I went to Macao to see the old part of Macao and it had so much to see in terms of historical Portuguese content. It would be best to have an itinerary for your trip because there is lots to see.

Previously a colony of Portugal, now taken over by the mainland Chinese, providing them with numerous gambling casinos. If you like gambling, you will probably enjoy Macau, but apart from that it's worth 2 or 3 days visit with a number of tourist attractions. Good for photographers. Some interesting landmarks and a couple of (free entry!) museums.
