Mac's Barbecue

Best hidden gem in Dallas. Brisket is perfection, sausage was amazing too. We had a great time definitely be back!!!!

I got the 2 meat sandwich (beef&links) The links were good, and the beef was very tender! And the fries were good too. They give you the sauce on the side, which I like! The sauce.....is good but it's not the traditional Texas BBQ sauce. It's darker, and a lil sweet. I will definitely go back. That Frito pie looks GOOD!!!! The place was clean, they had on mask, and were practicing proper hand hygiene. The staff was very nice, the cook even gave me a free soda!! :-) Mac's is way better than Meshack's

I dare say, it's ranked too low! It's a very country looking little place on Main St. The decor has a lot nostalgic pictures, but the food is AMAZING! Not only is the brisket melt in your mouth delicious, the sides are terrific as well. The potato salad and baked beans are a must try! I am confident you won't be disappointed. One thing tho, they're open from 11am-2pm, so better plan accordingly or you will miss out!

Very delicious! It's been a long time since I had some real good BBQ. Very down to earth good people. Very friendly and provided everything we needed for a good sit down and grub. I highly recommend Mac's BBQ to all my family and friends! :)

One of the classics of Dallas barbecue. From the era when a humble chopped beef sandwich and side of beans was lunch for lunch under $5. Great smoked ribs and homemade sausage. Don’t miss the legendary French fries. A Deep Ellum pioneer.

Smoke ring only a sixteenth of an inch. Makes me think it's finished in the oven. The sauce tasted like doctored store bought. I wanted to give this spot a higher rating. The owners were great. It had that small-town institution feel, but the food was average. Not bad, but given the reviews I expected better
