OK...
So I am local but first time I've been here for a light lunch with my mum after a little walk around the forest. Very welcoming, sat down in an empty room with tables and chairs. No windows open, today it's 23°.
On the website it says "muddy boots and bums welcome" the restaurant is posh and carpeted, I was in shorts and tshirt, completely out of place. Felt like commoners in a posh place.
Anyway, was too hot to sit inside so asked for outside seating, taken to the back area which was lovely and quiet. Had to put this heavy parasol up myself..
Waited around 25 mins for a baked potato and a sandwich. Half way through eating a dog comes over, doesn't bother me, we love dogs. BUT then decided to poo under our table. We told staff, they said it's their dog. We had to move tables obviously and no one cleaned up the mess.
Horrified.
Food was okay, nothing special.
