My roommate and I visited Paddock Mall yesterday, which was my first time there in a couple of years. I was pleasantly surprised by how many stores they now have. As we wandered through the mall, we decided to stop into Macy’s. One thing I love about Macy’s is the moment you walk through the doors—the inviting scent of all the different fragrances they sell. It’s not overwhelming; it smells very clean and fresh. Macy’s holds a special place in my heart, as I spent a lot of time there as a child—my mother worked for Macy’s 27 years.
We browsed through the clothing, shoes, and purses, and then headed to the makeup counters. I didn’t buy anything, but I noticed they were having some good sales. The store was very quiet inside, with maybe only one or two other shoppers. Overall, it was a lovely visit and brought back some nostalgic feelings.
