Lysefjorden Tourist Cabin

Perfect location with great views of the mountains and the Lysefjord! Just a 17 min drive to the start of the Kjeragbolten hike and 3 min walk to the ferry also the kayak rental cabin (open only during the season). They serve great breakfast which is included with the room rate. There is also a possibility to have dinner at the diner, just during less busy periods they might close earlier, just be aware. There's a well equipped kitchen too if you want to cook your food, just no close by supermarkets, so bring your groceries. Staff was welcoming and very friendly.

It has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. The coffee is good, and upstairs from the cafe is a nice living room type of space with free, fast WiFi. Toilets are (free) clean and tidy. Definitely recommend if passing by.

A lovely place to stay for those considering hiking Kjerag! Really friendly and welcoming staff, rooms are dormitory style which work well, and some family rooms are available. Very comfortable with all the essentials (hot water, comfortable bed and good food!)

We arrived at this hotel on a raining morning, and could not hike in the nearby Kjeragbolten as planned. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and let us check in earlier. There is an on-site restaurant with delicious food. We were also permitted to use their kitchen to cook our own meals. Beds are comfortable. Family room can accommodate 4 people. Around 10-15 minutes drive to the base of Kjeragbolten. In general, a pleasant stay at the beautiful town of Lysebotn.

The perfect place to explore the are of lysefjord and hike kjeragbolten. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The whole “village” is very colorful and green. The breakfast is the best so far, with a huge selection of everything! For dinner i can only recommend to ask for local dishes.

Expensive rooms for what you get. Could not even open a window. It would be nice to have a bath mat or something, because the shower sprays all over the bathroom. A welcome mat for wetshoes (it rains a lot is would also be good) Beds are good (pretty important. Food is good in the restaurant. It was worth the visit with the walk up Kjerag. Pos feedback. You can charge your electric car also onsite.
