They have some good vegetarian options like the gnocchi and the staff are very kind and attentive. The dishes were very unique and very flavorful. Visited on a weeknight and was the place was populated mostly by work dinners, so my group and I felt a bit out of place. Very beautiful restaurant AND they have an entire book of wines❤️

love the baby squid n cream brulee!! main was nice too but I was aiming french cuisine... hahahahaha the source on the veggie is a bit strange to me

A tendon choice by a friend in Paris who was looking for a restaurant with vegetarian options - and he did well. Walk through the gardens of Palais Royale to get to this charming restaurant that boasts while washed walls embellished with panelling. It has a feel of period yet modern grandeur. The menu boats a selection of meat fish and veggie options and as you would expect a grand wine list. My veloute of leeks followed by gnocchi with mushrooms were divine. I went for the cheese rather than pudding and I’m glad I did. They even offer a ‘prix fixe’ for lunch and dinner are good value.

A really touching dining experience for me. I booked a 9:30 p.m. slot, but got stuck in Paris traffic and didn't reach until 9:55 (Kitchen closes at 10) One of the managers (not sure if he was the owner) instantly acknowledged my booking. He had even read my dietary request that I had submitted just an hour ago (Me & my wife are non-imposing vegetarians). It feels really great when restaurants hear the voice of customers. Since the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, he quickly recommended we order the 2 vegetarian dishes and shortlist a dessert. I seriously thought we would be driven away but got a very personalized experience Food was really delicious and so was the dessert. Thank you once again and really sorry about pushing the team a bit extra by unwantingly arriving super late!! They also have a huge wine collection and the place looks beautiful

Google
We had a delightful dinner consuming the pea veloute, lamb, and pork. The dishes were excellently prepared. The dining room was very comfortable, quiet, and tables were well spaced allowing easy conversation. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A very pleasant evening. We go back again soon.

Google
A very nice restaurant. The set menu is reasonably priced and the wine selection is quite good. Service was great and the place's decor and ambiance are very pleasing. The food is hit and miss. The beef tartare was not great while other dishes were really nice. I guess try to stick to seafood and fish here.

My children invited us for an anniversary dinner at this restaurant, which also serves vegetarian dishes. The restaurant interior is impressive and has been set up with sufficient space between the tables. Also, the service by the sommelier and the waiters is impeccable. Another strong point from this restaurant is that the dishes are all nicely presented in an arty way. After all these well-deserved assessments, unfortunately, also some critical notes. The starters that we ordered were nicely presented and tasted reasonable, although a bit bland for our taste. This was a good start of the evening. However, as a main course for the vegetarians, we choose their pumpkin soup with special panis bread. The portion of soup served, which tasted good, was even not of that of a starter and completely inadequate to be considered a main course. In addition, the piece of special bread was undigestable, and we left that on the plate. The food ordered by the others, see photos, was also too small in portion, bland of taste and unimaginative. For a restaurant of this calubre, we expected larger portions and better main vegetarian dishes. The dessert of pears and cream was nicely presented and tasted good as well as their cheese and the creme brulee. Luckily, this was a good finish of our dinner. Overall, it was quite a mixed rating of this restaurant that, in my opinion, has a lot of potential. Once better, vegetarian dishes are added to the menu in appropriate enteee size.

Google
One of the most beautiful and delightful bar/ wine bar in Paris (I did not have a full meal, so could not review the food of the restaurant). The wine is amazing and the sommelier (Adrian) is beyond knowledgeable and kind. The wine selection by the glass is unique and delicious. Apart from a bar and restaurant, they are also a wine shop where they sell the wine by the bottles too! Try to come if you visit Paris :))

Yelp
Cute restaurant with great food. Came here for lunch with a friend & we got the 3 course menu, €38 (at the time of writing) for starter, main, & dessert. All of the food was great, my friend got the vegetarian options & she was happy with hers. The food is also nicely presented. It's a big space, & nicely decorated. I am hoping to host a holiday lunch here next year!

Yelp
This place is definitely a wonderful French dining experience. It's one of the few in Paris that caters to vegetarians as well. We had a three course menu and my favorite was the appetizer. The orange and Burrata salad with capers and bread were amazing. Nice bite and the Burrata was super creamy. The dessert was also a high note because the sorbet had a bite of mint in it. Very refreshing. The main course was a bit small and the falafel a bit dry. But overall, we enjoyed the experience. Note, the restaurant is very cute but has no AC. The waiters are attentive and kind. We had a wine pairing that was delicious.

Yelp
Yum! A 3-course meal for 40 Euros, you can't go wrong. Service is attentive, not necessarily friendly, but it was good enough. Every single course was absolutely perfect, and I added a 4th course, because, who knows when I'll be back in France!! Also added wine with each course (the dessert wine bottle is missing), soo much fun tasting magnificent French wine at great prices. Walked out at 4-courses, 4-glasses of wine, and espresso for $120 -- this is a great deal. So the food stuff, started with an amuse bouche soup shooter, tasted both hearty and light. Small delicate artichoke cups to follow, a very memorable dish as I don't recall ever having artichokes that were this good before. This was followed by a plate of yummy buttery chanterelles. For my main, a tajine filled with wonderful vegetables. Finished with what tasted like a creamsicle, vanilla ice cream and tasty strips of orange. Surprised this restaurant is Michelin recommended, it deserves a star.

Yelp
Phenomenal restaurant and wait staff! Again, this place was on the Michelin Guide and within walking distance to our hotel. The staff spoke perfect English and explained the menu to us since it was in French. For our starters, my wife ordered the foie gras based on our experience in Prague. This was nothing of the sort! For one, it was cold and it looked more like a loaf than what are previous experience entailed. We did not enjoy it, but we ate it nonetheless. As for me, I ordered the beet ravioli and it was good, but again cold which was unexpected. For the main I went with the duck and man did it knock my socks off. Perfectly cooked to a medium and the sauce with it was amazing! As for my wife she ordered the poached cod and she really enjoyed it. It was very moist, with juice racing to the top as she stuck her fork in. For dessert I ordered a millefeuille and she ordered chocolate ganache. Both were a good way to end the night!

Yelp
Mediocre food served at exorbitant prices. €135/person for 4 tiny dishes. We've had better experiences for half that price.

Yelp
The food is fantastic. If you are in Paris, I would totally recommend it. Pls make that reservation !

Yelp
Maceo was 1 of the Paris-vegetarian-friendly options we had read about as we were researching good eats for our weekend getaway & we ended up w/ another nice evening in the City of Lights Started with the carpaccio of figs with citrus salad - carpaccio seems to be the buzzword of the season as every restaurant we visited had a carpaccio of some sort & we were really intrigued by the figs.......they were very tender & soaked up the vinaigrette very well Risotto w Spinach & Mushrooms - the risotto wasn't as creamy as other risottos we've had & the rice grains were very discernible. I gave my spinach to the Mr & was able to enjoy the mushrooms Caramelized Peaches with vanilla semolina cake - loved the peach & the cake resembled an American pound cake Overall, this was a good meal. Not the best we've ever had but certainly not the worst - we might check around for other options first but would come back & to me, that all equals a big A-OK

Yelp
As a vegetarian who is dating a carnivore, I was looking for a place where we could both eat well for a fairly reasonable price- Maceo came up time and again on various websites and didn't disappoint. Their nightly menu is €40 for 3 courses (plus a amuse) - you get to select what you want and each course had multiple vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly and all spoke English. The space is inviting and elegant without feeling stuffy. Their sommelier recommended an excellent bottle of wine, which exactly matches the taste I was going for and wasn't ridiculously expensive. My boyfriend was just as happy with his steak as I was with my vegetables... everything was tasty and nicely plated. If you have a vegetarian as a dining companion, this is certainly a spot where there's something for everyone.

Yelp
This was a fantastic place with real vegetarian options. Very reasonably priced--the dinner menu is only 40 euro, which is practically a steal for the quality. Service is pretty good. Portion size is on the smaller end, but it's all very good food, and I didn't leave unsatisfied. Wine was very reasonably priced, and I was very happy with the bottle I got. Really, the big draw is that it's a very fine example of a restaurant in the "fine dining, 50-100/head" range, in Paris, that a vegetarian can eat at. Several other options I checked did not have real vegetarian options, and we had to nix them. Can't say anything bad about the place, they gave me a fantastic evening out!

Yelp
I am sad to give Maceo a 3.5 because I had high hopes for it. It was supposed to be our Paris fine dining experience, but honestly the atmosphere made me a little jumpy. I thought the food was very delicious, but not so much more than any of the more affordable restaurants we visited in Paris. Worth a stop by if you have any vegetarians in your group or want to try a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris.

Yelp
Wonderful! Such a great experience. Started with champagne, then the mushroom starter which was amazing. The lamb chops were amazing as well and we had several desserts. The service was impeccable. They have vegetarian options as well. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
***this review is for Paris Ramen Week at Maceo, which is not their regular menu*** The space is big and open and the servers are attentive and good. Our food was served in a really timely manner, even though it was a single course "restaurant week" menu. There was a huge line outside and a great "tasting" and knowledge room upstairs for us while we waited for our table. Will definitely return, given the reviews for this place.
google avatar

Yelp
Meh all around. Cool that they have veg options (coming from a veg), but not worth going out of your way for. Served the wrong dishes more than once. Poured our own (66€) wine. Ran out of water. For this price point, service should have been much better. Skip. *edit: downgraded to two stars because I just watched the server unwrap and cut cheeses for the cheese plate at the bar and we have now been waiting for our check for 30 minutes.

Yelp
I was shocked at the gap between the reviews and the quality of the food. This would not fly as good vegetarian food--or just good food--in any U.S. city. After the amuse bouche, the flavors were very dull. I normally love anything with mushrooms, but even the mushroom dishes (replete with chanterelles and oyster mushrooms) were lackluster. I did not think the desserts were well balanced either. My citrus dessert had one note and some grainy shortbread. The service was fine, but we will not be coming back. I would've been more satisfied with a savory crepe and cheap bottle of wine somewhere else.

Yelp
This was a wonderful surprise for us during our trip to Paris. The online menu looked good so we booked a reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, found a totally different menu which was as good or better than the online menu. Turns out that the chef makes a new menu everyday depending on what he finds in the market that he likes. Found the food as good any restaurant we visited including some Michellin star restaurant. The decour was very rustic as it was a house converted to a restaurant. We loved the experience and would highly recommend coming here as long as you are willing to be a little flexible with what you may find.

Yelp
I was so excited to come here, and ended up being disappointed. Rushed service, meager portions, a separate section for English speakers with no white linen, made this an overcharged and undervalued restaurant experience. The lamb was good but the portion was too small and the meal was not warm enough. The egg was not warm at all. They regularly brought me the wrong dish or gave me and my dining partners each other's dishes. The pacing of the wine pours was quite off as well. The wine was very good, and the dessert was excellent, thus the three stars. I expected a better dining experience from a top 10 listed restaurant in Paris. *update* Waiting about 45 minutes for our bill at this time. Really disappointed and frustrated with this restaurant.

Yelp
Macéo was such a delightful surprise! It wasn't even on my radar, until the concierge at my hotel offered to make me a reservation here when a vegan restaurant I had wanted to try wasn't open that evening. I couldn't believe I was going to have dinner at an authentic French restaurant, and that they're happy to accommodate vegans! This place is nice, so be sure to dress the part. We started off with chardonnay which was just delicious. Then we were offered an amuse-bouche, cream of asparagus soup. In horrible, sad, pathetic high school French, I think I stated, "This is milk," but had enough of a confused look on my face to insinuate that I was asking, "Does this have milk in it?" The waiter laughed kindly and responded in English, "No, there's no dairy." It's like they knew I was coming, which is possible that the concierge might've mentioned something, but I was taken by surprise and totally delighted. It was delicious, by the way. I'm not entirely sure of what I ate for dinner, and judging by their latest menu, it seems to have changed already. What you need to know is that they list the vegetarian options (on our menu, there were two choices), but you need to ask which is vegan or can be made vegan. I only had one option, but it was thankfully delicious. It was mostly mushrooms, but really fancy mushrooms perfectly cooked, and served on a bed of warm cooked grains that were creamy. I loved every bite. There was nothing vegan on the menu for dessert, but there was an ice cream dish covered in fruit that they offered me, without the ice cream. I excepted it to be boring but it was really nice! It was really good fruit, like figs, with a sweet sauce drizzled on top. Not mind blowing, but it was so sweet of them to offer to accommodate me, I couldn't resist. If you're a vegan or a vegetarian worried about eating in a French restaurant, this is the one to go to. They have plenty of non-veg offerings, making it the best choice for a nice meal if you're dining with meat eaters. In Paris, Macéo is one of a kind!

Yelp
Amazing dinner! I chose this restaurant for our first night out in Paris and I was amazed. Since you arrive everyone is so friendly, the owner himself is there, the maitre and all the staff. The place is beautiful, the tables are fully spaced and the food is delicious!

Yelp
Great restaurant. The food is seasonal - so, it's possible that the food you order will be the same as mine. Still, chances are you won't go wrong. You choose from a la carte or price-fixed menu (basically choose from column A - appetizer -, column B - entree -, and column C -dessert). I would recommend the price-fixed menu, since much of the food is the same and it's cheaper that way. Anyway, I tried the seared bream (fish), veal carpaccio, and some pear + ice cream dessert (40 euros). My wife had a goat cheese snap, risotto, and a cherry tart dessert (35.5 euros). The quality was excellent! To be honest, my experience with French food is negligible, but this restaurant convinced me of how good it can be! A tad on the pricey side, especially with the current exchange rate, but I figured I would splurge a bit on vacation. Service was great. Friendly people and all spoke English, in case that concerns you. We're not big wine drinkers, so I can't speak to that. I hear they have a decent selection though.

Yelp
Tasty food in a nice setting, but overpriced and poor service. Ate at Maceo on a Wednesday night - tried to get Thurs or Friday but they were booked already, so it seems to be a popular place. I'll admit the food was good - it just isn't worth what they're charging. The dining room is nice, and upscale without being stuffy, perhaps what the Brits might term "smart." Even at full capacity, it wasn't too loud, and it had a good mix of different sized tables for couples or groups. The service was consistently slow, which was particularly annoying as we came in quite hungry and ready to order (and eat). Not only were they slow in taking and bringing our orders, but they had sat us right next to a table where they stage the bread for the dining room, so we had to look at it longingly while we politely waited about 20 minutes for them to bring some the 5 feet over for us to take the edge off our hunger. In a sort of farce of a true fine dining experience, there was an amuse bouche which was just a short glass of puréed watermelon with what was supposedly a few star anise seeds tossed in (it was actually fennel, but whatever). My first course was a foie gras, which was quite good - but this is Paris and you're charging 25 euros, it better be good. We next had a plate of vegetables for 23 euros, which again were good, but for 23 euros I'm expecting some really special frickin vegetables, either that or a huge portion, and this was neither of those things. My main course was a rack of lamb, which was well-cooked and well-seasoned, no complaints there. In summary, this place obviously has some talent in the kitchen, and a well-designed front of the house, but not worth a trip given all the other options in this city.

Yelp
Taken here for my birthday treat, I paid though! Lovely surroundings, service excellent. Choice of food from either 3 fixed price menus or a la carte. I went from a la carte and chose lobster bisque with "surprise" (their words) lobster ravioli followed by organic beef With bone marrow diced vegetables and creamy polenta and then a chocolate fondant with aniseed pineapple syrup.... Mmm All good but in hindsight should have gone with a fixed price as most of menu on those. Wine choice very wide went with a Marsannay from recommendation of the sommelier

Yelp
I booked our table at Maceo months ago after reading on Paris by Mouth that it was a good choice for vegetarians. I had a friend visiting, who, unlike the carnivorous household in which I reside, dislikes meat and doesn't think bacon goes with everything (weird I know, still each to their own ;)). Our excitement was slightly dampened when a fellow foodie reported back to say that they had not enjoyed Maceo as much as they had expected and had found it a bit stuffy. We forged ahead all the same, the appeal of the vegetarian tasting menu too strong for my friend after a week of living on nothing but cheese and bread - being a vegetarian in France is tough! I'm glad we did, as Maceo turned out to be lovely. A charming ground floor dining room (with slightly less appealing room upstairs) welcomed us in from the unrepentant rain. The warm red tones felt most inviting from the outside and the artsy lamps and sculptures, and little mezzanine-come-library make it feel like someone's home. It felt high end but slightly more casual than I was expecting - little things like the uncovered chairs, and varying sizes and shapes of table, gave it a more laid back atmosphere. The food turned out to be delicious too, and although there was no vegetarian tasting menu, there were two starters and two mains on the menu designated 'V' (V is for Venus at Maceo, and Mars for dishes containing meat - draw from that whatever gender conclusions you wish!). We ordered from the Prix Fix tasting menu (2 courses for 30 EUR, 3 for 39 EUR) and found it to be mostly delicious. All the dishes were very seasonal and I have to say the prices, especially given the quality of the food, were very reasonable. The highlights were the carpaccio of cepes as a starter and quinoa risotto with beets and goats cheese. The pear poached in cassis for dessert was pretty damn good, as was the cinnamon and speculaas ice cream served with another dessert. Some people have commented on the service but we found it to be pleasant and efficient, and they even have English menus if you are concerned about ordering in French. All in all a lovely dinner and I would definitely go back.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place! Coming from someone who knows foods and works in the restaurant industry in San Francisco, this is a top notch restaurant in terms of food, ambiance, and service. All the dishes were prepared well and seasoned correctly, there are a ton of veg options (a main reason why we went here), there is a huge wine list w fair prices, and the decor is a fun art deco/modern Egyptian sort of vibe. I would recommend looking nice when dining here, as it is a nice restaurant and some Americans were wearing their day clothes and walking shoes, which was not appropriate and showed them to be bad ambassadors for our country (people- you're in Paris, France not Texas). For two people who had the pre fixe menu (there are two options, one 45€ and one 39€), and a bottle of Sancerre, it was about 130€. Not bad for an upscale dinner!

Yelp
This is an excellent Restaurant. Adrian, one of the owners, gave us outstanding service. Not only does he speak English and French fluently, but he has a wonderful personality and is an extremely nice and friendly person with a great sense of humor. We went there twice during our brief stay because of Adrian's excellent service and the great food. :)

Yelp
I'll start with the positives: Service. Plating. Desserts. Service was one of the better I've experienced in Paris. No haughty attitude. Also, the waiter didn't sneer when I asked for an English menu, which they didn't have (despite it being available online), and even took the time to verbally go over each item with us in English. Five marks for service! Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of French food (pastries and desserts aside, of course), but I loved the idea of this place, because I consider myself a flexitarian who happened to also be dining with a vegetarian in a non-vegetarian-friendly country. The restaurant was walking distance from where we were staying, and the food looked good in picture presentation. Unfortunately, that's where it ended. Like classic French dishes, the plating was really something! The taste, however, was underwhelming...or over-salted. Ordered pretty much all the vegetarian items. The appetizers were so-so and lacked any real flavor. The main dishes--cabbage rolls and quinoa salad--were polar opposites of one another. The quinoa was so over-salted, it was hard to eat, whereas the cabbage rolls lacked any flavor at all. Fortunately, dessert was the redeeming meal. The clementine macaron was hard to eat but very good. I will say, though, the clementines were not in season, as it was a little too hard and too tart. Also ordered their dessert of the day, which was a pear tart with their vanilla rum ice cream. The ice cream was something special! Didn't taste the rum, but a fragrant aroma that was indistinguishable other than being really, really darn good. Before the start of the meal, though, we also received a complimentary butternut squash soup in a teeny cup, which was a nice starter. The price was okay. About €30 for 3 courses during lunch. We were also the only tourists in the place, so it seemed authentic. Wine prices, however, seemed a little high. Ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc. It was a very European pour (20% shy of an American pour) for €7, but no pressure from the wait staff if I wanted to pass. So overall, while the food fell flat, the service was exemplary. I might give them another shot the next time in Paris, but my suggestion is to visit them for lunch instead if you are venturing to this area.

Yelp
I treated myself to delicious meal at this lovely restaurant my last night I was in Paris. What a treat! The ambiance and decor is charming. The wait staf was very attentive. The menu was interesting and reflective of a "farm to table" sensibility. Also, there are quite a number of vegetarian options, which is a big plus. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience in Paris!

Ann K.

Yelp
We've been in Paris for two weeks and this is the best dinner we have had during our time here. As Californians we really appreciated the emphasis on seasonal vegetables. The tangine with autumn vegetables was perfect and my daughter loved the ravioli with smoked tofu. I also really enjoyed the lentils with poached egg and lardons. This had a really nice smoky flavor. Wait staff was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back here.
google avatar

Ellis A.

Yelp
They make vegetables taste like heaven. Amazing presentation and service!

Shiv P.

Yelp
Being a vegetarian visiting Paris for the past couple days, I finally felt like I tried Parisian cuisine! I started with a poached egg over lentils which was perfect. The flavors were outstanding. I then had a roasted beet risotto, which was very unique and very delicious! It wasn't saturated with cream and butter like other risottos I've tasted, but rather had more flavor and depth. My boyfriend ordered foie gras and a beef dish and he also thoroughly enjoyed his meal. Our desserts were decadent! The presentation, atmosphere, and dining experience as a whole was wonderful! And you just can't beat the price for the tasting menu! So glad we researched this place before our trip :-) Would definitely recommend it to all on the fence!

Annemarie C.

Yelp
We booked this place because the reviews were so good and we had only 2 nights in Paris - and because we needed veg options. The food was good but not great and came out warm vs hot. More troubling was the service: we felt rushed but waited quite some time for the check. We poured our own wine. And there was a clear division between those of us seated in the front/bar section vs the back, where the tables are covered in white linen table cloths. The price (40 euro for the prixe fixe, for example) was high given the substandard service. Sadly disappointing.
google avatar

Melissa K.

Yelp
4.5 I really like this place. The only thing that is an issue is the price. It's not somewhere you can go out on a regular night because it is too far above regularly night prices. 39€ for a 3-course meal, plus wine (which is not cheap, average bottle around 35-40€) puts it over regular night cost IMO. But, if you're looking for a nice place that serves creative and good food, then it's an excellent option. The most attractive part about this restaurant for me is that it is incredibly vegetarian/vegan friendly. They have veg options for each course that are clearly labeled. And you don't feel like you're being shafted when you compare your dish to that of your meat eating meal companions. This is a go-to choice for me when friends are visiting from out of town and want to have a good French meal. It's not touristy and feels very authentic. Classy atmosphere and competent, respectful service. My guess is that they get the majority of their business at lunch time based on location. I've only ever been for dinner and it has never been full. Regardless, it's probably a good idea to make a reservation. They also have a large upstairs dining room that accommodates parties and such.

Yelp
This was our big dinner at the end of a visit to Paris in March 2011. I was able to make a reservation online. Our vegetarian was happy to have le menu vert. Service was close to impeccable and the food delicious. Merci!

Shivani V.

Yelp
Disappointed! It is a very touristy restaurant. Hardy any locals and after my dinner tonight I understand why! I have had better vegetarian food in Paris. To top it all, I called in advance to make it a special evening as we were celebrating a bday. They charged me extra for a simple candle and some horrible flowers! Won't be recommending this restaurant for sure!!

Patrick D.

Yelp
Vegans and vegetarians looking for a delicious, reasonably priced Parisian dining experience look no further. Great service and the food was magnificent. Quinoa salad was flavored impeccably. Definitely would come again.

Isaac s.

Yelp
Like most yelpers, we were drawn to Maceo's veg-friendly reputation (which is well-deserved with several vegetarian entrees and mains). While the risotto was passable, all other dishes were disappointing: butternut squash so undercooked we wondered if it was a mistake; a farmhouse egg that tasted like it was flavored with "smoke" and served on unappetizing grey mushroom goop; lackluster fish. Decor and service felt as outdated as the dishes. Seek out newer veg options in Paris!

Yelp
One of my current faves in Paris. Great, inventive seasonal prix fixed menus. I once had their tomato menu, which included a dessert with green tomato (it was great!). The wines are fabulous and the waiters and wine steward are generally wonderful. Some are more friendly and relaxed than others, but all are very professional and polite. Staff is French but the owner is a flamboyant Englishman, Mark Williamson. One of the best values in the city, although not cheap. You can get a GREAT bottle of wine for a mere 30-35 euros here. The five course prix-fix is not much more, although you can also order a la carte. They also have a vegetarian prix-fixed menu as well.

Seamus R.

Yelp
Excellent restaurant with a classy but relaxed feel to the main dining room. Good value for the quality of food and service. We made a reservation a day or two in advance when we were there last September. My wife and I are ovo-lacto vegetarian and we had several options to choose from. We went with the pre-fixe menu and had the risotto. They have a nice wine selection too, had a delicious Maconnais Chardonnay to go with it. I liked it a lot and would go back again.

I enjoyed Macéo with my fiancée for Le Saint-Sylvestre (New Year's Eve). So I can only speak to that special menu, but I would say bravo several times over. It was a perfect meal. Wonderful atmosphere, well-timed service, wonderful hosts and servers. We were even seated by the proprietor. I would go back here again and again. Go to Macéo!
