I've been attending classes at M3 yoga since they took over from Tough Love. I love the owners, Matt and Nick, and I appreciate that they brought their approach to yoga to Atlanta (they also have a studio in Athens.)
I have my favorite teachers and work to attend their classes as much as I can. For me, the membership plan is worth it if you can attend at least 6 classes a month. (Some people come every day! Multiple times a day!)
I mostly attend Hatha classes but I also enjoy Flow and Super Stretch. The stretch, yin and restorative classes are the most beginner friendly. I've only attended a few warm/hot classes and they are not my jam. However, they are very popular with others!
M3 is LGBTQIA friendly and has a policy against racism posted on their website. I haven't seen any other studio display such a message. As a Black woman, I notice when I'm the only Black person in the room, and I appreciate when someone else who looks like me is present and welcome in the space. (I don't want to be the only one y'all!)
They have an app to use for scheduling and a very active IG page. They also have contests to encourage class attendance and give good prizes! I won a gift card to a local store and felt so special.
The only thing I don't like is the class schedule changing every season. Some classes don't change but I've had to drop some classes because they are on a new day or at a different time.
I can't believe that I'm the first person to review M3. It's a great addition to Atlanta yoga and I hope more people sing their praises.
