I truly enjoyed my stay here the staff was so friendly, I felt at home. They would check in constantly showing they care about us while we staying there. I truly recommend this place. It is so beautiful and clean. The food was great. Definitely 10/10.

Mackaya Bella Guest House is truly one of the top accommodations in Durban. Conveniently located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, it is situated next to Durban Girls' High School and just a short distance from UKZN Howard College. For an academic like myself, the guest house provided a perfect balance of comfort and productivity, creating an environment that is both relaxing and conducive to work.||||The staff is exceptionally friendly and delivers outstanding service, with breakfast being a particular highlight. They go above and beyond to accommodate any special requests, especially for extended stays. The owners are a warm and respectful couple who ensure that all guests feel well taken care of. Mackaya Bella Guest House is more than just a place to stay; it’s a welcoming retreat that feels like a home away from home.

This is really a home away from home. The housekeeping is amazing. The friendliest ever including the owners themselves. Would recommend any1 without any shadow of doubt. Breakfast is wowow!!|And it is situated in a very secure place with lots of tranquility.

Great value for money. Spacious family room. Owners/Hosts go out of their way to assist when required, are very friendly, the morning breakfast is outstanding and all staff on site are willing to go out of their way to accommodate your request. Would recommend Mackaya Bella to family and friends. Well done Nikki and Mike, you made us feel like it was home away from home!!

What a wonderful stay I had at Mackaya Bella. Nicki and Mike are most gracious hosts who have created a wonderful little oasis. It really felt like a home away from home and since it was a working holiday for me, it was lovely to come back to such a warm and welcoming space. Will definitely be back, it's now a firm favourite spot. Special mention to the wonderful Sli and her delicous daily breakfasts.
