M Maison Particulière Porto

In my experience, this hotel is unique—a quiet haven in the city's bustling heart. We stayed three nights and found the staff very helpful and friendly. The interior is truly stunning, with elegant features tastefully evocative of an earlier time. The room we had—room 2—is set at the rear of the hotel with a charming little courtyard. If the opportunity arises, we will stay again. It's an absolute gem!

This is an amazing boutique hotel in the perfect location in Porto. The employees were all friendly and attentive. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was splendid and a fantastic way to start the day. This was a perfect stay for us, we wouldn’t change anything! Tip - If you have a room with a balcony, treat yourself to breakfast on the balcony one morning.

This wonderful small boutique hotel had 10 rooms, of which our group of couples took 6 of the rooms. The location was dead center of an old time European square with many restaurants and shops galore. Live music playing by local artists at all times. The small group of hotel management were as pleasant and perfect as you could ask for. Each room took you back in time and decorated beautifully. All had some kind of balcony or outside patio to enjoy, along with an adorable rooftop sitting area. Our cost also included a lovely breakfast each morning. We give this hotel 5 stars and fully recommend it to anyone traveling to Porto.

One of the most beautiful hotels we have stayed at. The entire place is renovated with great taste and charm plus the service, including breakfast, are exceptional. It is a family run business and the location is perfect. Highly highly recommended, we would stay here in a heart beat. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable stay.

After reading a ton of reviews, I booked the M Maison Particuliere mainly for it's central town location, intimate nature, and the availability of a US King sized bed. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this hotel is - my husband and I travel often, and we both agree this is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The attention to detail, the customer service, and the unique hotel with quaint rooms (I believe there are only 10 total) are well worth every penny. We stayed in room 2 which is a lower level room with a STUNNING small courtyard and it could not have been a better stay. Our hosts catered to our every need, and the location of this hotel cannot be beat. It's only a 12 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the river edge. If you are looking for a charming European gem, look no further than this hotel. It's absoluely wonderful and we are already figuring out our next trip back.

Absolute top quality hotel. By far the most personal and unique hotel I have ever stayed at. Staff are extremely service minded, knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel is in the middle of Porto city center, close to everything you’re likely to want to see. Breakfast is ordered the night before and served personally by the staff. And the decor is stunning.

Absolutely perfect in every way. A gem. The rooms are large, beautifully done, and very comfortable . The staff could not have been more accommodating. The location was perfect. Marco was an amazing host who treated us like guests in his own home. Don't think twice; this place is a wonder.

This hotel is wonderful. Best customer service I have ever had. The hotel has 10 rooms and my group took 6 of those rooms. Beautiful historic building with modern amenities. The owner, her son and her staff could not do enough for us. It was our favorite hotel experience of all the hotels we stayed at during our 2 week vacation.
