Maboneng has such a cool energy. It’s a bit gritty but that’s part of the charm. The street art is everywhere, so keep your camera ready. Sunday is definitely the best day to go for the market vibes. We grabbed food at a rooftop spot and the view of the city was stunning. Just be street smart and enjoy it.

Not that much interesting, especially comparing to a drive through the strict downtown section. But safe enough for a short walk.

A place where time seems to be still, you forget about the rest of tge world when you are at Bertrand Cafè. Everything is so well thought of, decòr, music, every wing speaks to a specific indivudual yet all so tued together in the most elegant maner. When more is more, I love the concept of maximalism that has harmony. Bertrand is more than a cafè restaurant, it's home and there is no place like home.

Old down town turned to a bee hive, always packed. Good chilling area, surrounded by sports bars amd braaing areas. Used to be feared area but now very safe, thanks to good policing

Unless there is something specific you want to go for, I do not recommend. We got dropped off, and then immediately booked a ride out. As we drove in and out, there were a few nicer pieces of artwork on the walls and a couple of restaurants or shops that seemed good. However, I would not say this is a nice place for tourists to walk around.
