The Centara Collection, Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives

Overall, an amazing experience from start to finish. This was an incredibly beautiful and memorable trip, and I would definitely return to this resort.||We visited in September, just my wife and I, and the weather was good. The food was amazing — from the buffets to the Italian and Thai restaurants. ||The staff were exceptionally friendly, and their personal touches throughout our stay made it even more memorable. We mentioned that it was our anniversary, and they surprised us by decorating our bed, leaving a bottle of wine and desserts in the room. Walking in that night felt so special — a truly unforgettable moment.||This was my wife’s first scuba diving experience, and the diving instructor Joe was perfect. His friendliness and professionalism made her feel completely comfortable and confident on her first dive. They have all the gear for rent, paddle boats, kayaks etc. and the snorkeling gear is free. Yoki helped us a lot with the equipment and we had a lot of fun at the ocean. ||The island itself is breathtaking — it’s surrounded by coral reefs teeming with marine life. You can simply snorkel anywhere around the island and see beautiful fish and other sea creatures all around you.||Chef Pradeep personally talked to us about our food preferences which was nice. He also packed us lunch/snacks to enjoy later in the day during our flight transfer — another thoughtful detail which made us feel at home. ||All these little touches combined to make this a truly extraordinary and memorable vacation.

Fantastic stay, thanks to the wonderful team! We stayed at Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa and were absolutely delighted! The island itself is like a postcard: white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and a stunning house reef where we saw turtles and countless tropical fish every day. The villas are spacious and comfortable, and the service is top-notch. A very special thank you to Chris and Aikhan – their kindness, attention, and warm attitude truly made our stay unforgettable. With people like them, you feel not just like a guest, but like a valued friend. The food was excellent: the freshest seafood, a variety of international dishes, and always plenty of tropical fruits. The spa was pure bliss and the perfect place to relax. Machchafushi is not just about the beauty of the Maldives, but also about the feeling of home and care. We left with a touch of sadness but also with the certainty that we will definitely return. Thank you to the entire team for such an unforgettable stay! 🌴💙

Beautiful resort. |Excellent weather for September. |We stayed for 5 nights / all inclusive package in overwater villa nr 75. The spacious villa, italian / thai a'la carte and reef buffet restaurants, Coral bar, shark feeding, crystal clear water and smiling staff made our holiday memorable. Excellent customer service, staff anticipating customer needs and being proactive rather then reactive. Our favourite was the Italian restaurant. All our feedbacks were taken on board by the resort manager.|Thank you all.

Amazing resort and staff! We had such a beautiful experience during our stay! The staffs and the manager were very kind and they made sure our stay will be one that we will never forget! Our over water villa was so spacious and beautifully decorated! Delicious foods! Thai and Italian restaurants , Indian foods. A variety for everyone. Cristal waters and amazing views from any sides of the resort. You can walk around the beach and see the amazing turquoise waters. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The swimming pool was beautiful and really enjoyable, and I especially loved the reef with all the colorful fish. The water was crystal clear, easy to access, and full of marine life right away, with a nice depth for swimming and snorkeling. The food was also very tasty, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was sunny, beautiful, and relaxing. What made the experience even better was the incredibly friendly and positive staff — especially the bartender at the pool bar, who was always cheerful and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Love everything about this place - for us its paradise 🏝️♥️ We will absolutely come back again (and have been here before...🙏🏼) The very best service and the sweetest and attentive staff, we had the pleasure of many😄🙏🏼 but a very special thanks to: Resident Manager Mr. Nalin dropping by almost every morning, at our breakfast in "The Club" to say good morning and we had a cozy chat. He was very attentive and we are sure that he took great part of making our vacation unforgettable🙏🏼🫶🏼 F & B Manager Mr. Shervin who fixed everything for us regarding the food and restaurants and took very good care of us the whole stay of 11 days🙏🏼 We enjoyed every time he dropped by for a nice chat and a good laugh.🙃😁 Mr. Jambe our very best House keeper who took so good care of us in the villa, and made everything perfect.🙏🏼The most beautiful animals on the bed, made from towels, palm leafs and flowers.🙏🏼🌺 Mr. Rishard in "the Club" made every morning and breakfast very special. Super good service.🙏🏼Always kind and with a big smile. Just simply making everything possible, whether it was for the breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or drinks delivered to the the room. Ms. Merymil & Mr. Ashik & from Mare Azzuro made every lunch and dinner we had with them, a very nice experience with excellent service, good moods and kind smiles. We had an unforgettable stay at this Maldivian resort! Everything was perfect — from the stunning beauty of the island and the lush nature surrounding it to the wide range of activities like snorkeling and diving that kept us entertained every day. The food in all the restaurants was excellent, offering something for every taste, from delicious European dishes to flavorful Asian cuisine. But what truly made our vacation special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. A special mention goes to Samsul from room service, who surprised us each evening with lovely good-night decorations made of flowers and handmade toys for our kids — such a heartwarming touch! Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

We had such an amazing time at this resort — everything from the warm welcome to the little details made our stay truly special. A very big compliment to Chef Giuseppe: not only was the food consistently delicious and beautifully presented, but he went above and beyond to make us feel at home. His friendliness and genuine passion for what he does really came through every day — it was a highlight of our trip. We would also like to thank Richard and the F&B Manager for always being so kind, attentive, and professional. They were constantly smiling, checking in to make sure we were comfortable, and creating such a positive atmosphere in the restaurants. It really made a difference and elevated our experience. The combination of stunning surroundings, great food, and truly wonderful people made this stay unforgettable. We left with such good memories and can’t wait to return!
