Macis Leipzig - Restaurant

Great food, the pasta was wow, and the meat was wow wow. Fine dining food in relaxed atmosphere, service top. Walk out of the center a few minutes and you can have an amazing meal.

Very nice biological restaurant in the centre of leipzig . The meals are somewhat traditional however they taste great. The wines are not natural but delicious. We really enjoyed our visit

Nice dining experience at Macis. Best is the access to great fresh and bio products from their store. Well selected and treated. Service is very good and dishes are beautiful and tasteful. Unfortunately the prices overall, from food to drinks and dessert, are outrageously high. This changes and influences the entire experience as you go through prices matchin Michelin-starred business, although not at all to that level.

I had the tuna tartare as an appetiser and the fried celery as main dish. In both cases I was very happy about the choice I made. Maybe prices are slightly high but that's justified by the quality of the ingredients used by the Chef. Excellent and friendly service.

The quality and the preparation of the food was amazing. However, the service was odd. First, the online table booking did not work, so I wrote a mail. Not on the Website, nor per Mail, was I informed about a time limitation. Just right the location they told us, that we need to leave around 19:45. However, in the end, around 18h, we finally got our desert and suddenly at 19:15 the waitress put the invoice on the table while we were eating. At the end it was very stressful and we felt extremly unwelcome. Really a shame, as the food was good. But due to the service I would not visit this place again.

Very good food, excellent service, the problem is the size of the tables, and how close they are to each other, it is uncomfortable if some idiot sits near you and you have to endure a stupid conversation that is not yours.

Excellent food - the fish and the entrecôte were amazing. The staff was attentive and friendly, highly recommended!

The place is delicious, they agree with our request, the 4 course menu was enough, we sat outside which was nice for a warm night but inside it looks also very cosy. The service was very kind and helpful.
