Macau exceeded my expectations with its seamless mix of heritage and modernity. Whether you’re drawn to history, food, or luxury, there’s something for everyone. It’s a city that left me with unforgettable memories, and I would love to visit again.

This country captured our hearts. We’ll definitely come back.

Macau is a special administrative region (SAR) of China, located on the southern coast of China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. It is known for its vibrant mix of Chinese and Portuguese cultures, as well as its world-famous casinos and resorts. Here are some of the most interesting things to do in Macau: • Visit the Ruins of St. Paul's. This iconic landmark is the facade of a 17th-century church that was destroyed by fire in 1835. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Macau, and offers stunning views of the city. • Gondola ride at The Venetian Macao. This world-famous casino resort has its own canals and gondolas, just like Venice. Take a ride and enjoy the romantic atmosphere. • Try your luck at the casinos. Macau is known as the "Las Vegas of Asia," and its casinos are some of the largest and most luxurious in the world. Even if you're not a gambler, it's worth a visit to see the opulent surroundings. • Visit the Macau Tower. This 338-meter-tall tower offers panoramic views of Macau and the surrounding area. You can also take a thrilling Skywalk or bungy jump from the tower. • Explore the historic center of Macau. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to many well-preserved colonial buildings, as well as temples, churches, and museums. • Visit A-Ma Temple. This is the oldest temple in Macau, and is dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu. The Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal and the SkyPier at Hong Kong International Airport are among the many ferry terminals in Hong Kong. The ferry journey takes approximately an hour. 2/ Travelers have the option to take a high-speed train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou to Zhuhai, then switch to a bus or taxi to reach Macau. I went to Macao to see the old part of Macao and it had so much to see in terms of historical Portuguese content. It would be best to have an itinerary for your trip because there is lots to see.

It's almost like I'm in Portugal, Lisbon.. Wonderful old place with narrow cobbled streets and shops, restaurants... city sights, museums and of course casinos.

Macau is called Las Vegas of Asia. It is mainly known as casino, but it is not true. Macau has lots of beautiful places to visit. Macau tower, Portuguese complexes, ancient churches, Chinese temple as well as old town. You can spend an entire day in Macau. If you are in Hongkong, you can take a ferry and go Macau, ferries run every hour.

Not suitable if you have kids touring the City. Ambience feels off, it's as if the locals don't like tourists. 😅
