My club and I met here for Sunday brunch. We had to make reservations for our group because it was larger than 6 people. We met the owner, Bud as well. Bud and his staff were professional, patient with our group, and kind. The food was exceptional. My entire group would like to return on our own schedule. You cannot pick a bad dish here. Been here many times for dinner and every single time is a slam dunk. Every plate delivered is perfectly timed, and the serving size is just the right amount. Every time my boyfriend and I eat here we leave extremely satisfied. Also, the drinks are SUPER yummy!

The service was excellent, drink was excellent but the food was quite disappointing. Burrata was wonderful, but the portobello Bolognese were not cooked well, and the steak came out cold, which was not what we expected for $125. However, we truly appreciate Janelle — she is the best! Love her service!

Lyonshare has become a staple for my husband and me - especially brunch. The biscuits & gravy are the most authentic I've had outside of the south, the chicken salad sandwich is incredible with lots of depth to its flavor profile. The roasted potatoes are - muah! Cocktails are exceptional with the best Old Fashioned in the area. The Bloody Mary is also a stand out. The staff is always lovely and attentive. Bud and Nick are gracious hosts. The atmosphere is warm. Oh and one other plus - if you're lucky enough to catch their live entertainment on the weekend - the band is really talented.

Atmosphere and service are exceptional! Loved the live music and cozy ambiance. Waitress was super friendly. However, food was dissapointing. The salad was very small, minimal, and underdressed. The mac & cheese was pretty dry and bland. Our steak was cooked well and was tasty, but didn't taste high-quality. The most insulting was the $12 side of sauteed spinach, which was probably a cup of leaves and was not cooked through / sauteed enough.

We gathered here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and I had already previewed the menu so I knew what I was looking forward to. The atmosphere was buzzing with life—stylish, well-dressed guests mixed with more casual “dad-bod chic” types. The setting has that trendy, small-city vibe where people-watching is half the fun, both inside and out. Based on the reviews, I decided to dress up a bit. You could easily get away with a T-shirt and jeans, but I’d recommend at least a collared shirt if you want to match the vibe. Of course, you do you. The place was lively and packed, so I highly recommend making a reservation. That said, I did notice they were accommodating walk-ins and even seating people at high-top side tables. Service was impeccable from start to finish. The menu offered mains, sides, and signature cocktails, along with a well-curated wine list. I ordered an espresso martini with mezcal—smooth, balanced, and delicious. Others in my group went for bottles of wine. For food, I had the mushroom tartine and a strip steak. Both were spot on: the tartine crisp and savory, the steak perfectly cooked to a juicy medium rare. Everything was excellent, and I’ve already told friends we’ll be returning soon.

December 2025: A Thursday night, an old friend, a bottle of wine, a long conversation, roasted carrots, sea bass, shishitos, steak frites and 2 orders of biscuits (one for dessert and one for breakfast the following morning) – Lyonshare is THE place for reunions. November 2025: I’ve probably dined at this restaurant no less than a dozen times this year. I am smitten! I tell everyone I know about it. I recently had dinner and am really loving the new winter menu. The sea bass is perfectly prepared. My dining companion ordered it as well and remarked that she never eats the fish skin, but this is so good she had to! As always, the biscuits are my absolute favorite menu item. I can honestly say this is the greatest biscuit of my life, which is really saying something given that I’m from the South. 😄 I also love the taste in music. It’s not often that a restaurant gets both the food and the music so perfectly attuned to the time of day and service. It’s a place I want to linger because it’s just so well done 👌🏼 ….. January 2025 This restaurant is an absolute delight. I had brunch and ordered the crispy potato and egg special of the day. The flavors were so bright and satisfying! The spritz was the perfect accompaniment. I also appreciate that 2 people were able to dine for a total bill of under $60. The space is airy and open with gorgeous natural light and they played classic country music (Hank Williams Sr. and lesser-played favorites like early Willie Nelson) to perfectly pair with the charm of the restaurant as a whole. I was so impressed I booked a reservation for dinner.

We spent a weekend in Beacon and loved Lyonshare so much we ended up going twice. The food is fantastic and the staff is warm, welcoming, and on top of every detail. Janelle was especially wonderful. We had a large group celebrating a birthday, and they accommodated us effortlessly. The brunch menu truly has something for everyone. The French omelet was light and fluffy, and even the simple side salad was perfectly dressed. The burger is substantial and packed with flavor, with fries cooked just right. The steak and eggs were also delicious and such a generous portion that it was perfect for sharing. And the drinks were just as good—delicious Bloody Marys and mimosas made it an all-around amazing experience.
