Macy's

The store is clean and welcoming, this beautiful women, Stephanie, was extremely kind calm and her presence is sweet. She helped me and my mom find great shoes for great deals. She is a great multitasker, she didn’t make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. She also made sure that we and other customers were satisfied with all of our purchases. If you need any help with any shoe ask for Stephanie!

Ms Clare is great she helped my wife pick out a couple of dresses, then helped me find a couple of shirts. When we were there a few months earlier Ms Stephanie helped me pick out a suit she is also great. So when we go to Macys we look for these two ladies. and great prices

It's my first time shopping at the Macy's in Paddock Mall in Ocala, FL. It's definitely a small store with very limited selection of stuff to buy. It did have a nice selection of shoes and dresses. Very limited on the pocketbook area. I find that Belks has a better selection of pocketbooks. This store also needs to be better organized. It was quite messy and things were misplaced all over the place. Overall it was an OK experience and I bought a very nice pair of shoes, socks and pants at a discounted price. My cashier customer service experience was great. The guy was super friendly.

Amazing people. They treat you like you are at home in 7 year's they ask me if I need help. Not calling the cops to see if I stole something 😾.. ohhhh everybody I mean everyone SAID GOOD MORNING SIR. I want to live here are they renting space, 🤔??????? 💯

Wow, this store has great items and very nice overall. The staff in women's clothing was so helpful. We found one cashier who took forever to help a customer at checkout. Its great she spent over 15 minutes chatting and helping the woman, but our line was 6 people waiting. The cashier never looked up at us to acknowledge us or direct us to another cashier station. We finally went to another register and told them about the situation. Apparently this is a problem in ladies apparel, which good to know in the future.

Dwight worked with us at the fragrance counter and he was awesome! He had so much patience and experience and helped us make such a mindful decision. Thank you So much, Dwight, we will be back to work with you!

If I could give no stars, I would. I have been a devout Macy's shopper for over 50 years. Coming from New York, our hopes were high and we drove 2 hours to Ocala to experience the Christmas magic that Macy's has been so well known. Upon arriving, the carpets weren't vacuumed and were stained. The racks of clothes were empty and tables of other items were disheveled. One truly didn't know it was Christmas ..we were sad and almost brought to tears. I wish we did take 📸 pictures but we were truly in shock and want to forget this experience. I hope the manager wakes up and saves the reputation and integrity of Macy's. PS..the ladied bathroom was utterly disgusting with a giant fan blowing the stink around.. Merry Christmas..😞

I was in Macy’s today to pick up an order. Upon leaving I stopped in a department at the East door. I tried a jacket that was too small, I took it to the register to see if one could be located at another store. Two female employees were facing me engaged in conversation. I stood there a couple of minutes before asking them if they worked there? They answered yes. At this point I realized my business was not important and I left the jacket on the counter and exited the store. I tried calling to speak with a manager to no avail.

Department stores all seem ridiculously over priced to me, as does this one. It was well stocked. There were alot of long stained carpets, and dinged up shelving, in a way Macys never would have allowed years ago. I expect that from the second line type places that come in after the major chains leave, but was surprised to see it in an establishment that one would think takes itself seriously. There seemed to be enough staff.

The store has much to offer. Excellent selections of swimsuits. Clothing is expensive however it's made of good quality. The saleswoman we had was the weakest link. Perhaps we caught her on a bad day. warm and fuzzy---she was not

We have always had great customer service. Most recently I bought an item during an after Christmas special and needed to exchange it for another size. The clerk made sure the sale price was honored even though it had passed. She was pleasant and helpful throughout. I know online shopping is popular but we need bricks and mortar too.

This is one of the smallest Macy's I have ever encountered. Paddock for a long time was the only game in Ocala. Other offering in this Mall, include JC Penny's and Sears. This Macy's would be a no brainer against that competition but for the size of the store. On a square footage basis, I'm sure Macy's management must be pleased with themselves. But the shortcomings are the limited selection and reduced number of sizes available to customers -- Pettit and XXL are all but forgotten. Nearby Dillard's feels almost twice as large and has a much, much wider selection in all departments.

Worst store ever. Sales people were scare and walked by when you had questions. Very limited inventory. Had a gift certificate- will give it away.

Disgusting! Small! No sales personnel! Limited, very limited selection of clothing and everything else. Totally backward and back-woods mini-store. Not a real Macy's...have no idea what it really is. You can go down the road a little bit and to a really nice Dillards! They have great selection and excellent sales associates. This Macy's store should be knocked down and rebuilt. Men's and women's rest rooms are disgusting! The entire store is a disaster. May as well go anywhere else. But not here. Terrible...and they hear these complaints all the time and never, never change. They can't even answer the phone and tell you where an order is! That is just nuts.

Maybe my expectations have been lowered as the small town living seeps in... Things move a little bit slower, and people don't seem to be as demanding. So, I guess I should cut them some slack that it's the holiday season, and they're one of a handful of stores in what is likely a 40 mile radius that provides 'higher quality' products. But, I"m kind of merciless when it comes to some expectations.... 1. Product placement. I circled this store and not ONCE did I see what I was looking for (shoes for children/men). 2. I was going to buy a Christmas Present for The Fiance... And it took a minute for someone to come over to the counter to help me. Fine, forgiven, it's busy. There were no test strips for cologne. Are you kidding me? There's no help OR test strips? You're on shaky ground now. The lady that finally came over provided me with test strips. Then she said she was going to help the couple standing behind me and she'd be right back. She walked off, showed them something, and WALKED OFF. I stood there for what seemed like the entire afternoon (in reality, possibly 4 minutes) and she never returned. UNFORGIVABLE! I walked out. Left. Never to be heard from again. I hope she works on commission.

Adelaide helped us find the sheets my aunt needed and was super helpful. Great sense of humor and was simply a delight. Excellent customer service.
