Had a lovely stay at Mad Monkey. Clean and comfortable rooms. Food and drinks were also good. All evening entertainment was great. I liked how music was off at 11pm meaning you could have an early night if you wanted to or had the option to continue the night out at other clubs with the hostel. Tin Tin was a brilliant guide and made our walking tour enjoyable. He also did an amazing job running the Music Bingo. Great guy! X

This hostel was absolutely incredible, all the staff were incredible especially the reps Jordan, Nichole, Tipper, Tom, and one more who I can’t temper his name. The vibes were immaculate. Most importantly the bartenders who had deal with all of us and always entertaining us. By far best mad monkey experience

No complaints everything you want from a hostel. To be clear, it is very much a party hostel, but we didn’t get involve with any of that and were fine. You can step out and you’re close by loads of restaurants as well as easy access for grabs to the important historical sites. Doesn’t seem like there’s many other cheap and good (bug free, AC, water, wifi etc) places to stay in PP.

Mad Monkey has been my favorite spot in Phnom Penh since the old Street 302 days, and the new location is even better! The staff here are incredible. Thy Thy has been a standout for years, always making my visits fun and unique. I’ve stayed here a few times, and it’s always been a great time. Hollie has also been a great addition to Mad Monkey, I've seen the changes that have been happening and I can truly say, it has been more alive than the old days, she has a special place in my heart. Lately, I’ve met two new reps, Faye and Harry, and they’re amazing! Even when I’m not staying at Mad Monkey, they always make me feel so welcome. They definitely enlighten the experience in Phnom Penh as they are genuinely one of the most coolest people I've met. I'm very happy to have met and make new memories with them! The drinks are awesome, and the nightlife is next level. There’s always something happening every night, from parties to fun activities that bring everyone together. If you’re traveling to Phnom Penh and don’t know where to go, this is the place. The vibe, the events, and the caring staff make it easy to feel at home and meet new people. Highly recommend!

This beautiful hostel has a rep as a party place, and rightly so. The sprawling, open air first floor party palace has a great swimming pool, pool table, lots of comfy seating, great music and youthful vibe. This same space serves up a diverse and eclectic breakfast and lunch menu, by day. Fortunately, guest rooms are located upstairs away from the party scene, so if you do need a disco power nap, you can do so. Full extra long beds and superb aircon and en-suite hot showers make for a cozy sleep experience! This place is heaven for the weary traveler. Dorm rooms and common spaces are kept neat and tidy. Don’t let the name fool you… You would have to be mad NOT to stay here‼️Cheers, monkeys!

I had a great day at mad monkey in a four person room. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were big. Jordan, in specific was a wonderful staff member here who was very helpful in terms of planning and telling us what would be fun to do in the area and at the hostel. I would recommend! Hopefully you visit while Jordan is still here !

Honestly had one of the best stays as in interaction with staff and just in general for a hostel. Beds and rooms are unreal and then the staff top it off for an unreal experience! They’re going to hate that I’m putting their actual names but I’m writing this to say a thank you to Seong Sotheada, Sothy Soeur and Chorn Sreylin (Tin Tin, Thy Thy and Lin)! 10/10 for all of them and the other staff. Tin Tin led us on the walking tour and it was unreal, and then we did the pub crawl later on that night and had an amazing night! Highly recommend. Food and drinks also good!
