We went here for our anniversary breakfast. My wife loves the mochi pancakes here. You get plenty of food for the price. The coffee was good here also for brewed.

Google
We came here for the bottomless mimosas but unfortunately there weren't any. Their website advertises then which is what got us in the door, then it was a disaster with nobody behind the bar, the hostess doing numerous jobs resulting in a long line and inefficient service. No drinks listed on the breakfast menu at all and no option for a breakfast cocktail. The food was good, i enjoyed my chicken and waffles. Our server was the saving grace as she was as attentive as she could be between tables. Very disappointing not only not being able to have bottomless mimosas but the inability to order a single mimosas or cocktail at all. Will not be back until there is more staff to better manage the demand and the online menu reflects reality within the restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mac 24/7 in Waikiki, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! We ordered the corned beef hash and steak breakfast, and both dishes were fantastic. The corned beef hash was perfectly seasoned and had that comforting, hearty flavor that you crave in a breakfast dish. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, complementing the meal beautifully. One standout item that I can't stop raving about is the papaya with lime. I had no idea how incredible this combination could be! The sweetness of the papaya paired with the zesty lime created a refreshing and vibrant flavor that completely elevated the dish. It was a surprising twist that I never knew I needed in my life. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal at any time of day. Overall, I highly recommend Mac 24/7 if you're in Waikiki—it's a breakfast lover's paradise!

Andrew helped me out and he was awesome. Super personable and the grilled cheese and soup was fire. Located in the Hilton Waikīkī.

Wanted to try here for breakfast as I seen the pancake challenge in the menu. I would've assumed the Pancakes were good. To be Honest? It's okay. Nothing extraordinary or exciting, just Pancakes. No distinctive flavor, nothing different from a regular diner. Everything we ordered, seem liked regular diner food, just with a slightly higher price tag. If you don't want to walk by near by establishments and want to stay in the hotel. I guess this place could work, if you're looking for a bite to eat. Just know you'll be paying for convenience.

Alright Food R.

Google
A nice place located in the Hilton if you’re looking to satisfy that diner type experience. The pancakes seemed to be the thing to get, ordered a stack. They were really good but be warned: they are huge. The pictures do not come close to depicting how big they actually are. Plus it’s an extra $5 for toppings. The fish tacos were actually outstanding and super tasty. Our waitress was awesome and so attentive. Overall a good experience but a bit overpriced.

Google
Food was good but staff needs more training. Skip the side fried rice. Ube Pancake was great.

Google
The breakfast was delicious, especially the pancakes with cream. However, there were a few things that were quite disappointing. First, the coffee tasted like chlorine. We couldn’t tell if it was the water quality or poorly rinsed cups, but the chlorine flavor was very strong, and we tried it in a few different cups. Additionally, the woman who greets guests was quite unpleasant. She really needs to adjust her attitude and manners, as this is not acceptable in customer service. She seemed irritated and unfriendly. When we asked if this was the breakfast area, as there were no clear signs, she replied, "This is the restaurant." When we asked where we could find breakfast, she said it was here and that she'd assign a table soon, all while rolling her eyes noticeably. This behavior is unacceptable in a customer service role. She continued to give unfriendly looks throughout our meal, making the experience uncomfortable. The waiter taking our orders, however, was a friendly and cheerful gentleman who helped improve our overall impression of the breakfast experience.

Yelp
What a treat! Our first breakfast in Honolulu- located in the hotel was delicious! They have a buffet but we chose to order from the menu - don't miss the spam and the fried rice! Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable! Would visit again

Yelp
Mac 24 I used to really enjoy MAC when it was actually a 24/7 restaurant. They're definitely going through some growing pains and trying to find a formula that works in this environment. I would definitely say they excel at breakfast and struggle with anything beyond that. In particular I found the pancakes to be outstanding. The eggs Benedict are usually good, too. I came for lunch and left disgusted. Soup of the day was clam chowder. Mostly just butter, flour, cream, tons of salt, some pieces of potato--But alas, no clams. It was so thick and gelatinous it made me laugh. Like a white bowl of jello. Moving on... You'd think fish tacos would be a no brainer here in Hawaii. Nope. These were a disaster. The fish was encased in a hard thick shell and fried until it was hard as a hockey puck. Tough, chewy, and difficult to eat. Extremely disappointing and unsatisfying. Ambiance is mixed. You either have a pleasant open airy view or a dated 50's style dark dungeon to choose from. A complete overhaul is needed to attract anyone outside of the hotel in my opinion. And if you want to be that 24/7 establishment, you need to attract outside customers. Instead of investing in new innovative menu items and market research for customer desires , they opted for silly little robots to deliver dishes to the table as the server follows slowly behind, or is actually waiting at the table for it to arrive. Never seen anything to ridiculous. A great example of misused technology, wasted capital, And a disservice to the great service staff they already have. Yes, the servers are the saving grace here. Always friendly and helpful. Invest in them! Sadly I wouldn't recommend at this time except for breakfast. I wish the excellent staff nothing but the best because they are what's keeping the doors open.

Yelp
What an amazing experience! The pancakes with strawberries are fantastic! Exactly as pancakes should be ! Fluffy and golden ! The coffee was also very good.

Yelp
Overpriced and underwhelming. The food is terrible and the service was very slow. $80 breakfast for two plates of nearly inedible food.

Yelp
It was a great end to our staycation in Waikiki. The food was plenty and ono and of course, had lots of extras to take home for later. Coffee was fresh. Our server was extremely nice & helpful. She was a pro at packing the extras and also gave me a fresh cup of coffee to go. Would recommend!

Yelp
Average food open 24/7. The edamame with ginger with fantastic. Rest of the food - just okay. The fish & chips was wahoo fish and served with winder (curly) fries.

Yelp
M.A.C. 24/7 is a mixed bag y'all. At least that was my experience. The Bad: it's hot as hell, both at the host stand and in the first dining section where my party was seated. No air flow at all. Not exactly ideal in a climate that was incredibly humid the entire length of my visit. We had to ask for water, which was refilled sparingly by dumping more ice on top, instead of any actual liquid. The service was abysmal. The host and our server were cold and unfriendly and put off the vibe that we were taking up their time.... by eating at their restaurant? Our server followed the food delivery robot to the tables around us and deposited the plates, asked if they needed anything else, but was nowhere to be found when it came to our table. In fact, several staff walked right on by while the robot shouted at us that our food had arrived. We ended up just grabbing them ourselves just to shut it up. The Good: goddamn the food was good! The ube pancakes were perfection! The sauce was so dark and luscious I wish I could've taken a gallon of it home with me. The Hawaiian Style Eggs Benedict is hella filling, you could easily split it between two people! The sriracha hollandaise really sets it off too. The coffee cups are big and they leave the carafe on your table. Would I return? Probably not. Those ube pancakes are THAT good that I'd definitely consider it.

Yelp
We are at the pool. Friendly and quick service. Good burger, great Caesar salad, best onion rings I've had in a looong time. The mai tai did its job and had me tipsy after drinking 1/2 of it. Yummy

Yelp
How does a restaurant room service mess up breakfast room service so bad- truly ruined my vacation. The first time that they arrived, the milk that I required was missing. They brought up the milk and after they left I realized I had no silverware so had to call down again. So they bring me silverware of knife and fork- no spoon for my oatmeal. i had to call them AGAIN and they brought a spoon but by this time oatmeal was cold I had ordered the healthy oatmeal w flax- the new batch was brown sugar and bananas- NOT what i ordered. I finally went downstairs myself to get my food right and the manager asked what did I want him to do that? He's already given me a free meal. I said give me back the hour and a half that I went without eating that I needed to show some respect and some concern for the terrible customer service I received with him as manager. All the ladies who work there are lovely, but this guy was the worst. He did take this off my bill, but I thought that they could've gotten the extra step by actually being apologetic and getting me the items that I had actually ordered within the first two tries. I will never order from this place again. Hawaii is a once in a lifetime experience and this manager ruined my day.

Yelp
Pretty decent. Service: 5/5. Yoon was so sweet and funny. Food: 5/5. I got Fresh Picked pancakes ($22) with an upgrade to mochi pancakes ($2? $4? See photo. Bait and switch on the price. I would've disputed, but the person paying didn't feel like it.) SOOOO good tho. I've never heard of mochi pancakes before. They were chewy, didn't get soggy like normal pancakes. Extremely generous amount of Chantilly whipped cream and fresh fruit (pineapple, orange slices, banana, strawberry, blueberry). I'm a big eater, and even with me eating my fill and 2 other people picking off my plate, I still left some of it behind. Def recommend sharing with a friend! Drinks: 1/5. Don't get espresso here. Cappuccino and latte were terrible. They don't have an actual espresso machine, only a Nescafe. I took 1 sip of the cappuccino and abandoned it. When I told Yoon it was terrible, she got me a replacement from the coffee shop next door. MAC 24/7 really should just partner up with them and get all their espresso drinks from there.

Yelp
I had the chance to dine at M A C 24/7, two times during my recent stay at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. I visited once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both times, I sat at the counter. I had excellent service from the bartender/server at the counter both times, who was very pleasant and talkative. For lunch, I had the Kalua Pork Quesadilla and an Iced Tea, which was excellent. For breakfast, I had the Stuffed French Toast with a side of Spam, also very good. I would say the prices are good for the portions served and considering the location. Overall, it was a nice place, clean, bright and friendly. The only issue, is that for people sitting at tables they use a robot for delivery, which on one hand is very nice and convenient; however, if the server is busy --- you just sit there and stare at your food, as you are supposed to wait until the server shows up to retrieve it from the robot. That part is a little awkward.

Yelp
Had the M.A.C aloha moco, it was delicious! The service was fast and great. I got there exactly at 6:00am and I was sat down with in 2 mins. Quick service and I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Delicious mochi pancakes ($8 as a side) and loco mocos ($21)! Located within walking distance from the beach and most hotels.

Yelp
Reservations for 2 at MAC 24/7 for our late anniversary and long due date night LOL ;) It was a nice drive down through town to Waikiki as there was not a lot of traffic but the parking took a bit long but it was okay. The hostess, server, Buffett servers and manager were really great and friendly. They had a seafood chowder but I couldn't eat it as I'm too sensitive with salmon but one of the Buffett server was so thoughtful enough to get me tomato bisque soup in place and we were so pleased. We ate really good - crab legs, prime rib, different types of dishes, salad/poke/sashimi and deserts. They were really busy and we know why. We were blessed for a wonderful night and want to thank you to our loved ones for always thinking of us. Thank you again and again! Also, a huge Mahalo to MAC 24/7, we enjoyed ourselves!

Yelp
We dined here a couple times for breakfast and dinner during our stay here and the food never disappoints! You get a really nice view of the garden/gazebo area and lots of booths and tvs! Shoutout to Mona for being a fantastic server! We've stayed here last year and recognized her from last time! She is really good at remembering our orders by memory and always gives us good recommendations about where to go and where to find hidden gems! Thank you for making our experience eating here enjoyable!

Yelp
Bartender was nice and makes great drinks. Quick and attentive to everyone. I didn't take drink pictures but I got the lychee daiquiri and it was good so I got another happy hour 2-5

Yelp
There was no wait, the service wasn't bad. So that was good but I didn't know they stopped serving certain breakfast items at 11. We got there at 1115 and I couldn't get my omelette. Kind of the only reason I chose that location to dine. However, since we were already there and sitting, I didn't want to be rude and leave. We ordered mostly "favorites" thinking it must be really good.. sadly, it wasn't and the food took long to come out.. The kalbi is way too sauced, my son didn't care for it. The katsu was way overcooked, The corn beef wasn't anything special either, he said the spam was weird. I think out of my husband's plate, only the egg was good. He didn't like the fried rice. The Oreo pancakes were good, said my daughter. I enjoyed the chicken salad. Can't say that we will be back though for the price versus the quality.

Yelp
We arrived to find out that the restaurant had actually closed down, which was very disappointing since we made a reservation through OpenTable and weren't notified. When we walked in, we were told to go to the bar to order, then seat ourselves. There was only one waitress who seemed completely overwhelmed, and the food prep area was covered by a curtain, which didn't feel very professional. The space was extremely hot with no airflow, and the menu was very limited with hardly any choices. We decided to leave without eating. This restaurant system really needs to be updated or shut down on OpenTable so customers aren't misled.
google avatar

Yelp
Gary was super friendly. They were serving a lovely buffet but it was just too much. We grabbed a burger and fish and chips off an abbreviated menu. Tasty, fries were curls and tasty. Quick, diner like experience though they have a cool robot bring the food to the table! We'll venture out but if you're looking to stay in at the Hilton it's fine!
google avatar

Xin L.

Yelp
My friend brought me here for my birthday. She said when her and her husband stayed and dined, they really enjoyed their meal(s). The restaurant is semi hidden within the Hilton, and upon arrival, you're supposed to seat yourself. We did awkwardly stand around for a while (although there was a sign in front), till a waitress told us to do so. After sitting we were provided menus and then waters. We got: - Mixed Plate (With Huli Huli Chicken and Spicy Ahi): My friend got this but I got to try it. It's nothing special but everyone was executed well. The chicken was more like shoyu/teriyaki chicken. If you've ever had huli huli chicken, this does NOT taste like it. - Fish & Chips: This was decent. I was just craving fish and chips for no reason, but to be honest, half way into eating it, it was getting tired of the one dimensional taste. There was 4 fish sticks/filets, they're fried decently well and crispy. The crust was pretty much separated from the fish but I think that may be intentional? The fries were also one dimensional, just tasted like fried potato. The coleslaw had pineapple in it which was a surprising twist. The condiments like hot sauce and ketchup helped saved it (combined with tartare sauce). I would say their portions are definitely decent, especially for being in waikiki. I personally wouldn't come back again, just as there are so many similar/exact alternatives within the couple of blocks radius.

Yelp
Haven't been here since 2019 but they should rename to MAC 16/7. The pandemic is over I remember this was the place to go after a night out and satisfied that drunken hunger. Miss that vibe.

Yelp
This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel and serves standard American fare. I would characterize this restaurant and food experience as a step above a diner, but not quite fine dining. Everything is done with attention to detail, but like an elevated mom and pop establishment. The menu is overpriced, and we only choose to eat here since we had a Food and Beverage credit (and other resort credits) to utilize. The cocktails were a decently large size and felt measured in terms of flavor components and alcohol level. Not particularly strong but they were tasty. The dishes we had were all good! The filet mignon was cooked to order, and the fries were golden and crispy. The truffle horseradish mayo tasted homemade and paired nicely with the fries (and steak). The Caesar salad had some interesting tropical flavors and used whole romaine lettuce leaves. I appreciated the slices of baked parmesan in the salad that gave a sharp contrast of flavor. We were served by Gary, who was a delight to interact with. All of the staff were professional and courteous and we were attended to multiple times throughout our time there. The place had kind of an upscale diner vibe, and it was very clean and well lit. There were plenty of tables, even a circle table for a larger party, and a separate room for an even larger group. The dishes are brought out on a table with wheels for an impressive presentation. This place does the job for a hotel restaurant and would do fine for business dinners if you have the budget. There are also not too many restaurant options in this area, so I can see why one may want to eat here if you are staying in the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel.

Yelp
awwww. Took my wife here for their special Valentines buffet. While I did love being with my wife (any time is GREAT), this buffer was weird and not in a good way. First off our server was really, really good. Right from the start she provided excellent service. But when the buffet started, things got weird. Our server showed us that the buffet was split into two parts. One part is mainly salad/sashimi and mains. But there's another room that had a roast pig, prime rib, the "sushi" that they don't usually have and crab! I mainly came for the crab and we headed for that room. Almost immediately someone working for the hotel, "redirected" us to the other side - trying to tell us we made a mistake in going there first. Not understanding, I went with it and got sashimi and some salad. I asked our server, and she said she didn't understand why he redirected us. OK Now I was irritated. I went there for crab and I was going to get it. I walked right into the room and started getting crab. Well, I tell you, this part was weird. There were a number of servers just standing around and making comments about me grabbing crab. YES, I love crab and I will go back multiple times because this is a buffet! Every time I went, they made comments like "wow, getting more?". "Oh look at the crab". You know what? Leave me alone to eat! Now let's get to the even more weird part. Even though the pig was under a heating lamp, both the pig and the prime rib was just barely lukewarm. The prime rib was really rare. I guess I am the type that doesn't like a lot of blood all over my dish. To make it worse it was lukewarm. Yuck. The special sushi was basically a maki sushi roll that you can buy from a local store. It wasn't sushi, sushi. Then when I went back to the sashimi, they didn't refill and all you had was the sashimi that no one wanted. (Some kind of white fish). I'm glad I was one of the first to get ahi and salmon. The rest of the mains were typical buffet stuff - dried out fish, teriyaki chicken, noodles, the typical low end borderline buffet. The desserts were pretty good though. I sadly would not recommend this buffet. Overpriced and weird.

Yelp
Great spot to stop at for American breakfast such as eggs, pancakes, bacon etc. it has a diner atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and our waitress was super nice and service was quick. They even have a robot come bring the food with the waitress . It was super cool!
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
This restaurant is inside the Hilton Waikiki Resort and Spa. It's has a casual American diner look, a view of the garden, and friendly staff. Gluten free diners will enjoy the mochi pancakes - they are soft, fluffy and customizable with any pancake option on the menu. Wait times for your food can take more than quite a while if you're not super early, so make sure you plan your day accordingly!
google avatar

Brendan L.

Yelp
This was the first time I have eaten here in many years. The place was clean and about half full. The food was decent. I had crab cake Benedict. The English muffins were over toasted. It seems like they are operating on a skeleton crew, but the food came out at a decent time. Our waitress was very busy serving 10 tables. Only 2 waitresses and one host on a Sunday morning in Waikiki. If management is reading this, please hire more staff!

Princess D.

Yelp
Horrible service the servers are incredibly rude horrible service and they made a huge problem about the breakfast Buffett choice it's not worth it the food is horrible and stale . Wouldn't come here . Won't ever be here save your money they are so rude the only bad experience I've experienced in my vacation here .

Yelp
Delicious food all day long!! We came here for breakfast and dinner! It was delicious and the service was great. It has a very laid back feel and nice scenery of the nearby garden area. It was easy for us since we stayed at this hotel but I would definitely go back! Check them out!

Yelp
Cool experience to have the challenge wheeled out and have the option of different topping on the challenge! My brother got about 75% down and I got about 50% down. Maybe I should rethink my strategy. I would definitely come back for a normal portion next time!!

Yelp
Wait time was minimal 15 min to be seated. After being seated was another 10-15 min before server came to table to take orders. Drinks & food came out in decent amount of time. One of us ordered the crab cake Benedict $24. The portion size was generous. It had an off putting sweet taste of imitation crab meat. The waiter confirmed with kitchen that it's a mix of real crab & imitation. She sent plate back. He left table with dish. 10 min later he came back asked if she wanted order anything else she declined. I had the Hawaiian Kine pancakes with Mac nuts, haupia & pineapple. Portion was huge! Had a nice flavor. The crispy breakfast potatoes were liked by all. We were not offered refills on any of our drinks. Never asked how the meal was. The bill was $113 for 4 minus the crab cake Benedict they did take off bill. Was not a horrible experience but would not plan to return.

Yelp
Actually was really good. I went 3 time while in Hawai'i for breakfast only. All the cocktails were good. The pancake options were really good! Also, instead of bacon/sausage, I recommend the Korean BBQ ribs. It's a great add to your breakfast. The drinks are good, too. Con: it's pretty overpriced.

Yelp
I made reservations for me and my friends for my boozy birthday brunch on 8/25/24. We were pleasantly surprised when we got seated in a semi private room Connie was our waitress and she took care of us and especially me by refilling my mimosa throughout our meal. I had 5 and was feeling good The food was delicious! I was craving for really good country fried steak and Mac 24/7 didn't disappoint! And the kalbi was tender and scrumptious Thank you Connie for taking care of me and my friends during my boozy birthday brunch. Thank you Mac 24/7 for the amazing food and drinks.

Yelp
Sunday brunch here was great when I was back here. Mimosas are made strong and the pancakes are always good. Definitely worth a try if you're staying at the Hilton or just craving pancakes and mimosas!

Yelp
We were having a staycation for my daughter's birthday and decided to check this place out. We came for breakfast. We made a reservation and were seated right away. My kids thought the robot servers were really cool! Mac and cheese is only available for their lunch menu, but they went above and beyond and made it for my daughter, even though they were still on breakfast service. The restaurant was super spacious and clean and the service was friendly. We thought the food was really good too! Five stars.

Yelp
I was excited for the weekend seafood buffet. It was $80 per person and the crab legs were severely overcooked. It's like they warmed them up from the night before or just left them cooking for hours. The meat inside was brown. I thought maybe it was just a bad batch, so I waited for other people to eat until they brought out fresh ones. More of the same over-cooked crab legs. I decided to try the seafood chowder. Taste was fine, but the meat in the chowder was entirely imitation crab meat and tiny bits of shrimp. I really really wanted to like it. The sides were good. Fresh fruit was nice, but the seafood was not good. The service, on the other hand, was great! Very attentive and friendly, but also way understaffed. It was one server for about 40 people. Overall, I guess I just expected more for an $80 seafood buffet in Hawaii.

Yelp
Okay, I was looking for a quick breakfast before work and I stumbled upon MAC 24/7 in the Hilton. The service is all aloha, such amazingly kind and happy workers, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It kind of feels like an ihop inside, but you'll find the best Hawaiian breakfast in Waikiki here. Day one I got the mochi pancakes and day two I got the Island breakfast, both were filling and super tasty. Next time in Oahu, I'll come back here for every breakfast.
google avatar

Tammy E.

Yelp
Huge selection here! Despite their name, they are not open 24/7. However, they have mouthwatering menu items that you will crave 24/7! My favorite dishes were the catch of the day (swordfish!) and the mochi pancakes! I phoned my orders in here and nothing took more than 25 minutes. Order pickups were easy and they always included utensils and napkins. A great restaurant to have inside this unassuming hotel! Service was great by Blake and the gals at the hostess stand taking phone orders. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Food was okay. Service was really slow. Just a regular diner , nothing fancy to eat or drink

My Husband and I both ordered the prime rib. It was sooo excellent! We were delightfully surprised! We both ordered medium rare, it was seasoned perfectly. Can't say enough about how much we loved it. The mashed potatoes were superb, steamed veggies excellent. The restaurant was very clean and the service was quick. Our food came out within a few minutes of ordering, we started with the Caesar salad. Dressing was perfect., just enough. Our servers Gary and Elaine were friendly and great. We ordered the chicken and waffles to go and sampled it when we got home. Fabulous! An overall five star experience and we will be back, our compliments to chef Joel! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
I stayed in the Hilton and this restaurant was located downstairs. Each time I got on the elevator, I could smell the food cooking. I decided to try a local classic the Loco Moco which is a great meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I ordered in the restaurant and took the food to go. I really enjoyed this staple of Hawaii and the gravy was perfect.

Yelp
When I lived in Waikiki. This was my favorite place to dine late at night 5 years later it's still here! Breakfast all day, full bar. Upscale diner food. Tonight I had the portobello burgers. The best one I have ever had. Layered with grilled onions, fresh avocado, Bermuda onions tomato, bread and butter pickles and lettuce. The bread was grilled. The wily fries were crispy. I ate at the bar. Bartender was great. The atmosphere is modern diner with booths and and fun counter bar.

Yelp
I've been discovering that not all of Waikiki is hella expensive...well, maybe except for the parking, and even this wasn't that bad = $8.00. First, the parking situation. I always come to Yelp to look for parking information. Most people come for the food information. I come looking for the parking information. I am not sure why that is so important to me as I don't mind walking, but I like to know what I'm getting myself into, and if I need to bring an umbrella or tazer or mace or something similar. Normally I am a cheapskate. I will park and walk for free. I hate spending money on parking. On any good-weathered day (or night if you're brave), you can park along Kapiolani Park and walk to Mac 24/7 on Kuhio, but it was storming and raining on this day, and I had to valet park, which is the only option here at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. It's $3.00 validation for the first 3 hours, then the rate is $47.00 after that. This was told to me by the manager after I asked about it. Ridiculous. Must eat and get the heck out! We were at a private party and it rolled past the three-hour mark so the manager said he'd sign our cards, he'd make this one exception just for us. At the valet claim, the valet guys said, nah, don't worry, as long as it's validated. I tipped them $5.00 so that made it $8.00. The $3 validation price is added to your food bill. Now the food. HUGE PORTIONS for Waikiki. Fish and chips so large I had to get a take out container (additional $1.68 for the container). My friend had a fried fish sandwich that was so HUGE she couldn't wrap her mouth around it (ha ha). It looked like they fried a whole side of fish in batter and plopped it down on the bread. Both our meals were $22 a piece, a pretty good steal for Waikiki. I was told that this place appealed to locals because the portions were large. The Fish and Chips came with some unmemorable slaw, good thick curl-shaped fries and juicy fish. The problem with the fish was that it was somewhat undercooked inside, which wasn't a problem since I brought it home and nuked it to perfection. I hear this place serves breakfast all day, must try that next time. Return factor - YES. will get the fish and chips again for sure, and next time, well-done.

Yelp
So there are four ways to get food from MAC-- order from your room for pick up/to-go, order for in room dining, dining in the restaurant, or ordering in person at the restaurant to-go. Just a warning that the menus are not the same, nor are the prices. I'd expect a fee for room service, and I'd expect some items to not be available to go, but the differences here are not what you'd expect. Add to it, the staff didn't seem to care about the differences. I tried to place an order to go and when I pointed out both the price and item difference, the hostess basically doubled down on her position, didn't offer to get a manager or try to understand the situation. I left without food; the hotel front desk didn't seem terribly interested in fixing the disconnect either. There are literally hundred of hotel dining options within walking distance; I'd pass on this place.

Yelp
We liked the diner so much, we ate here twice! Both times had the turkey avocado bacon sandwich with winder fries. So much bacon and fries were the best ever - you won't want to share them! Service was great. Pleasant, helpful, and just nice. Easily 5 stars - doesn't have to be fancy. Very Good food, good price, great service'

Yelp
Our server was very homely and sweet. Felt like getting served by mom/grandma. It was slow at the time so the chef even came out to say hi. Food was solid for breakfast foods. The cinnamon butter made it for me. It gave the buttermilk pancakes a nice sweet treat feel. Ambiance is an upscale diner. The standard seating side looks like a boujee dennys, on the opposite side of the restaurant they seat the buffet goers. The buffet side ambiance is closer to Ruth's Chris vibe than a Denny's vibe Overall great experience

Yelp
My experience was nice, it was fairly slow so service was very attentive and food came out fast. Even though Breakfast was ending in 10 minutes, our waitress said that there would be more than willing to serve us breakfast. I had the poke nachos and the mocha Loco period The local Moco Was delicious exclamation point The Poké nachos were full of flavor and the sauce was to die for. The only reason for my 3-star rating is that the Poke nachos were $25 and the serving was pretty small. Overall the menu is a little bit on the higher side, but Hawaiian General can be kind of expensive.

Yelp
So this ain't my first time here and we love coming here but feels like something changed! Or is it just me?!?! Anyways wife and I are staying in the area and stopped in for breakfast. Hostess greeted us but then had to go see about something and I lack patience so it seemed like forever that she was gone, came back to get us and seated us with breakfast menu and I was like ok the still got my favorite "country fried steak" but a minute later she says sorry I gave you the wrong menu! I was bummed because the chicken fried steak is not on the lunch menu and not part of the all day breakfast but the hostess checked with the kitchen and they said they would honor it been that we were about five minutes out from serving breakfast. So thank you for that! Portion size looks smaller than I remember but it's everything nowadays lol! Wife had the Kalua quesadilla but she scrapped off the sauce because it was SUPER SALTY. I even tried it and it was really salty! Other than that still great ambience and it's very clean!
