On the Grid : Tough Love Yoga

"Prepare to kick your yoga game up a notch. This DeKalb Avenue yoga studio has metal yoga (yes, metal yoga) classes which, as you can imagine, will kick your ass. Don't let that scare you, though. There's a practice for everyone here, from novice to veteran yogi. Enthusiastic, supportive instructors teach well-paced, challenging classes in a cool warehouse-y space with great natural light. Best part? Drop-ins are $10." - Rogers Eckersley Design

On the Grid : Tough Love Yoga

"Bordering the Edgewood and Candler Park neighborhoods, this community-focused yoga studio is nothing short of unique. Here, expertly-taught alignment-based yoga instruction is geared towards practitioners of all ages and experience levels. Looking for a workshop or class experience unlike any other session in the city? Try ‘Metal Yoga’ (a tough love signature that embraces music as hard as the work itself), ‘Buddha-licious’ (a faster paced strength-building flow program set to hip hop), or ‘Wine’d Down’ (where you actually imbibe in a well-earned glass of vino post-workout). Pricing is reasonable and completely flexible based on your level of commitment; you can drop by and try any class for just $10! Visit the website for full schedules, class descriptions, and membership pricing." - Green Olive Media

M3 is absolutely incredible! The hot classes are next level and completely addictive. The instructors are excellent and the studio vibe is clean, calm, and welcoming. You leave every class drenched, centered, and totally hooked. 10/10, best in town!

M3 is an amazing studio! You can feel the inclusivity, positivity, and sense of community the second you walk in the door. All the teachers are so engaging and genuine. My favorite part is there's hands on assists in their Jivamukti classes. This studio offers a diversity of class types so I feel like my routine is never monotonous. It's a really lovely experience through and through.

I’ve been coming to M3 for just about a year after a friend introduced me to classes here. It has been such a welcoming and accepting place, I love the diversity of everything- body types, orientations, race, — and also class options! Hard to find such an affordable studio where you can have both hot and unheated yoga, AND pilates! I highly recommend classes with Stevie or Lisa!

I have been going to M3 yoga for over a year. The studio is very clean and organized and staffs are always very nice. They offer all kinds of yoga and Pilates classes to meet the different needs of people. It’s been my go-to place for exercise and de-stressing.

I’ve been taking yoga and Pilates classes at M3 for about 5 months now. I can confidently say it’s the best studio in Atlanta. All the instructors are so fun, the playlists are spot on, the hot room is HOT. The whole vibe of the studio is just so welcoming and friendly. I love coming here and am so grateful to have found M3!

Yelp
I've been attending classes at M3 yoga since they took over from Tough Love. I love the owners, Matt and Nick, and I appreciate that they brought their approach to yoga to Atlanta (they also have a studio in Athens.) I have my favorite teachers and work to attend their classes as much as I can. For me, the membership plan is worth it if you can attend at least 6 classes a month. (Some people come every day! Multiple times a day!) I mostly attend Hatha classes but I also enjoy Flow and Super Stretch. The stretch, yin and restorative classes are the most beginner friendly. I've only attended a few warm/hot classes and they are not my jam. However, they are very popular with others! M3 is LGBTQIA friendly and has a policy against racism posted on their website. I haven't seen any other studio display such a message. As a Black woman, I notice when I'm the only Black person in the room, and I appreciate when someone else who looks like me is present and welcome in the space. (I don't want to be the only one y'all!) They have an app to use for scheduling and a very active IG page. They also have contests to encourage class attendance and give good prizes! I won a gift card to a local store and felt so special. The only thing I don't like is the class schedule changing every season. Some classes don't change but I've had to drop some classes because they are on a new day or at a different time. I can't believe that I'm the first person to review M3. It's a great addition to Atlanta yoga and I hope more people sing their praises.
