Stopped by for some drinks to go. There’s a few tables and chairs for seating inside. The lady who helped us was friendly and our orders didn’t take long. Had the chocolate crème brûlée drink and she did confirm that their default milk is lactose free which is a plus. It had a nice flavour to it, and I liked the custard component.

Google
Omg disgusting!!!! We ordered 5 drinks and waited almost 45 minutes, afterwards I realized there were MULTIPLE dead flies/bugs floating around inside. See picture. My friend’s drink bottles weren’t clear so who knows what they were drinking. Feel so sick now 🤮🤮 avoid!!!

Google
I order 4 mochi matcha, I already note 4 drinks no redbean, but they still put it in, also packaging so messy, please read the note when u do the drink, we pay for it not free

I recently visited this milk tea shop and had a great experience! The place was cozy and clean, with a nice atmosphere to relax or hang out with friends. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with pearls, and it was delicious – not too sweet, and the tapioca pearls were soft and chewy. The staff were friendly and quick to serve, and the menu had a good variety of drinks

Google
Nothing special. I strawberry coconut and asked if there’s anything else in it. When she asked how much sugar, she then mentioned they add sugar. Not really sure what’s in the drink. They scooped what they needed then disappeared behind the curtain to make it. I

Google
Machi do about nothing. Got the mochi black tea with cream foam and mini taro balls. Except for the weird mochi on a stick that congealed and was almost like marshmallows, the rest of the drink - from tea to foam to add ins - was pretty standard. Overall ok, but not unlike so many bubble tea spots in the city.

Google
Absolutely love Machi Machi! Their Gold Pearl Black Milk Tea is my all-time favorite. I keep coming back just for this drink. Highly recommend if you’re a bubble tea lover!

Google
This cashier at front desk is rudest I have ever came across. No manner , rude, disrespectful and angry bird sitting at the front. This is my first time and will be last time as well. The girl in the back who is keep making bubble tea is very friendly and trying to accommodate with me . Thank you for the girl who sit in the back making all bubble tea

Yelp
The staff is nice . The drinks are good. I got the Black Milk Tea with Crème Brûlée, and it was smooth, slightly sweet, and the brûlée cream on top was amazing.

Yelp
My favourite Green Milk Tea in the city! I always order 30% sweet (definitely still sweet, trust me). It's consistently well done and added with the pearls and taro balls, *chefs kiss* I like trying their new drinks as well! Machi Machi is continuously coming out with new collections and drinks to try and they're always fresh and fun to try. Something I absolutely love is their mochi that comes with some of the drinks. It's always a chewy, yummy snack and such a unique twist to the average bubble tea experience. This Yonge Street location is best for bubble tea To Go as they don't have good seating or space to hang out. Their service is also meant to be quick and efficient to get customers in and out of the store. They're not very friendly or attentive in my experience.

Yelp
My friend and I both ordered the Mango Yakult Green Tea drink. We were both happy that we didn't pick the grapefruit version or it'll be too sour. Our drinks were perfect, although I would have preferred less ice (the ice level was pre-set for this drink and couldn't be changed). There were small mango chunks and they tasted fresh.

Yelp
We were recommended here by local family and it was absolutely delicious. The first time, I ordered a matcha latte with bruleed cream foam. The latte was perfect and not too sweet (I ordered lightly sweet) and the foam was so yummy with the little bits of brulee. Second time, I got a mango grapefruit smoothie with cream foam and that also was delicious. Again, not too sweet and tasted fresh. Love this spot, wish we had one where I live.

Yelp
the vibe here is adorable! I love the photo opportunities are so cute and I love the aesthetic. I tried some smoothies, I really enjoyed the coconut lime strawberry with 30% sugar more than the mango coconut , which surprised me. I definitely recommend their cute drinks!

Yelp
I'm quite surprised by the low rating, since this was probably some of the best boba I've had! My friends from Canada recommended this spot quite a few times, and I finally got the chance to try it. Since it was my first time I opted for something more classic, and got the jasmine green milk tea with mini taro balls. The tea flavor was strong and the drink wasn't too sweet. The taro balls were also super chewy and it was such a balanced and refreshing drink! Loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
I really enjoyed their mango series, particularly their mango passion fruit with cream foam. It was refreshing, and the jelly was a nice touch. Their tea was brewed stronger than I expected (which is great) and their Golden pearls were sweet as they should be! I would like to come back again and try more of the teas and unique drink series!

Yelp
I like Machi Machi. The only other other location I've been to is the new one in Koreantown, Manhattan. I know this is a chain and the locations aren't too different. The interior of this one is similar, small with not much seating. They have a bench behind the ordering counter that was closed off due to Covid, I'm assuming. I ordered two drinks and they were ready within minutes. The Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta is my favorite. The Strawberry Slush was decent but didn't have as much flavor (I got no added sugar, but I was hoping for a bit more natural strawberry flavor regardless). Machi Machi is fun and trendy. I recommend trying them at least once to see if it's your style.
google avatar

Yelp
Located inside the ground floor of Eaton center, Machi Machi is a new bbt place that opened up. I've seen them on IG with the cute bottle designs, but not all of the drinks come with that. No room for seating as it's more of a grab and go place. Both hot and cold drinks come in paper cups (whereas usually at other places only hot drinks come with paper cups). Tapioca is actually quite nice and has a good chew but is not completely soft like other hand made tapioca places. Service was quick as well, but I did go during working hours on a weekday.

Yelp
The spot is really cute - super aesthetic interior and decor. The bottles are really nice as well and the drinks are pretty. The staff are great too! I got the strawberry latte with panna cotta and the black milk tea with panna cotta. Strawberry latte with panna cotta: it tastes like when you are trying to make a strawberry smoothie but run out of strawberries and opt for water/ice, jam, and sugar. There were small ice chunks which I didn't mind. It tasted okay but for the price, I was expecting something better and different. The panna cotta was really good though! Black milk tea with panna cotta: not very sweet at all, almost bitter like. Not my taste though when it comes to milk tea - but it was okay. Again, the panna cotta was really good! Heard a lot of good things about machi machi, so I'll try to check out these drinks from other locations.

Yelp
Very cute store! I love that they decorated the interior for those IG pics! I saw an ad for the creme brûlée bubble tea and thought, hey that's unique! So I had to head downtown and give it a try. I was not disappointed. Right at the top of the creme brûlée drink was your typical creme brûlée surface. I had to use my straw to break apart the sugar. Inside the drink, you taste the creme brûlée bits all throughout and I truly was not disappointed. I forgot to take a picture of the top of the creme brûlée but believe me, it's just as you would imagine it! As well, I had to get their bottled drinks. Each bottled drink features a cute rectangular bottle. I tried the matcha and panna cotta. You have to place your straw at the bottom to reach the panna cotta. It was definitely a unique taste and different compared to your traditional tapioca or jellies. 10/10 would come again

Yelp
I only tried it once in New York and I'm very happy to find it in Toronto. The store is cute and small. Their tea flavor is pretty strong, especially with the panna cotta. The only downside is the drink is a bit pricey. I also got our drink pretty fast after ordering also. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I don't really get the hype with machi machi, I tried the bottled milk tea with Pana cotta since I always see it being sold out. Being priced at $9 dollars after tax, I am disappointed to say it wasn't worth it AT ALL. The milk tea is literally just mediocre milk tea and the Pana cotta is nothing special either. You're literally paying for a small portioned small plastic bottle. If the bottle was glass or reusable, I'd understand why it could be 9 dollars. But I just can not justify spending 9 dollar on this. My friend got the strawberry one and again it's nothing special, it actually kinda tasted like strawberry water. Overall, nothing special, don't think it's a place on the top of my come back again list. The store is really cute, I'll give them that.
google avatar

Lily Z.

Yelp
The menu is super diverse with unique items but overall a little pricey :/ The decor is really nice for photo ops but not a ton of space to hangout so definitely more of a grab and go place
google avatar

Jessica Y.

Yelp
There was so much hype when it launched and there is always a long line up. Walking pass by while waiting for my pizza to be ready, I decided to step in when there wasn't any line. A play of words are sewn on the wall ' I live you so Machi'. Cute and also kawaii decorations and colours. But I'm more a classic simple bubble milk tea kinda girl. This place seems too fanciful in terms of their milk tea concoction that it got me staring 10 minutes into the menu and still didn't know what to order. My boyfriend just said. get the simplest ...and that is exactly what I did. Creme Brulee Milk Tea..walked away and didn't know what the hype is, perhaps for others it's the interesting mix and innovativeness in a bubble tea they can get. I think it was about too fanciful and pricier than the born that I am accustomed too. Nevertheless, I can now say.... At least I have tried.

Yelp
Their drinks are so cute but I'm very disappointed in the quality. I got the Mochi cream cap black tea and everything looked good but once I tried it, the taste was very stale. The 3 Mochi skewer was hard from being left out I suppose...the skin of the Mochi was no longer soft and moist with the ones nearer to the bottom being harder than the one at the very top (totally dried out)...and the soy bean powder that they used to sprinkle over the top of the cream cap also smelled/tasted stale. Some quality control is desperately needed. The price was pretty reasonable for now considering a small Deerioca from The Alley (literally just brown sugar tapioca and milk) is now $8 (pure robbery...) and this drink was around $6something so I would go back if the quality improves. Hopefully the next time I try something from here it will be fresh.

Yelp
I've been to the location up in Scarborough so this was my first visit to the downtown location. Drinks are hand crafted to order and tasty as always! Covid safety protocols are in place and the service was quick and friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute store! The prices are definitely very pricey for the drink you're getting. However, the aesthetic is very bright and clean, very trendy. The huge window facing the street helps a lot with the aesthetic, but the wooden tones that are used also keep this looking like a green enclave in the heart of Toronto. My drink was the strawberry latte panna cotta. It's like $8+ and comes in a tiny bottle. The panna cotta sets at the bottom so you really have to mix it to get it going. Either way, it's pretty delicious. Very fresh, they definitely use enough strawberries, and it's a delight. This drink was so good I got another one right after I chugged the first one. And then I chugged the second one too. The store has several photo spots too if you're into that which I am. I highly recommend. It's a cute datey place, but I wouldn't make it a regular thing only because the prices are sky-high.

Yelp
I tried the Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta and the Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta. This is now my new favourite drink! Who knew that the combination and panna cotta with milk tea would taste so good? It was creamy, sweet, and so so rich. I loved it. The bottle that they serve it in is super cute as well! You can definitely reuse it as a water bottle or something. I did take one star away because of the price. Although these drinks tasted amazing, I don't think that it is worth paying $8 for.

Muimui K.

Yelp
the best Taiwanese drink ever!! I always bought their Tea + Mini Taro Balls or Oolong Tea with Cream Foam
google avatar

Cecilia T.

Yelp
I don't even remember exactly what I had, but I think it was the creme brulee milk tea. I didn't add a topping because I remember thinking it was expensive enough as-is. From that one drink, I've concluded that Machi Machi is just another bbt joint for aesthetics and not for quality. The creme brulee was good and they gave you a lot of it, but the tea didn't have a lot of flavour. I usually get 30% sweet with other bbt shops, but the creme brulee took the sweetness over the top, so I would recommend adjusting sugar levels accordingly. Since my drink was sweeter than I normally take it, it also affected my enjoyment of the drink. Probably won't come back.
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
Don't let the aesthetics fool you Wanted to try the fizzy passion fruit green tea. But they apparantly don't allow you to add tapioca? And then wanted to try the wintermelon tea, but it's actually a slush? (Doesn't say it in the name) So we choose two alternatives: the milk tea with creme brûlée - this was super thick and too sweet even though I asked for less sugar it was like drinking an entire blended dessert . Pictured is the plum jasmine tea with jello. It was not good (I'm Chinese and like plum) and a total rip off for $8+
google avatar

Yelp
Coworkers wanted to try as they said it was opened by or related to Jay Chou. Something about a music video possibly, was not paying attention. One was willing to buy and deliver it to work so why not. The menu looked like it had a good variety of selections. Coworker ordered the drink in the bottle and it was not full to the top. For a $9 drink, at least fill it up. The rest was not that memorable, average tasting drinks that were priced above average. Simple cute packaging. Overall, the lineup is just a hype for the limited bottled drinks. The drinks are nothing special; there will not be a second visit.
google avatar

Munchie G.

Yelp
This place is super cute and loved their aesthetic. The shop is just a perfect place to take photos for your food blog hehe The staff was super helpful and friendly. We got our three orders pretty quick. The grapefruit was just ok didn't get much of a taste of the grapefruit but the strawberry Panna cotta tasted so delicious! I will have to come back and try more flavours for sure.

Leah A.

Yelp
I didn't know this place existed until my friends told me about it and dragged me into the place. Overall aesthetics are adorable, incredible decorations. But as for the drink, ehhhhhh..... The drink I got was the "Chocolate Latte with Panna Cotta". The drink had initially been $8.8, which is way too much for a medium-sized drink already, but I thought the bottle was cute, so I got it with a drink, which then became $9.94. The drink itself was a disappointment, with barely any sugar and a powdery texture. The Panna Cotta was good tho. Went for a one-time experience and the plastic bottle to reuse again, won't come back.
google avatar

Wei L.

Yelp
This store has the halo effect of Jay Chou, a very popular pop singer in China. I choose the same type as he likes. The taste is pretty good and I really like it! However, I paid almost 9 dollars for it. It's good for the fresh try but not regular visits.
google avatar

Tze L.

Yelp
Another long overdue review! I travelled to Toronto with my friend and passed by this cute store! Very aesthetic and the wall is definitely worth taking tons of pictures with your drinks or just in general! Theres not much sitting inside so I just grabbed it to go. Fresh Mixed Berry Slush with Cream Foam: Very refreshing drinks, can tell that they use fresh berry, I recommend drinking the cream foam and slush at the same time without using the straw, and then try it again mixing them well together, its very different even though its the same drink! The cream foam was very creamy with a hint of cheese flavour but goes well with the drinks surprisingly. Takeaway: - Drinks on the pricier side, not sure if the drinks itself worth this price - but the place is super cute though! - 50% sugar is already sweet enough!

Yelp
I'm sure you have already heard about the lineups, and they are true. We came here yesterday during Thanksgiving, and despite the store been opened for a bit now, there are still lineups. We waited around 30-40 mins in total from the lineup- receiving our drinks. A heads up is that they only sell 120 of the bottles drinks per day, so if you want the bottle, it's best to line up earlier before lunch. I believe there was also a one bottle per customer policy as our cashier was ensuring there were 3 of us when we ordered. The store interior is very cute as there's a lot of spots to take photos. There is a very small seating area so the chances are slim if you want to dine in with your beverage. We got their Black MT w/ Panna Cotta & Strawberry Latte w/ Panna Cotta. Each bottle is around $8, and despite the bottle looking cute, it's a bit expensive for just a plastic bottle in my opinion. The strawberry Latte tasted pretty good despite my speculations of mixing cheese in it. It's definitely different from the regular milk tea which is what I like. I might come back again in the future if the lineups go down, but for now, I'll just skip coming here.
google avatar

Cathy S.

Yelp
I have to update my rating because twice or 3 times now, I got food poisoning from their drinks. I love their drinks but I dont think i want to get sick from it.

Veronica Y.

Yelp
I waited at least 15 minutes for my drink order to be called, to find out it had been one of the drinks just sitting on the counter for like 5 minutes. Then I hear the worker call the number after mine so I went up and asked if my drink was ready. She acted like nothing happened and proceeds to call my number to my face ? Then threw the straw at the table with an attitude. Most certainly not coming back. They need better training for their workers and tell them not to throw random fits at customers.
google avatar

Yvonne Z.

Yelp
Sorry about rating it 1 out of 5. I ordered the signature " Black milk tea with creeme brulee" and I was disappointed. Too sweet( even if I chose no sugar but the brûlée on the top still too sweet to taste) The first few weeks there were so many people waiting outside which is crazy enough every time that I passed by. And I found that there were fewer and fewer people now.The day that I went is Tuesday at 14:00. I waited only 5min to get my term to order.
google avatar

Yelp
I made a trip to the area just to try this bubble tea shop. I first came across is watching J-Style Travels and a colleague told me it's the same Machi Machi as the one in Taiwan. They are known for their cheese foam drinks and since it was my first time visiting, I had to order something from their recommended menu. I ordered their Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta while my friend ordered the Black Milk Tea with Creme Brulee. The Strawberry Latte came in a cute bottle with the panna cotta sitting in the bottom. I really stirred up the drink before drinking it and loved it. I do not like super sugary drinks, so I was a little concerned when I was told the sugar level was fixed. It ended up being the perfect after dinner treat! My friend said her black milk tea with creme brulee was great too. She said there was actually tea flavour and wasn't too milky. Price point wise, the strawberry latte with panna cotta came up to just over $8, while the black milk tea with creme brulee was a little over $5. The one I ordered was a little steeper in price but is worth a try. I will definitely go back to this cute teashop to try their other drinks.
google avatar

Charles H.

Yelp
This place is super cute, from their signature bottled bubble tea with the dog sticker on it to the wall with the "I love so machi." text. You can see their branding is very consistent, down to the uniforms that the staff has to work. They also actually have a good amount of of drink options and ones I've tried all taste decent. However, it's largely not worth its price and you can tell most of their traction comes from its marketing and branding push. Overall, it's a great place for an instagram story. Worth trying maybe once or twice.
google avatar

Kate T.

Yelp
OK for a $10 drink I expected a freaking amazing drink. And it was. Hi they recommend the grapefruit slush!! there's fresh grapefruit icy slush on the top, chunks of grapefruit, and a yummy clear grapefruit jelly on the bottom! The whole thing was just a perfect sweetness so you could taste the fresh grapefruit, so refreshing! Would definitely go back for this.

Gina P.

Yelp
Saw this place on my Instagram a lot so I tried it while I was in the area. I got the black milk tea with panna cotta for $10 (little pricey). Honestly it tasted like any regular black milk tea that you could get at your local bubble tea shop. The only difference was the packaging which came in a cute bottle. The inside of the store was styled in a minimalistic and cute way. Very simple yet appealing with some wall art and it was ig picture friendly. Would I recommend? Sure!
google avatar

Maya L.

Yelp
Came here a second time after I was not able to get the bottled drink the first time around. My drink came with traditional black tea latte and pudding. The pudding was rich and creamy, quite different from what I was used to. The black tea latte was definitely one of the better milk teas I have tasted. The value however was not the greatest. The bottles came to around $9.25 after tax and the volume of the milk tea was around 75% of a regular cup. Will definitely be one of my go to bubble tea places in the area. Will likely get the regular drinks rather than the bottled drinks in the future.

Yelp
finally got to try out this popular Taiwanese tea shop near Wellesley TTC station. Their adorable bottle drinks only has a limited quantity of 120 daily, huge line-ups everyday. The bottles were already sold out within the first hour, so we got the cream brûlée tea latte instead. The thick torched layer of caramelized "custard-like" cream cheese goes well with the the milky black latte, got a bit too sweet after drinking tho. Definitely an instagrammable spot, and one of the CUTEST place ever to check out. But kind of overrated with the taste of their drinks, and drinks are really quite pricey Cream Brûlée Black Tea Latte
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
I love you so machi Fresh Strawberry Green Tea Slush with Cream Foam $5.90 4/5 Machi Machi is steps from Wellesley station and offers lots of drinks that often show up on Jay Chou's Instagram ...He inspired me to get this! The store is relatively small, with only 3 small tables and several benches for customers to sit, so it felt really cramped and uncomfortable to stay inside. The interior has several spots designed for us to take pictures, including the "I love you so machi" sign! The strawberry slush was actually really good - it tasted like real strawberry and the cream foam was milky with a very, very light cheese taste (I know I always emphasize "real strawberry", but some stores just don't do it right and their strawberry drinks end up tasting artificial). . One of their most popular drinks is the Panna Cotta series! They are usually limited to 200 bottles a day and sold out by 2pm. If you're planning to come here just for the Panna Cotta, I would definitely give Machi Machi a call to check on availability first before going!
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
Super cute new bbt chain that recently opened on the Yonge strip! We saw this chain throughout Asia and really wanted to try it but never had the chance. We ordered the Black Milk Tea with Panna Cotta and it came in a cute bottle. The drink was delicious. However, for $9 it's quite expensive for such a small drink.
google avatar

Coco N.

Yelp
Came here to tried since we were driving by the area. Their hours are short compares to other bbt shop (2pm-9pm). Went in to order and fell in love with their designs in their store. The music was loud and since COVID they had a plastic protector it between which made it hard for customers to order. The taste of the drink was great, the cheese foam and the tea blend in well together. Will try their other drinks next time.
google avatar

Ana Z.

Yelp
Came to try Machi during their grand opening event, and ended up waiting an hour and 40 minutes just to buy two bubble teas. I tried their signature strawberry Latte (their gimmick is that it's in a bottle) but honestly not much to write home about. I also tried the milk tea with Taro balls which was better but at the cost of the wait surely not worth. There are better options in the area.
google avatar

Tatiana W.

Yelp
I got the plum jasmine green tea & it was not only super cute and fun to drink but the taste was amazing! At the bottom is jelly and they offer you a straw to break the jelly & plum at the bottom. No sugar was even necessary as , as you break the plum it releases all its sweetness
google avatar

Jo N.

Yelp
Dropped by on a Friday, the wait was pretty long. It was about an hour wait to get to order. But drinks were served pretty fast after the order was made. Tried the black milk tea with panna cotta. I loved it. The panna cotta was creamy and rich. The flavour of it is a little different then other panna cottas. Definitely would recommend trying it. But maybe when the lines die down a bit though. Plus, the bottles cute !
google avatar

Kelly G.

Yelp
As a casual bubble tea consumer, the black milk tea panna cotta was definitely a treat worth trying. It was incredibly filling given how small the bottle seems to be, I would not plan to eat before nor after drinking this until an hour later. The line was really long when I went, and the design of the place was creatively done. It may be a bit too pricy but it's worth the first try.

Protorontonian C.

Yelp
I got the black tea with crème brûlée. It was basically just sweet tea with milk & sugar with a non-generous amount of crème brûlée on the top. And the crème brûlée wasn't anything special. The decor was modern, simple, cute & clean. The staff were friendly. Overall, I thought the tea was ok, but highly over-priced for me. For ~$6.70, I expect more. But I also think the store was a nice addition to Yonge Street which has become much more vibrant over the years.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
when it opened wait times used to be 60-70min which I waited twice because the drinks were that good. we always buy the same two drinks. I wish the plastic cup was a bit bigger or that a bigger size was offered too but its still so worth it specially with shorter cca 20min wait times now, they can be sold out of bottled drinks earlier though which they will announce on the door to save you the wait.

Yelp
After a month of Machi Machi opened, known as Jay Chou's favourite boba shop, I finally went to check it out. I didn't realized that Machi Machi took over the location space of Gong Cha until I went there. The line has died down but by the time I finished ordering, a line was forming to order and the pick up line took longer than expected. I ordered the Black MT w/ Panna Cotta while my friend got the Oolong MT. But for the price point of $8.10 for the bottled MT is a bit much but the taste of the MT is actually great because you can actually taste the tea flavour but I would recommend getting the boba not in the bottles because you have more boba in the cups (value for your money).

Yelp
Taste is good, but is too little, bubble disappear just saw too little milk tea...$8 for 1 bottle!just can order 1 bottle
