Very good price per night 650 nok including great breakfast. Facilities showers, guest kitchen and beds are great and inviting. Very helpful staff as they made me a breakfast for take away as I had to check out bevor the buffet opened. Shuttle will bring you up to the hike for 200 nok.

Great stay in the DNT Hut. The Breakfast was definitely a Highlight After a few days of hiking (even though id appreciate some more vegan options). Cozy Shared living Room.

Really beautiful place, nestled between the cliffs of Lysefjord, and a really peaceful place. This is one of the staffed DNT (Norwegian Trekking Association) cabins in the network, and have a breakfast buffet, common area for cooking basic meals, heating water etc. Incredible staff - very very helpful with your trip planning, and patience with all our questions (newbie and 'experienced'), and suggestions for places to visit. Thank you both 'Boss lady' and our 'Google phone' lady. Rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. Excellent location - Walking distance from the Lysebotn ferry terminal, and Lysebotn is the end of the line, and a short ride away from Kjerag trailhead at the Kjerag cafe. Pro Tip: Check the ferry schedules online, (especially if you're driving and will be using the car ferry) they don't run on Thursdays and Saturdays, an have only 2 ferries on other days - morning and evening. So, trying to get to Lysebotn from Stavanger (4-ish hours driving via alternate routes) and hiking up to Kjerag (8-10 hours round trip) on the same day will make a really really long day. Great place to stay when you catch the ferry ⛴️ the next morning through the fjords, great food and friendly staff who talk English,

We arrived at this hotel on a raining morning, and could not hike in the nearby Kjeragbolten as planned. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and let us check in earlier. There is an on-site restaurant with delicious food. We were also permitted to use their kitchen to cook our own meals. Beds are comfortable. Family room can accommodate 4 people. Around 10-15 minutes drive to the base of Kjeragbolten. In general, a pleasant stay at the beautiful town of Lysebotn.

A lovely place to stay for those considering hiking Kjerag! Really friendly and welcoming staff, rooms are dormitory style which work well, and some family rooms are available. Very comfortable with all the essentials (hot water, comfortable bed and good food!)

It has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee is good, and upstairs from the cafe is a nice living room type of space with free, fast WiFi. Toilets are (free) clean and tidy. Definitely recommend if passing by.

Perfect location with great views of the mountains and the Lysefjord! Just a 17 min drive to the start of the Kjeragbolten hike and 3 min walk to the ferry also the kayak rental cabin (open only during the season). They serve great breakfast which is included with the room rate. There is also a possibility to have dinner at the diner, just during less busy periods they might close earlier, just be aware. There's a well equipped kitchen too if you want to cook your food, just no close by supermarkets, so bring your groceries. Staff was welcoming and very friendly.
