Got to the room, the fridge didn’t work, internet was woeful & the smaller shower head was not adjustable. As each room has its own small supply of Hot Water we really needed the smaller shower head to work. Then found the power sockets were not internationally compatible. I phoned reception about the power sockets, they said they would look for an international adapter and send to the room if they found one, I asked them to let me know.||After approx 1 hour I went to reception to report the fridge, shower, internet and ask about the adapter. They arranged for maintenance and said they would look for adapter. Maintenance came, tried to say the fridge was ok, they didn’t get very cold but, eventually they agreed to change it. He sorted out the shower, gave us access to Admin wifi and the adapter was collected a little while later. It didn’t matter if you use the room or Admin wifi, it constantly dropped out, I would have to log back in up to 20 times an hour, very frustrating but to be fair our companions had excellent Wifi service in their room. The bathroom bench was very low, doubt it was 24 inches off the ground. I’m short and it was too low for me, my husband at 6ft found it even tricker. The room was not particularly well cleaned before we arrived, dust on the edges of tables, on the floor next to the walls, under the bed & sofa (a used tissue too), the cushions on the sofa had marks on (noticed that on the sofas in the reception seating area too whilst waiting for the room, not a good first impression) and there were hand marks on wardrobes. It turned out there was 1 international power socket in the room (found by accident, it had the bedside lamp plugged in, the socket with 2 USB ports).||On the positive side there was a self serve Laundry and free detergent/conditioner was supplied by the hotel, that was a real bonus and we were very grateful for those facilities.
