Lysebu

Let me add to the glowing reviews here. We had a fantastic stay at Lysebu. We took advantage of the indoor pool and sauna and had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and the bath with its rainfall shower was splendid. The staff were lovely and the setting of the hotel was quiet and beautiful. It made for the perfect weekend!

Hygge atmosphere in a truly beautiful place. The staff were very kind and polite. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had, with great selection. However, the room was not heated properly. The pool/gym/sauna close at 10:30pm.

A lovely setting and set of facilities. The welcome and help provided by Kit on arrival in reception and throughout the stay was brilliant. He made everything really enjoyable for us including where to walk and take time to visit. Would recommend highly.

If you ever go to Oslo, do yourself a favour and stay in this hotel. It's probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was super nice, cosy and clean and the surroundings were quiet and beautiful. The staff was also super friendly and very welcoming and gave us a tour and told the history of the place. The hotel has a nice pool with a sauna and several nooks and places where you can hang out and relax. Me and my family felt extremely comfortable. My only regret is that we only stayed one night. The breakfast was great and had everything I could want. Safe to say this wasn't my last stay at this gem of a hotel.

The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and spotlessly clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway.

We stayed here for only one night but wished we stayed longer. We were warmly welcomed by Kit who proved to be an amazing host for our whole stay. He showed us around the "stabbur" and also the garden and bee boxes. The hotel is lined with fantastic art and our room even had an "Inger Setter". Breakfast was great and the whole experience was fantastic. Sauna and pool were a great plus! Highly recommended.

Budget friendly, just a bit far city center. Value for money u can make it via the rail line 1 Frogner

The most beautiful hotel in oslo! The view from up there is fantastic. We were for dinner in the restaurant. The food was great. The breakfast is very versatile. The staff is very nice. The children loved the pool. We were already two times in this hotel and gladly come again!
