M Boutique Hostel

I booked M Boutique Hostel only for one night on my arrival. The location was great. Lots of establishments around like spa, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, convenience stores, etc. It was easy to spot. There's a pool but was on maintenance when I stayed there. The male shower room was under maintenance as well in the mixed dorm. I liked the most that they gave RFIDs (card and bracelet) for the doors and lockers. Thought the socket in my bed wasnt really working, had to be in a certain angle for it to work. Overall, it was a great stay!

It's right in the middle of Seminyak close to all the big clubs and cool places. It's a capsule hostel and the beds are super comfortable, you get 2 pillows and a towel! The blinds work super well. The pool is awesome and perfect temperature! And the girls in the reception were very very nice!

Great hostel in the centre of Seminyak in which both some younger and older people would be comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It is not very big, but everything works. The showers and toilets were very comfortable to me and included shampoo and shower gel. In the bed cube, you can find a comfortable bed, two pillows, and a really comfortable blanket. I especially loved the charging spots with the two USB ports and the little table! There is a perfect air conditioning temperature in the rooms (although once you close your bedcude curtain, you don't feel the cold airflow anymore). Everything works with electronic locks for both the rooms and the backpack lockers, which gives a safe and convenient feeling. Three main points of improvement, more as feedback to work on rather than reasons to not stay here: it seems unimportant maybe, but the ladder to the upper bed was super small and there wasn't really anything to hold on to, which made it hard to climb up and down (for context: I'm a fit 22 year old). Moreover, there was an extreme lack of parking space, which made me have to park my scooter somewhere further down the street. Lastly, the surroundings are very noisy due to the street and live music from the restaurant. The door to outside wasn't closing properly, which made it louder. Maybe they could work on insulation.

Capsule sleeping, hot, and sweaty, not much air flow in your capsule. Good for a quick stay not recommended for the long term. Price online booking cheaper than in person, not sure why not match prices to online 🤔 Showers In good condition, doors to toilets and showers have gaps, so people can see inside, not a good think for women wanting privacy.

This is a good low budget place. It had a lot of things that can be improved only by paying some attention to them. I would come back because it is the most inexpensive option around, reliable and people working there are nice. The six people rooms are better than the 35 people room. Good things: Good price. Staff are kind and patient. Refillable water. Comfortable firm mattresses. Good location. Small parking area available. You get a towel. No deposit needed. Pool is now clean/usable. Bad things: 1.Noise by staff—Staff goes in the rooms between 6:30am to 8am to clean while people sleep, they turn on the lights, throw perfumes in the air and sweep. They also sometimes talk loudly across the halls. Also, staff does not use headphones in the common areas. 2.Heavy chemicals— Strong chemical smells. Heavy use of ant/roach insect killing sprays and perfumes or other chemicals everywhere, yet no deep cleaning is done in the place, no scrubbing and real deep cleaning, only wiping surfaces lightly and spraying a lot of strong smell stuff. 3. Noise/not following etiquette by others: Sometimes people talk on the phone at night on their bed cubicles and have no care in the world to wear shorts or be considerate to other people who are resting or around them.
There are some ambience noises of night clubs near by, but the sound is not too loud. 4. Lack of plugs in the kitchen big table to connect your electronics. This can be solved by buying an extension and placing it by the big table. 5. Not a real kitchen, though there is a fridge, toaster and microwave. 6. The given wifi is not good (mboutiquehostel) Not possible to work connected on that wifi, slow loading/calls drop. 7. Paying with your credit card directly (without Agoda) is not possible, only because they don’t fix the machine to do it. Broken for more than one month.

it’s good and clean hostel. stuff was really nice, it’s close to popular bars and restaurants

Good hostel and cheap for solo travelers and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
