Ma'Coco

Last week I visited Austin for my friends birthday party. On Saturday, we decided to go to brunch at my Ma'Coco. Me being a Southern girl I was a little hesitant because I've never had a Mexican brunch before but I said huh let's try it. Boy am I glad I did. As soon as I walked in the door we were greeted with warm welcomes and smiles. The staff was friendly and patient. I asked a lot of questions because I was unfamiliar with some of the items on the menu. My friends opted for an array of items I chose the Migas. Initially, I didn't think I was going to like the dish but once I customized it, I quickly realized it was for me. The drinks are on another level. So refreshing so delicious yet still give you a buzz. We even had the donuts. If you're in the Austin area and want to have a non-traditional brunch, try something different I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

10/10 — Highly recommend! The burrito and carne asada fries are a must-try! This was my second visit with my boyfriend and family, and everything was just as great as the first time. The space is limited, so I recommend getting there right when they open to grab a spot or book a reservation. The drinks are delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Only thing to note — it can get a little hot in the summer since the AC doesn’t seem to be on, but the food and drinks make it worth it. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Buda — I’ll be coming back again and again! 😁

First time experiencing Ma’Coco Karla was friendly, and knowledgeable with amazing recommendations. The food was delicious, fresh and vibrant. If you haven’t visited yet definitely put it on your list!

A great local place, fresh food, lovely staff that makes you feel at home. The Jamaica was yummy and even though the Al pastor wasn’t on the trompo, it was still delicious. Def looking forward to returning! The churro donuts made topped the lunch! Forgot to take a pic of our first and 2nd course.

Went here for the first time after recommended by a colleague. The spot itself is super cute, and the food exceeded my expectations. They have homemade tortillas, and great spirits. And the churro donuts were freshly made and out of this world! The service was also great, and kuddos to the waitress who was serving the whole restaurant. The alcoholic drinks were a little pricey ($15) but of course that’s optional.

I visited my son who lives in Buda and decided to try MaCoco's Restaurant ❤️ Emily provided excellent service and has the best smile. I ordered the Chile relleno which was over a tortilla that I never tasted before and it was delicious. My son had the fish tacos and the style is unique and tastes great.

Had reservations for tonight (12/31) at 6:15pm. Confirmed reservation yesterday. Looked on Google today, hours confirmed open. Got dressed up and headed to a closed restaurant. Happy New year.

Such a great spot with an awesome vibe. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff really made the experience though. Marko especially stood out and made us feel super welcome and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Definitely a place I’ll be recommending and coming back to.
