Maagiri Hotel

I love how they welcomed us with a glass of lime and mint. Their staff were so courteous and friendly. The location is great too with a nice ocean view and good restaurants around. The room was clean and tidy and spacious. The mattress was good too it feels like home.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maagiri Hotel and was really impressed by the quality of their food and drinks. The menu offers a great mix of international dishes and local favorites, and everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were also excellent — from refreshing juices to mocktails, each one was prepared with care. The restaurant has a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for both relaxing meals and special occasions. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Maagiri Hotel truly stands out in Malé for its dining experience. If you’re looking for delicious food, great drinks, and top-notch service, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

It’s just opposite the carnival jetty ferry to airport/Hulumale new city . Its services are wuite standard for 4 stars with rooftoop dining experience with view of airtraffic , taking off/landing at Vrlana airport. superfast internet connectivity and sustained electricity power make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. It’s valued money.

Best location in Male, just near the arrival jetty. You don’t need taxi - just take ferry from airport 15 MVR and you will arrive to hotel! Super polite staff. Special thanks for the reservations Ami and Sulochana receptionist: polite, professional and they made me feel welcome Rooms clean, very nice gym. Small but have all necessary equipment and toilet, shower, water.

We missed our flight and needed somewhere close to the airport to stay for the night and were recommend this hotel.|The hotel picked us up from the airport within 10 mins of making a reservation. On arrival the exception team were lovely, very efficient and happy to answer our questions. We were also offered a late check out at a small fee which was very helpful.|We ate in the terrace restaurant and again the staff were lovely and the pizza that we ordered was delicious. We could not finish all of the piazza so we're provided a carry out box for the rest.|The room was spacious and very modern and comfortable.|The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep.|Breakfast was plentiful, a great range to suit all tastes.|The complimentary toothbrush,razor, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner s made life easier and were very much appreciated.|All in all this is a great place to stay with easy access to the airport.

Location is good. Close to city center. Nice ocean view. But rooms smell damp. And the service is really slow at the restaurant. 3 out of 5 overall.

If you’re stopping in Male for several hours and no more and need a pit stop. This is expensive but ok-ish for that purpose. If you’re overnighting, the restaurant is very expensive compared to the low quality food that’s been offered. The facilities- no pool or business lounge and the “gym” is a converted from very small standard bedroom with 2 or three sets of basic equipment. No more than two people can fit in the “gym” at a time. Three persons is very uncomfortable and cramped. Over all Male is a dirty city with not much to do. If stuck here for 24hrs or more, I’d not choose Maagiri. There’s much better options very close by instead. Not highly rated

This is a fantastic place to stay when visiting Male city, conveniently located near Velana Airport. The staff is warm and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. The rooms are spacious and clean, with several coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The food is delicious, and breakfast starts at 7:00 AM daily, featuring a rotating selection of 3-4 items. If you want to explore the city, this is one of the best hotels I highly recommend.
