It was set out nice, but when I went there ,Some staff quite frankly didn't really speak!!!, and were! too busy chatting with each other!!! Which was a shame as I didn't find them very approachable 🙄, But hopefully when I go again, it will be better,

Neat little museum, currently exhibiting seahenge, a few bits on local history, and Star Wars toys. Takes about an hour to see everything, and it's currently free to enter. Very close to the bus station, and a small car park is nearby. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.

King's Lynn Museum is a charming museum located in the heart of King's Lynn in Norfolk, England. UK The museum's collection tells the story of the town's history, from its earliest days to the present. The museum is divided into several galleries, each of which showcases different aspects of King's Lynn's past. One of the highlights of the museum is the interactive exhibit on the town's trade and industry, which includes a replica of a medieval merchant's house and displays of historic tools and machinery. The museum also has a collection of artworks, including paintings and sculptures by local artists. The artworks showcase the town's rich artistic heritage and give visitors a glimpse into the cultural life of King's Lynn. Another highlight of the museum is the recreated Victorian chemist's shop. Visitors can step back in time and see what it was like to buy medicines and remedies in the 19th century. The museum's staff members are friendly and knowledgeable and are always happy to answer any questions visitors may have. Overall, King's Lynn Museum is a fascinating attraction for anyone interested in history and culture. It's a great place to learn about the town's past and get a sense of what life was like in King's Lynn in the past. With its interactive exhibits, beautiful artworks, and informative displays, it's definitely worth a visit.

Visited here at half term on their Roman day and was pleasantly surprised! The seahenge display is amazing and they have some fun displays on local life for the last few hundred years. Their coin hordes and the displays explaining snettisham are ample for a small museum. It being free was really good and the Roman day, while limited in its scope, was informative.

Fascinating museum, well laid out, information all fairly well paced, particularly enjoyed seeing the pieces of Sutton Hoo and also found the temporary Star Wars exhibition intriguing.

This is a very small museum but worth a visit for sure. It's right next to the bus station so you might want to pop in while waiting for your bus! Some interesting exhibits and admission was free.

Great little museum housed in an old church. Here for the seahenge exhibition - fascinating stuff. Staff friendly and highly informative on the history of Kings Lynn. Recommend a visit, well worth the (modest) price

Yelp
Although quite a small museum, The Lynn Museum is more impressive than one would think. Having lived in the West Norfolk area for around three years now, I'd been meaning to visit the museum for at least that long and finally did so a few weeks ago. The two staff who worked at the front desk were friendly and helpful and the exhibits were outstanding. They have recently refurbished the whole building, inside and out, and now house Sea Henge which is a series of standing tree trunks found off the coast of North Norfolk. These trunks are the main attraction of the museum, but there's also a smaller anti-room which houses some local archaeology and a brief history of the town and surrounding area. If you're a fan of archaeology and history in general then there are worse ways to spend a couple of hours. If you're not, then perhaps give it a miss and head into the shopping centre a few meters away.
