Lyttos Beach Hotel

Perfect place to stay! Clean rooms and common areas, different food every day, and the most amazing is staff!! We haven't seen a grumpy face throughout our stay, they always smile, they are universal and unique at the same time. Unique shows every evening, and there is a lot of heart put in all of it. If you want to experience and be astonished, that is the place for you!

Fun experience. Great facilities, lots of things to do (organized sports all day, many pools, waterskied, beach etc). However, food wasn’t good enough. Food was very cheap, same every night, and just not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. If the food improves, 5 stars for sure

Absolutely loved my stay at Lyttos Beach Resort! 🌴 The rooms are spacious and spotless, food is delicious with so much variety, and the pools and private beach are simply amazing. Perfect mix of relaxation and fun – from water slides to evening shows. The staff are warm, friendly, and make you feel at home. Truly a little paradise in Crete – can’t wait to come back! 🌊✨

We were 3 adults (me + my parents). Wonderful experience Rooms: we had the family room. Spacious, with a sliding door separating both sleeping areas. Great outside balcony too. Smoking allowed. There were water bottles inside the room plus the cleaning ladies left water bottles in the corridors for everyone to help themselves. Food: Main restaurant with absolutely huge variety and everyday different. Catered to food intolerances, healthy eating, kids area, etc. There is also one Fish grill restaurant, one Meat grill restaurant, one Asian restaurant, one Greek and one fast food restaurant near the water park. Honestly I was very impressed with quality of food since it is such a big resort. Area: huge resort with main pool, very very big. There was the typical towel in chair reservation that I hate, but there was plenty of space for everyone, it never felt packed. There is also an Olympic pool, an heart shaped pool, one round pool, one indoor pool, and lots of private pools for the downstairs bedrooms. There was a big pool bar near the main pool which was lovely. Animation: the best I’ve seen in resorts. Everyday was different and they rotate every week. We had live music, circus night, illusion night, pirate night etc. Even though we were 3 adults I must say the resort is amazing for children. There was a lot of children by the pools, there was a lot of animation for children and teenagers. There were two bingo nights, one karaoke night, those were also lovely. We had a fantastic week and would love to come back again! Truly recommended for family time. Outside area: you can walk on the promenade but there’s only hotels around. Probably better to get the bus or taxi if you want to visit the cities nearby.

We stayed at Lyttos Beach Hotel as a family of four adults and one infant for 7 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was superb, with a wide variety of options available at every meal. There are three main restaurants to choose from, plus one special restaurant available once per stay (one another was closed during our visit). The hotel offers several bars that serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day. The complex also features a water park, a kids' playground, and a club for small children — perfect for families. The beach is right at the hotel and is well equipped with plenty of deckchairs and sun umbrellas. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. From the animation team and chefs to the front desk staff, everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to help. We had an issue with our original room (1208), and the staff handled it with great care. We were first offered a villa at no extra cost, but declined as it was too far from the main facilities given we were traveling with a small child. Instead, we were given a different room and a fair compensation. A special thanks to Michalis from the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and understanding throughout our stay — and even welcomed us back almost like old friends when we unexpectedly returned due to a canceled flight caused by bad weather. Highly recommend this hotel for families looking for comfort, fun, and outstanding service.

This was our second visit to Lyttos Beach.|We had a bit of a shaky start as despite a later afternoon arrival, we still had no room, and when we did they didn't honor our room request, but the lady in reception was brilliant and gave us a choice of alternative room types and locations to try and help.|All the staff are lovely and will help if needed (like the cleaning staff when we got lost!!).|My kids are 9 and 12, and it's perfect for them. They're not interested in the kids club side anymore, but could spend all day at the water park or playing in different pools (even after 2 visits we still haven't even been in them all!!). There seemed to be more lifeguards this year and the lanes at the bottom of the slides are a great addition to stop people getting wiped out as they wander sideways out! It was a shame the circle pool there was closed this year, but hopefully that'll be opened again next year. The big green inflatable rings seemed to disappear just before we arrived. Not sure what happened there, so definitely pack your own inflatables for the lazy river. The big tunnel slide isn't quite the same without them either.|The playground is massive and really comes into its own in the evenings when it's a bit cooler. We also found the giant chess by the tenis club this year, which was great fun!|We did a couple of the evening shows. It does get really busy so can feel quite cramped, but the shows were good fun. |The food is amazing. One of the main reasons we returned was how good they were with my son's food allergy last year. None of us ever went hungry, there's so much choice for all different tastes and the quality of the food is great. We mainly ate in the main buffet restaurant, but also tried the Kalypso - smaller selection but the greek food is amazing. Thalassa at lunch time does a great "pick your own" stirfry alongside a smaller selection of other snacky bits. The Meat and Grill was new this year, you only get 1 visit per week, which devastated my son as he loved it so much! He's still talking about the BBQ spare ribs 7 weeks later!|The beach is lovely, can bit a bit stony in places so water shoes are advised. You get amazing sunsets down there though so I'd definitely recommend an evening stroll. |One day we got a taxi to Aquaworld Aquarium and Reptile Centre. It was about 12 euros each way. It's small but such good fun. Lots of different types of fish, octopuses, eels, turtle etc. Then out the back is a really interactive reptile area with free roaming giant tortoise and iguanas. You can hold a snake and we even saw a terrapin laying eggs! Lovely for a couple of hours out and about.|Overall the hotel has so much to offer and is kept to a high standard throughout.

We are staying here until the 9th and after just 3 days I can already say – everything is amazing! 🌟 The staff are truly wonderful – so kind, caring and always ready to help. They genuinely make you feel welcome and brighten your day. 🏠 When I wasn’t comfortable with the first room (as family rooms on the ground floor didn’t quite suit us), the team immediately arranged a change without hesitation. Such thoughtful service really makes a difference. 💦 The hotel is spotless and the pools are fantastic – comfortable, relaxing, and perfect for both families and adults. 🍴 The food deserves a special mention: every restaurant is outstanding, with so much variety, quality and incredible taste. Each meal feels like a real treat. 💙 Thank you Lyttos Beach team – you make every guest’s day brighter. We are already making unforgettable memories here.

We had a delightful week vacation with our little girls. The most important part for us was food as kids eat all the time. It was great: quality as well as diversity. Pools and water slides were great too, but I still do not znderstand why the kids pool had coldest water, when everywhere else the water was great. Gardens in the complex were astonishing. One thing we agreed on with my wife was that they could improve sustainability. Do not know why all the towels need to be replaced everyday, such a waste. Moreover they could add recycling bins around the hotel. I would rate it 9.5/10 and highly recommend
