Mad Monkey East Side

Great hostel!! Good and clean facilities, massive kitchen with everything you need to cook. Good friendly atmosphere! Check is was very easy and the receptionist Emma was so friendly and helpful. Amazing location in Sydney, close to everything and public transport. As a solo traveller I'd definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Mad Monkey East Side in Sydney while traveling around Australia, and I had such a great experience. The staff, especially the reception team, were always incredibly kind and helpful, making sure all my questions were answered and that I felt welcome. The hostel itself is very clean, peaceful, and has a great atmosphere to meet people and relax. Its location is perfect, right next to the train station with easy access to the whole city. I truly recommend this hostel to anyone new to Sydney or just looking for a great place to stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mad Monkey Eastside in Sydney! The hostel is perfectly located, so you can easily walk everywhere. The common areas are really spacious: there's a big kitchen, a huge TV room, a nice courtyard with outdoor seating, and a "blue room" with a view of King Cross. There are events every single day, either at this hostel or at the nearby Mad Monkey locations, so it's super easy to meet people from all around the world and build new connections. The team is amazing, and the manager is fantastic! <3 The rooms are large and very clean — the housekeeping is really good. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator, so be ready to take the stairs — but honestly, that’s part of the backpacker experience 😉 Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in so far. Everything was great! People are really kind and fun to be around. Rooms were good, had a big locker and box to put my stuff in. They have two comunal areas: cinema room and blue room, they are both really comfy, I was also able to leave my luggage in a separate room. All good

Great hostel! Clean, friendly, Great facilities and great WiFi. The kitchen was huge and very easy to cook your own meals with all the needed equipment. The team were friendly and helpful with anything I needed. A great place to stay for a solo traveller, as they organise events with other mad monkey hostels as well, which was an added bonus to meet people!

A really good hostel. Everyone there was friendly, the team were helpful with anything I needed and there was good WiFi which is hard to find. The kitchen had all the equipment you would need to make a meal. Perfect place to stay for a solo traveller, especially with the organised events with other hostels. This means you can meet other people and in a safe environment.

Nice hostel in King Cross, good location. The staff is very kind and friendly, they clean every day both public areas and bedrooms. If you are looking for an hostel in Sydney, I recommend you to go to this one !
