We have been coming to this place for the past couple of years and it never disappoints. Over the years they have always maintained a high level of quality. The food is always fresh, made to perfection and has everything that you expect from a professionally made steak. The staff are polite and friendly. We are very happy with our experience and definitely come back again. Highly recommended to everyone else.

The food was amazing. Andy the owner got us a table for 6 when it was a full restaurant with a line. I love the concept of seeing your steak before choosing what you want. Service was so fast and the taste was amazing. We loved the steak, chicken pasta, and sweet potato wedges. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Von. He was hands-down the best waiter we’ve had in a long time—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Von anticipated our needs, explained the menu perfectly, and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive. His positive energy and professionalism truly elevated the entire meal. On top of that, the food was outstanding. Everything came out fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the kitchen and the overall dining experience. Between the incredible food and Von’s exceptional service, this place truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Von as our waiter again!

The burgers are also a highlight, with fresh brioche buns and beautifully seasoned patties that make every bite satisfying. Pair it with their crispy fries and a craft beer or glass of red, and you’ve got a meal that’s both hearty and refined. What really stands out is the atmosphere: casual yet stylish, perfect for a quick bite or a laid-back dinner with friends. Macelleria Bondi manages to combine the quality of a premium steakhouse with the welcoming vibe of a local favourite. A must-visit spot in Bondi for meat lovers!

If you're looking for a post-swim feast or just an awesome steak experience, my tip is to head to Macelleria. We had lunch yesterday and it was terrific. Steak was flawless, perfectly seared crust, tender inside. For sides, we had the broccoli, roasted veges, and sweet potato fries. Great beer too. Location is unbeatable, right across from Bondi Beach. Service was quick, Georgina and Andy were great. I'd give it six if I could… heading back Monday for more - everything coming out of the kitchen looked perfect.

Came here on Christmas- food was great and the service felt like we were taken care of while it was super busy. Hands down, no problems on those parts. Atmosphere-wise, it was a little cramped with how the tables were arranged when trying to fit into a seat and everything felt a bit too busy (which is somewhat understandable as it is a public holiday.) The design of the restaurant outside of the butcher area and the open kitchen doesn't leave much of an impression- everything was maybe a bit dim for me, personally, but not that bad overall. Price-wise, you're probably going to be spending $40 at minimum, which is decent for steak and a side.

Had a few great burgers here for lunch and I can honestly say they were delicious. The beef patties were high quality and super tasty! It's the first time I have finished a whole burger in a long time!! Would highly recommend and next time coming for a steak or two!

Absolutely fantastic steakhouse! Perfectly cooked steaks, juicy burgers, and top-tier schnitzels. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully served. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, making the whole experience relaxed and memorable. Highly recommended!
