Mad Monkey Hostel Kampot

The location was perfect on the beach front, though I was in a 12 bed dorm it did not feel like it and everyone was so friendly. Lauren and Frazer were top tier for staff members. Only down fall was the food took a while to come but once it did, was always delicious!! Happy hour prices 10/10 and the doggies running all day was the cutest!

Perfect combination between quite and vibrant, cool rooftop bar, nice vibe and cool people from all over. Food is great, not expensive and the receptionists are very helpful with booking buses and tours. Motorcycles for rent are in a very good conditions. Lots of sleeping arrangements available, dorms equipped with ac, big beds. Private room with ac was also very clean and cozy. Pool area is awesome, music is good and there is a net for games, pool table and hammocks. Very recommended!

Clean & well equipped. Good to meet a lot of other young travellers but all in this hostel seems forced. Staff at the reception acts indifferent, you are just a 'number of the crowd'. Prices are a bit higher than usual. No vibes of an Asian accommodation. Definitely not the right place if you go for an authentic Cambodia trip.

We stayed 4 nights in a private room that was very clean and spacious. The staff was so friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and very helpful!! The hostel organizes activities every day, and we participated in two tours: the scooter tour of bokor and the jungle trekking, both highly recommended with beautiful locations and views, a very informative guide, and just a lot of fun overall! Be aware that this is a party hostel so there is music every night and it can get pretty loud but everything stops at midnight when the party moves to another location, which is great! I never had any trouble sleeping! All in all I can only recommend this place for a beautiful holiday in Kampot!!

The hostel was everything you needed, and what you expect when you go to a mad monkey hostel. All the facilities were good, the exception being the AC wasn't really up to scratch but none the less did the job. The highlight of my stay being the Bokor mountain tour. Was an amazing day out and made and even better day with the knowledge that came with it. Big shout out to Scott for being an excellent tour guide. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in a private room for three persons. The space is really generous and it is very clean- very different than you would expect when staying in a hostel. Unfortunately, one of our bed had bed bugs, that’s why I only give 4 stars. The pool was clean and the restaurant was good, too. The staff is also super friendly.

Nice location. Very clean Hostel with a big pool. Big locker for your bag under the bed. A typical social mad monkey hostel. Extendet twice :). Very friendly and helpful staff (especially Oliver). Everyday day they offer tours and you can book your onward journey.

Great mountain scooter tour provided by Scott. One of the highlights of my trip so far. The hostel is well set up with a pool, snooker room, washing facilities, and decent rooftop/poolside bars. WiFi was okay. My dorm had no fans and one a/c unit so it was hot and sweaty at night. Reps made it though thanks chaps.
