Nice beautiful coffee shop inside the Akureyri Botanical Gardens. The atmosphere is so relaxing and nice. Great place for taking a cup of coffee and chat. The coffee was really good, the cookies also and my favorite was the ice cream sandwich, absolutely perfect. Offers nice views of the Gardens, being there on the fall was magical. Nice cozy place. Service is so-so. Nevertheless great place to visit.

A very humble place perfect for small bites. I had the prosciutto sourdough and 70% hot chocolate, my friend had the smoked cod. All were delicious. The atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil when I visited in late September. A low-stress environment with very cosy vibe.

Tucked away in the Akureyri botanical garden was LYST. A very cute café that serves coffee, alcohol and small snacks. The vibe was extremely layback and relaxing. We ordered a couple drinks and two cheese dishes and finished every bit of it! If you are in Akureyri and craving some drinks and snacks, look no further than LYST.

A cafe in a botanical garden doesn't have to make good coffee. But this one does. The coffee was fantastic, and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty. I wish I could try the cakes as well. Highly recommended.

Situated in a beautiful garden, LYST is bright and welcoming. They have a varied menu that has something for everyone. Their veggie soup was incredible. Their food quality is some of the best I’ve had since being in Iceland. Definitely the most flavorful food I’ve had here. Highly recommend stopping in. Great fresh coffee as well

I had the best soup in Iceland here 😍 The fish soup tastes like Singapore’s curry fish soup but more creamy. Their mocha is 70% chocolate which is nice . Atmosphere is great too in the middle of the garden . Come here for a short break, you will love it . Can the chef share the recipe for the soup please ? 🙏🏻
