I am in my room in M Plus right now, writing this review. There are roosters crowing outside, and as the morning ascends, the sounds of the city are getting louder. Traffic and construction are incessant parts of Chiang Mai's atmosphere. We are checking out today after a stay of 24 days. I'm sure I will miss this place.||||These are apartments, and meant for long-term stay. So you won't find some of the luxuries you might expect at a hotel. BUT you will find a much lower price. ||We stayed in a superior room, which has one bedroom separated from the main living room and kitchen area. The bedroom alone is more sizable than most hotel rooms. ||||Internet breaks down occasionally. When it is working, it is very good and fast.||||The swimming pool looks small, but it has a lot of water. It is maintained very well, and as everything else on the property, is very clean. I enjoyed swimming in it. ||||The location may not seem so perfect for many travelers, as it is not within walking distance to the Night Bazaar and entertainment areas of Chiang Mai. But it is not so far away, either. Central Festival Airport - a major shopping mall - is only one kilometer away. If you use the back road to go to Central - instead of the highway - you will pass by many local shops and eateries, and you will end up by two pizza places. I walked this road several times, and became friends with some monks who live in the nearby temple.||||We walked to the Cultural Center, which is just around the corner from Central. I highly recommend including a Khantoke dinner in your Chiang Mai travel itinerary. I took my wife there for our 3-month anniversary, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.||||I think I have time for one more dip in the pool before we check out, get on our motorcycle (rented) and head on down the road for more adventures.
