Arnold Mackinac Island Ferry

Very positive experience. The ships come exactly as scheduled and depart as such. The ships are comfortable and safe. They take about 15-20 minutes each way, but some of the rides tour under the bridge and take a bit longer. However, the captain usually gives a brief history tour of the bridge and makes it interesting. Round trip is $36 per ticket for adults. I DONT recommend buying tickets online as it’s a few more dollars expensive for no reason. The tickets never sold out during our stay, and lines were never unreasonable. Arnold offers a good service and a fun ride!

Right besides the hotel area under the walking distance. They do provide aprking onsite but I preferred to park at Ramada and they chatge only $10. Ferry were nice and wait time was not too much. Tickets were also cheaper than competitor.

We have never taken Arnold before, but we were impressed – they were prompt, communicated well and made are there and back very easy. Even made coordinating our luggage to our stay very feasible.

The service to Mackinac Island was quick. The ships were clean and fast. Staff was friendly. I would recommend using this service over the other one.

Absolutely delightful. I did the sunset tour and loved going under the bridge, seeing cars go over, and hearing the history of the bridge and the island. On line reservations were easy, staff friendly and courteous. As I walked into the office, at boarding time, I found they were calling me to make sure I didn't miss the boat. (I didn't know I was supposed to get my hand stamped due to not reading my email.) One doesn't hear of customer service like that any more. Beverage prices were less expensive than I anticipated. The kids on the boat loved the trip, too.

Great service to use to get back and forth from Mackinaw City to Mackinac Island. Great, friendly staff. We took our bikes and they took great care loading and unloading.

We purchased our tickets online for an easy departure experience. We opted to wait an additional 30 minutes to experience the under the bridge trip to the island which did not disappoint! The boats were clean, quick to board, and fast! There are plenty of times available so we never felt rushed on the island. I do recommend picking up whatever you may want from the gift shop before you leave because it was closed upon our return.

Staff were friendly, boats were clean and quick, seats were comfy! My only complaint is the cost of the tickets (especially add ons like bikes etc./parking felt really high. We thankfully chose a hotel close enough to the dock that we were able to park at our hotel and walk over to the dock to avoid the $40 parking fee, but it can be quite the sticker shock.
