Mad about cake

my brother ordered the Red Velvet Cake for my 50th birthday. it was over 2kg of cake, with cream cheese and chocolate ganache frosting in between 3 layers of moist cake! it was so delicious, all the guests raved about the cake. we had some leftovers 2 days later, and it was still good. the cake wasn’t overly sweet, which is just right for us.

2 years ago, March 2018, I ordered a Harry Potter book shaped cake with all the paraphernalia. The end result was awesome and the butter cake, twin flavoured, chocolate and orange was amazing. The photo of cake posted below. The cake was slightly bigger than ordered at no extra charge. Today I placed another order of a special cake for October. Gave the idea of what I wanted to Chef Zam Akmal and he will create the cake together with his partner. I will post the pic of the cake when I pick it up. Chef Zam, the cake was awesome. Great for those who want to order customized fondant cakes. I first ordered through the shop in 2018 for my brother’s wedding hantaran, 1 tier fondant cake with design like in Cake Boss. The owner chef personally attended me & even give suggestions. The cake came out beautifully. Then I ordered similar cake for my wedding but with a little bit different design through Whatsapp. The staff replied quite late & i have to wait a day for the staff to reply to each my enquiry. I showed what I want with my brother’s design & they created another beautiful cake. They send the cake using their own delivery guy (with charges) & no defects upon receiving. The price also reasonable. The shop however placed in a shop lot where so difficult to get parking.

They bake awesome cake and cookies! Their signature is chocolate chip cookies. Love it!

We have heard about this special cake house many years ago. For my grand niece one-year-old birthday, her mum discovered this bakery online and ordered a fabulous birthday cake for her. We decided to check it out today when we sent our car for service at a nearby workshop. The place is cosy. We ordered one of the signature chocolate chips cookies to try first and was given a surprised f.o.c. junior pack. The service crew was courteous and attentive. Prices are on the premium levels but in line with the quality of the products. Parking is a challenge here but not an issue as our car is at the workshop!

It was a pleasant experience designing the cake for my husband and son's joint birthday party. Nani was attentive to the brief and helpful with suggestions. End result - a beautiful and delicious cake!
