Great bakery and ice cream shop that is open from 8am until 11pm. We went twice, once in the afternoon for ice cream. They were creamy and had good flavor. They seemed small for the price though. The second visit was for breakfast. We had toast with jam, coffee and an apple pastry. All was fine, nothing special about the coffee and what can you say about toast with butter and jam! At 8.10am it was really busy and we had to wait for 10mins to prepare the toast. You need to have time and patience since it is such a popular cafe.

Deliciously rich and creamy gelato! The cone was also very crispy and tasty. We also tried the chocolate cake and it was heavenly! Can't wait to go back. Friendly service. Modern decor making the shop feel bright, clean and spacious.

By far the best ice cream I had in Portugal and in a whole time overall. What a steal. If you're around definitely stop by!

This bakery was recommended by one of the staff at our hotel and he stated this is “one of the best” in Portugal, especially for their Pastel de Nata, so I had to try. There is a plethora of pastries to choose from! Along with an order of the Pastel de Nata, I was told to try the Bolas de Berlim, like a custard filled donut of sorts. The woman at the counter was friendly and spoke English. Service is quick. The cafe itself is a pleasant spot to just hang out and people watch with lots of outdoor seating. This place definitely lives up to the hype and I would highly recommend stopping here for a sugary snack!

Excellent! The egg, almond and cinnamon croissant is delicious and goes so well with freshly squeezed orange juice.
