Mad Monkey Bayswater

I had such a great experience staying at Mad Monkey Broadway! The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived, and the atmosphere made it really easy to meet other travelers. The common areas are clean, lively, and perfect for hanging out or planning the next adventure. The location is excellent—close to public transport, cafes, and all the essentials. The rooms are comfortable, the facilities are well-maintained, and everything felt safe and organized. I also loved the social vibe—plenty of opportunities to join in activities but also space to chill when you want downtime. Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in Sydney. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, social, and comfortable place to stay.

Loving my stay at this hostel so far! Been here 3 weeks and I feel like we are all family. The staff are all super friendly and helpful and will assist you with any queries you have. Hannah, the assistant manager, is especially very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and quite comfy, I am currently in the 12 bed female dorm and I really like it. The hostel is super social, there are free events every night such as free pasta night. There is also a common area downstairs which a huge couch and tv.

Amazing hostel, with a super friendly staff and really cozy atmosphere! There are some great events, including nights where you get fed- I really liked the wine and cheese night and the pasta night! Plus these events are really good to socialise with other backpackers, I met lots of lovely people playing card games of hanging out in the nice cinema room! Overall a very clean, lively and welcoming hostel, I was very happy with my stay!

A friendly and social hostel in a great location. King's Cross station is just a five minute walk away as well as King's Cross bus stop. You can have a free dinner there twice a week and free cocktails on a Saturday, giving you many opportunities to socialise. There is also the lounge and TV room for when you want to chill. The hostel is constantly being cleaned, and the manager, Millie, and assistant manager, Hannah, ensure the standards are high. I would highly recommend this place!

Big shoutout to Chayana for making me feel so welcome in this hostel, she always checks up on me to see if I’m okay. They have free events every night. It’s only a 5 min walk to King’s Cross station and has a few food places around the area. It’s very social and easy to make friends

This hostel has been great! The atmosphere feels very homey, and the staff is super friendly. They offer free meals twice a week and organize great activities like movie nights and free cocktails on weekends. While the common areas such as the dining room and cinema room are very spacious, the kitchen is a bit cozy, but very clean. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away, and both Coles and Woolworths are only 4 minutes away, as well as the nearby park. I’d recommend this Hostel to everyone, especially to those who are looking forward to be very central and are looking for a nice opportunity to meet new people!

I’m currently staying in a 6 mixed dorm with my boyfriend, beds are really comfy. They have a tv room where you can play the PS5 or watch movies with your friends. They free events every night like Hot choc and face masks night, pasta night, nacho night and cheese night etc. The staff are very friendly especially Hannah and Mille, they are always there when you need things.
