Shocking experience. We booked a double room, and were told we had a twin room at check in. I asked if it was possible to have the double that we booked and paid for (as the hotel was half empty) and the scruffy receptionist told us that it would cost €300 "or more" as they only have one double room left. Why we didn't get that double room I don't know. Of course we rejected this offer.||The room was cramped and walls peeling. It had a smoke smell despite labelled non smoking. There was nowhere to really put my work laptop and notes, so I asked the receptionist if I could use some form of business suite for one hour in the morning for a work call. Surprise, he told me I could - but it would cost me €300. So I can either pay him, cash only, or call another hotel.||To top this off there is no soundproofing in the room so we were awoken throughout the night by loud guests outside the room, and the slamming of the communal door to the elevators. We paid for breakfast in the morning which was extortionate and consisted of old cheese and a load of fruits. There were only a couple of hot food options and they were limited to wet scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, or bread to toast. ||I sent a complaint to this hotel and they gave me a long winded reply, doubling down on the cost being a real thing, and refusing to even offer some form of refund - pulling up some buried terms and conditions about it being a partner offer so I technically could not be guaranteed a double bed. ||Shocking customer service and a shady backroom operation.

Good large group hotel. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were a bit small. Great shower. A kettle would be a nice addition. Staff were neutral. Location is pretty far from the old quarter.

Usual chain hotel, so has everything you need for a short stay. The room was fine. Only downside was that the hotel states it’s a 20 minute walk from the city, but it took us 40 minutes and we’re fast walkers who are always walking everywhere, so just be aware that it’s further than they say.

Staff in this hotel deserve 10 stars. Restaurant employees very friendly and helpful. Housekeepers cleaning this hotel until it shines and smells fantastic. BUT, I’ve never seen a 4star hotel without offering slippers or. Q-tips…anyways the worst of all is that at breakfast if you want decaf caffe, you will be charged, so if you have high blood pressure you will have to pay for your coffee.

Good things: -Rooms have a nice and modern design, small bed and soft pillows -Good breakfast, 🥞 variety of foods, breads and drinks, even honeycomb is available -There is a Shopping Mall around 20m walking from the hotel, or 5 euro with uber Bad things: -They have a variety of shower types, ours was a deathtrap. The “tall” bathrooms are literally a climbing experience, EXTREMELY UNSAFE, the step height is more that 60cm, with NO SAFETY BARS ANYWHERE! This is not a regular badtube where the base is at the same, or similar level of the floor, the inside of the shower is at 60cm from the floor, it’s like a big step, this for someone with mobility issues must be hard to climb, and I remark NO SAFETY BARS ANYWHERE I’m young and my mon had to help me to get down and obviously I help her! But elderly people would totally fall down, trying to get inside! This is unacceptable in so many ways, not inclusive, and very risky! -Unfortunately, our stay coincided with that of a large group of around 100 Croatian teenagers and children from a sports team, which made our experience extremely uncomfortable. The teens had no manners, running around the lobby and creating chaos. They even pushed my mother and an 80 year old lady to get into the elevator, even though we were first in line and had been waiting for quite some time. They literally push them and run away when we call them out. While the hotel cannot control who their guests are, they do have a responsibility to maintain a safe and respectful environment, especially since all guests are paying for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

A good hotel, also well-suited for groups. The rooms are clean and tidied daily, with effective air conditioning which made the stay comfortable. The bed was a bit small and the pillow was very uncomfortable, which was a downside. As for meals, the breakfast was good even during busy times. Could be more bread options. The hotel restaurant also offers tasty lunch and dinner options. All in all, a solid hotel for a comfortable stay.

The rooms are small but cosy. Location is very close to the center. Hotel personnel are kind. Breakfast is very good. Overall it is a good hotel. There is a nice Chinese Hot Pot restaurant open late at night.

The hotel is in a great location, the city center is just a short bus ride away. |The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast is plentiful. Unfortunately, the room’s AC is noisy. We tried opening the window at night, but it overlooked the roof where the boiler house is located. The noise from the fans made it difficult to sleep.
