On the Grid : Tough Love Yoga

"Prepare to kick your yoga game up a notch. This DeKalb Avenue yoga studio has metal yoga (yes, metal yoga) classes which, as you can imagine, will kick your ass. Don't let that scare you, though. There's a practice for everyone here, from novice to veteran yogi. Enthusiastic, supportive instructors teach well-paced, challenging classes in a cool warehouse-y space with great natural light. Best part? Drop-ins are $10." - Rogers Eckersley Design

On the Grid : Tough Love Yoga

"Bordering the Edgewood and Candler Park neighborhoods, this community-focused yoga studio is nothing short of unique. Here, expertly-taught alignment-based yoga instruction is geared towards practitioners of all ages and experience levels. Looking for a workshop or class experience unlike any other session in the city? Try ‘Metal Yoga’ (a tough love signature that embraces music as hard as the work itself), ‘Buddha-licious’ (a faster paced strength-building flow program set to hip hop), or ‘Wine’d Down’ (where you actually imbibe in a well-earned glass of vino post-workout). Pricing is reasonable and completely flexible based on your level of commitment; you can drop by and try any class for just $10! Visit the website for full schedules, class descriptions, and membership pricing." - Green Olive Media

Amazing studio with a wide variety of heated and unheated yoga and Pilates classes. I love the hot Pilates and super stretch classes. All of the instructors are amazing, knowledgeable, and entertaining. I especially like Holly, Elizabeth, Matt, and Asheton. The studio is super inclusive and open to all fitness levels.

I’ve been coming to M3 Yoga and Pilates for over a year. I’m so grateful to have found this studio. There is a WIDE variety of classes, both heated and non heated. Each instructor is unique, knowledgeable and happy to assist you. The studio is always clean and has multiple props you can use for class. There is genuine community here. The front desk staff and teachers get to know you by name. The membership packages are AMAZING. I can’t say enough about how happy I am to practice at M3 Yoga and Pilates!

Love, love, love M3! They have a great selection of non-heated as well as heated classes (which is huge for me as I have never been a big fan of heated class) They also offer all types and levels of practice and often hold workshops and other fun events. I've enjoyed every instructor I've practiced with and the space is lovely and welcoming. Love having a membership here!

M3 has been such a great home studio - I've been a member since the first week the Atlanta studio was opened and have gotten so much out of my time practicing in this space. So many friends have joined since and it's not only nice to have a space to come for some quality personal time but also to hug a familiar face and practice alongside such great humans. I've always appreciated how much though the owners and staff dedicate to building intentional community and offering quality yoga/ pilates classes!

I went to the Hot Power Flow with Stevie—this was my first ever yoga class and I loved it. I feel strong and encouraged. Really enjoyed being told we could do any variations that felt comfortable and safe. Seriously awesome first flow.

Amazing studio where the instructors care! I love Holly and Matt’s classes. I’ve been a member since September and it’s my best monthly subscription I won’t do without. I love the 6:30am classes and hope more are offered soon. As an added bonus parking is great and the studio is always so clean.

M3 is the best studio in Atlanta! The community is very close knit, and it truly feels like home away from home. There are class styles for everyone, whether you want to lift weights and sweat your buns off, or relax and stretch in a non-heated room. I can't recommend this place and these teachers enough.

Yelp
I've been attending classes at M3 yoga since they took over from Tough Love. I love the owners, Matt and Nick, and I appreciate that they brought their approach to yoga to Atlanta (they also have a studio in Athens.) I have my favorite teachers and work to attend their classes as much as I can. For me, the membership plan is worth it if you can attend at least 6 classes a month. (Some people come every day! Multiple times a day!) I mostly attend Hatha classes but I also enjoy Flow and Super Stretch. The stretch, yin and restorative classes are the most beginner friendly. I've only attended a few warm/hot classes and they are not my jam. However, they are very popular with others! M3 is LGBTQIA friendly and has a policy against racism posted on their website. I haven't seen any other studio display such a message. As a Black woman, I notice when I'm the only Black person in the room, and I appreciate when someone else who looks like me is present and welcome in the space. (I don't want to be the only one y'all!) They have an app to use for scheduling and a very active IG page. They also have contests to encourage class attendance and give good prizes! I won a gift card to a local store and felt so special. The only thing I don't like is the class schedule changing every season. Some classes don't change but I've had to drop some classes because they are on a new day or at a different time. I can't believe that I'm the first person to review M3. It's a great addition to Atlanta yoga and I hope more people sing their praises.
