The market has African traditional artefacts and attires. The market also has the best sculptures you can ever get in Kenya Paintings in the market are top-notch.

Maasai Market was such an amazing experience! So many different vendors with similar but also many different options available. Come with plenty of cash and lots of patience. I would recommend walking around the market as much as you can first to price match with the other vendors so you get the best price, especially as a foreigner. Be prepared to haggle 🤣😂

Street market selling little trinkets, clothing and other jewelry. The sellers are quite persistent and will push you to buy their stuff, make sure you're firm with your negotiations and be ready to say No. Most of the stuff here is good quality and cheap, and the clothes are super funky. Had a great time shopping for African print shirts and earrings.

A perfect spot to get all your souvenirs and gifts for family. However, it was a stressful experience with all the people asking for money while you try to shop. We had about 6 different women with children following us around asking for money the 3 hours we spent shopping.

Great indigenous goods. Of you are looking for a soveneur, something so African ranging from clothes, through crafts shows, junglea jewelries, and art piece... Maasai market is a go to place. It's totally worth it. I recommend purchasing an item from this market for every first timer in Nairobi

What shouldve been a fun day unfortunately was ruined by a lot of people bothering you at once as soon as you entered the market. Wasn't a fun experience and you dont get a chance to breathe or enjoy what's there to offer. A tip, if leave customers alone to look at the items displayed theyre more likely to buy and come back. Better off going to the mall! EDIT: I was alone and even other tourists travelling alone were getting hassled. Please avoid unless you've booked with a personal guide from a tourist app

You can get good African art, clothing, wooden items, beaded items and many more items for personal use or gifting. Affordable prices that are also negotiable in the Kenyan spirit. Great place to shop. However, it's best to walk around first to see the items before purchasing from one stall

The markets would be nice if it weren't for the group of very pushy 'brokers' who follow you around insisting they work for the market and there to help before trying to charge truly outrageous prices. Security guards at a nearby bank even had to ask whether we were OK. Many items here can be purchased from at the airport for cheaper without the hassle.
