We visited this art gallery that is housed in a historic building. The place is quite different from the photos on Maps as there are only 2 small rooms on display. One of the rooms had merchandise like T-shirts, rather than art. Still, there were some nice art pieces for a quick look.

We went there on a booked workshop on NAIDOC week. Dale did a fantastic presentation on the Aboriginal food and culture. They even have emus as their pets there. But if you go to see the emu, please watch out the cars sharing the same driveway at the rear block which is separate from the galary. A ute just missed my kid by 1 second.

We visited Maalinup 10 years ago while on a visit from NZ. The gallery was fantastic so we were determined to go again. Maalinup has moved and not clearly signed now so harder to find but it's in a beautiful setting. The gallery is smaller but has great works that enticed more money from our pockets than intended. Well worth visiting and handy to a vineyard - can't remember the name 😟.

Lots of interesting and beautiful artworks. Love the emus. I bought this beautiful painted glass plate, which I was told was painted by local artist Christine Winmar.

A surprising array of rather lovely paintings by Aboriginal artists. I would have liked to buy at least two that particularly caught my eye, but they were outside my budget. But there was a pleasing number of smaller pieces of sculpture and painting that were quite affordable and also likely to make excellent and unusual gifts. Worth a visit. Open daily. Good parking available.

Awesome experience tasting native plants that have been indigenous food sources and are delicious. Infused olive oils, jams, and much other products. Beautiful jewelry and ceramics decorated with aboriginal art. Stunning pieces and much more. Spend some time to have a good look.
