I recommended this Richfield, MN place for Happy Hour and small appetizer plates that are perfect for sharing. The Curry Roasted Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts are crispy wings are our favorites. We like the fresh pita bread that came with our dishes. Their burgers are ideal for takeout – which is especially nice now that due to COVID-19 they are only offering take-out orders. I understand that they use a house-cured beef.
We were there for my daughter’s birthday because she loves their fries – seems to have something to do with the oil that they use. It was fun how they brought out a candle-lit cupcake to help celebrate.
The restaurant’s interior is surprisingly dark but the outdoor patio is bright.
It’s easy to feel the influence of global tastes; my salad had amazing goat cheese in it. My friend had the spinach-artichoke pizza baked to perfection in their fire oven. Upon repeat visits, I can also say that the roasted squash is exceptional and to try their quinoa salad with Creole-inspired seasonings. The cornmeal-crusted, deep-fried pickle okra is a fun and tasty twist on this vegetable.
We saw several $9 libations on the beverage menu but didn’t venture past chosing off a beer selection.
Excellent staff and service; they were prompt, helpful and added humor to our evening. This place offers both large tables for groups and dining booths that are ideal for small group conversations. We made reservations in advance, which helps especially on weekends.
Parking is okay. Check out the place on Google Maps first, that makes it easier to spot if you are a first-timer.
