Alice in Wonderland has been my favorite movie since I was a child, and riding the Mad Tea Party today was a dream come true! My inner child was absolutely screaming with joy. We spun and spun and then spun some more! I couldn't stop laughing. The colors are so vibrant and the music is so catchy. It was a truly magical and nostalgic experience. I will definitely be back to ride it again and again. 5/5 stars!

Try both the daytime and nighttime experience. We got lucky with the shorter lines. Definitely turn the center with your loved one. Daughter loved it. If it were her itinerary, we'd do this ride over and over again.

Super cute and very nostalgic. It was a 5 min wait. I absolutely adore this ride. It looks so pretty at night 😍

Google
This is a Disneyland classic. The cups are great size for families and can go pretty quick! The purple one goes faster as well (so I’ve been told). If you go fast you will get dizzy no question.

This is a fun ride to check out during the day and night! If you're not into the spinning rides, I'd avoid this one. You can spin your teacup as fast or slow as you want to, while also spinning around the ride itself! Very dizzy! At nighttime, this place is magical! The lights and the ride itself look so good. Definitely recommend walking by to see it!

Mad Tea Party at Disneyland is an absolute classic and a must-ride for visitors of all ages! 🎩☕🌈 The ride’s colorful spinning teacups are visually stunning — bright pastels, twinkling lanterns, and the whimsical soundtrack from Alice in Wonderland create a magical atmosphere. The ride is simple but incredibly fun — you control how fast your teacup spins, so you can make it as mild or as wild as you want! At night, the ride becomes even more enchanting with the lanterns lighting up the area, giving it a dreamy, otherworldly feel. It’s especially fun to ride with friends or family — lots of laughs and dizzying spins! Lines can get long during peak hours, but the queue moves fairly quickly. The ride is short but sweet, and the nostalgia factor makes it worth it. Whether you’re a fan of Alice in Wonderland or just looking for a fun and lighthearted ride, Mad Tea Party is a Disneyland staple you shouldn’t miss! 🍵✨🎠🌙

This ride was everything that you can imagine and definitely as iconic as everyone says it is

Google
This is definitely a classic! This is one of the rides you remember. Kids will love this ride, and even adults will enjoy this colorful, spinning ride! If you go to Disneyland, you have to go here!!

Yelp
It may not be the most thrilling or the most breathtaking ride in Disneyland, but The Mad Tea Party is a classic ride that has stood the test of time! On a recent trip to Disneyland, I got to enjoy this ride with my SO, my stepsister and my 5-year-old nephew. This ride is perfect for the little ones since it isn't too fast or too intense. We just spent the entire time of the ride turning the wheel and the cup around and giggling the whole time. Great, warm fuzzy memories! :) The line moves quite fast, and I never had to wait more than 10 minutes to jump on! This ride is an old school classic, and I love it! 5 stars.

Yelp
The teacups is just such a fun ride. Don't let long lines scare you. I feel like this ride line is constantly moving. I think that's because you can deceptively hold a ton of riders on each 'trip.' And once you are on the ride, I love that the intensity is really up to each rider. If you're an adult, spin like crazy and get dizzy beyond belief. If you're younger (or with younger riders), don't spin your cup at all and just twist and turn a little bit. It really helps make each rider have their own unique experience. I know that this ride type is no unique to Disneyland (I don't even think they invented it) but there's just something unique about this version. Maybe it's the perfect theming. Maybe it's just the atmosphere it's in. I'm not sure. All I know is that I love that my boys all want to go on here every time we visit the park.

Yelp
Mad Tea Party at Disneyland reminds me so much of my childhood -- this ride is a Disney classic :') I love this ride because the line is never too crazy !!! My fav thing to do is to run to the pink teacup whenever I can -- it feels like everyone races to their fav colored teacup LOLZ

Yelp
For my 200th review of 2024, I wanted to save for something special. What's more magical than a Disneyland review?! This attraction has been an absolute favorite since I was a kiddo. My nanny would love to take us as kids as she was born and raised in England. It had some nostalgia for her, and honestly makes me think of her every time I go by. A recent trip was a rainy day, and I was able to capture a rare photo of the attraction with no one in the tea cups. If you haven't tried this ride, then it's a must on your next trip. Also, there is a prop tea cup just a ways down from the ride queue so you can take a posed photo. Occasionally a photo pass photographer is there to snap a photo as well. Cheerio darling!
google avatar

Yelp
It is an okay kids ride... I remember liking this ride as a kid. As an adult though, this ride is so underwhelming. And the line gets long for this! For this! I'm in disbelief. While standing in line, one of the kids crapped their pants. So, it smelt like poop. Awesome- as if standing in line waiting wasn't bad enough. We had to smell dodo the entire wait. Gross!!! We only went on this because my partner wanted to spin the teacup as fast as possible to make me dizzy. The irony is that there is a limit on how fast you can actually spin them/ how fast they will go. So, the joke was on him. Or maybe it was on me, since we waited in the poopy line for a boring ride?
google avatar

Lindsay F.

Yelp
Still our son's fav ride! I've officially made it 3 times on the ride without feeling dizzy, too!

Yelp
I always loved the Mad Tea Party as a kid and was excited to ride it again now that I have kids of my own. I took my Leo B. to Disneyland on a rainy Monday with my husband, brother, and sister-in-law, and the teacup ride was closed the first time we walked by due to the weather. We lucked out later in the day when we happened upon it soon after reopening, when the line was mercifully short. We learned while we waited that Leo had strong feelings about our choice in teacup. He wanted to ride one of the two turquoise blue teacups, and as much as we tried to tell him that he might not get his way, he only grew more attached as our turn approached. It was actually a relief when the line cut off right before us and we had to wait for the next tea party. We got our blue teacup and Uncle Andrew and Auntie Seal got a pink one next to ours--Leo still talks about the teacup colors almost two months later. The ride was super fun and not at all scary, even for our kind of timid almost-three-year-old. He enjoyed controlling the steering wheel and spinning around. He was utterly silent the whole time, but in an awed, satisfied way, and he talked about it incessantly from like the moment we got off. If you're hitting Disneyland with a toddler, the Mad Tea Party is a must. I wish you luck getting him the teacup his heart desires.

Yelp
What a Tea Party! Omg this ride always makes me so happy (my fiancé more happy because she loves the spinning) but this ride is very exciting! Nostalgic, colorful Disney magic at its finest! I love to NOT spin and just enjoy the ride but everyone I go with, wants to break the world record for spinning the tea cup. I don't mind. I go with it! Anyways, it is sooo fun to pick which tea cup you want to ride in (sometimes happens , sometimes doesn't) and the song is so cute and exciting. I love the movie and this ride makes you feel like you're in the movie! This ride is never longer than 40 min which I feel is worth the wait! Fantasyland is Fantasyland because of rides like this! I love the Tea Party! Especially the mouse in the tea cup at the top of the ride!
google avatar

Monique W.

Yelp
The Mad Tea Party is located in Disneyland's Fantasyland next to Alice in Wonderland and Storybrook Land boats. You're essentially in a oversized teacup that is spinning around. You can make it spin more by twisting the wheel in the middle of the teacup. This ride is for all ages and heights. It does spin often. If you get motion sickness easily, you should avoid this ride. It's always a short wait time for the Mad Tea Party. In the morning, it's usually no wait, towards the evening it's usually less than 15 minutes. It's a beautiful ride a night with all the lights lit up!
google avatar

Meg T.

Yelp
We seem to always end up riding the teacups when we visit Disneyland. Always. The Mad Tea Party is very similar to Mator's ride at Disney California Adventure and provides super grammable moments while you're in a huge teacup flying around at medium speed. I do wish Disney would re-vamp the entry point as it frequently ends up with line cutting and this last visit it made it almost impossible to social distance, but all in all we love the pastel colors of the cups, the music, and and how adorable the pictures always are. Definitely not one to miss if you're visiting Fantasyland!
google avatar

Yelp
I survived Mad Tea Party!!! Located in Fantasyland right next to Alice in Wonderland. I always wanted to ride this Mad Tea Party ride. However, my friends and family members to this date won't go on it with me, lol! Hahah, will this ride make you queasy, nauseous and possibly throw up? Um, yea...but that depends...if you keep spinning it too much, it certainly will! Also, don't eat too much before or afterwards, especially now, with the food prices jacked up so high...don't want to be seeing your meals coming up and out all over you, lol! To ease the possible queasy feeling, spin the disc clockwise and counterclockwise at a time. Don't spin in just one direction (that's just plain dumb, lol!). I had a good time spinning my teacup. My friend didn't go on the ride with me but helped take pictures and videos for me (thanks, J!). Also, when it lights up at night, it's pretty as well! Yay, another childhood dream/ride fulfilled!
google avatar

Jeremy J.

Yelp
This is a wonderful ride at the Magic Kingdom. This brings back a lot of memories saying this because my oldest daughter last time we went love this ride so much we will wait in line she would write it I would write it with her it was awesome and then she want to get back in line road again. It is based off the Alice in wonderland movie and it's just a lot of fun for the family
google avatar

Yelp
"We're all mad here!" We sure are and it's mainly over these amazing teacups of fun! Being a huge Alice fan my entire life this ride doesn't disappoint. Feeling like I've spun straight out of Disneyland and onto the table of the craziest tea party. The music, the lights, it's all so perfectly set just like the film we all grew up loving. You pick your teacup, buckle up, and start spinning that tea cup like you e never spun before. Lines aren't usually too bad and the fun music definitely makes up for any you may come across. Located in beautiful Fantasy land across from the storybook whale, this whirly twirly fun ride will have you literally spinning in circles of craziness. So don't be late for this very important ride, grab a friend and hop in line for one of the funnest rides straight out of wonderland. Also, the teacups at closing time is a gorgeous sight!
google avatar

Neen M.

Yelp
To me it's sooo much funner not spinning it faster and just soaking in the movement. Anyone else? lol I mean maybe it's I'm getting older more prone to dizziness but there's something about kicking back, doing no extra work and just enjoying the colors and motion of the ride itself. It's also 20x more pretty at night with all of the gorgeous lights.
google avatar

Craig Y.

Yelp
The spinning teacups I haven't rode this ride for many years cause I never really cared for it and I've been on this ride maybe twice that I can remember. Basically you sit in a teacup with a steering wheel in the middle you basically turn it to spin really fast or the other way for a slower spin so all you do is spin lol. I recommend not going on this right after eating or on an empty stomach. If you get dizzy easily and don't like it this ride is not for you. At night before the park closes you can get a pretty good shot of the pretty color tea cups and lights.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely one of our favorite rides in Disney land park. This ride is located in fantasyland right next to Alliston wonderland and Mr. toads wild ride also nearby is the dumbo ride as well as Matterhorn Every time I think of an iconic visual ride for Disneyland the Manatee party is at the top of my list everyone knows remembers maybe not loves but definitely iconic Disneyland ride I personally love this ride because I feel it's a great family ride or friends ride I just feel like it's a group type of ride you're all trying to get the table to turn as fast as you can so you can spin as fast as you can all the bright colors spinning in the people smiling and laughing it's hard not to be happy on this ride it really is My favorite time to ride this ride is actually at night I feel like the dimmed lighting the bright colors it feels more majestic and magical when riding this particularly at night for pictures might not be a good option but in my personal opinion it feels beautiful at night riding this ride Also there is an iconic tea cup located outside of the ride for picture purposes for people who want to capture the memories but maybe don't wanna experience the spinning
google avatar

Ann T.

Yelp
A classic ride that I always associate with Disneyland. Now I'm a bit older and much more prone to getting queasy. Just some pro-tips from me: 1) I heard that the solid color tea cups go way faster than the decorated ones, so someone else confirm what I heard ! 2) If you look up and around you, you will get WAY more dizzy than if you just look at the disc in front of you. 3) The disc is actually difficult to spin, so get ready to have noodle arms at the end of the ride if you're really hamming it. Obviously, don't go on this ride after a full stomach. Good, classic fun!
google avatar

Omar P.

Yelp
Lines move extremely fast. Decor around the ride is great. Love going on ride with the kiddos
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
Been on this ride many times through the years but only felt compelled to write a review now since my baby is now 3 and was able to help us turn the wheel this time. The first time she was on this, she was 2 weeks old and in the baby carrier attached to me. I was really happy to see that she was able to ride with us. Also, after going to the San Diego County fair and riding the tea cups on that one, I'm thankful that this one at Disneyland, last a bit longer. You get a bit more for your money. I love to spin really fast and we giggle on who gets to turn it and in the end, we're all stumbling out of the tea cup. It's become a tradition of mine with my kids whenever we're at Disneyland. I love the cute colors and theme here too.
google avatar

Zoe K.

Yelp
*NOTE* 4 ADULTS DO NOT FIT IN A CUP This ride is fun, beautiful, and perfectly timed so that you can't get (too) dizzy HOWEVER, let it be known that anyone not petite or the size of a child will NOT FIT COMFORTABLY We crammed 2 petite girls and 2 six foot guys in, but everyone's legs were smashed and the guys feet were twisted while one of my legs had to be up on the seat There were no more cups otherwise we would have coupled up and moved. We should have waited for the next round. Next time we know
google avatar

Kairi L.

Yelp
This is such an amazing ride! The animated Alice in Wonderland is my favorite movie of all time, and the tea party is my favorite scene. I've been hearing many motion sickness stories, but I spun it all the way and didn't feel dizzy at all. I have been lucky enough to see Alice and the Mad Hatter hitch a ride on one of the teacups! One tip though- try to do this while it's sunny outside. It is one of the teacup attractions that are outside, and the tracks will not move properly when exposed to rain.
google avatar

Windy D.

Yelp
I have been wanting to do the tea party at the Disneyland Hotel for the past few years and have never been able to get a reservation... But this year for my birthday I finally got one after talking to a Cast Member at Disney Dining... This year it happened to be Alice in Wonderland (which is MY Favorite) You can try as many teas as you would like!! So be sure to share!! Bring your appetite because believe it or not there is a lot of food!! Sugar there is a lot of sugar! The treats are beyond sugary (it was too much for me) I only left 2 things behind TIPS: Your reservation comes with 3 hrs of VALET PARKING make sure you use it!! AP discount is available too!!
google avatar

Anthony Z.

Yelp
This was my granddaughters most antcipated ride. The line was super short, and we made it through in maybe 10 minutes or so. While we were wating in line, we got to see Alice and the Mad hatter riding in one of the tea cups, so that added in a little extra magic to the experience. I had a great time spinning the girls around in our pink tea cup. I was spinning the tea cup as fast as I could. We were all dizzy as we exited and all in all had a great time. Definatly in our top 5! This is one of those rides where everyone is laughing together.
google avatar

Stylishshopper ..

Yelp
Yep, feeling five again. This ride is so magical I would ride it for an hour straight if I could.... Thanks Walt.
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
Classic! Recommend! ...unless you can't handle spinning for approximately 10 minutes straight. You can turn the tea cup wheel to spin faster as your tea cup is spinning in between other tea cups for a more exhilarating ride. I see a lot of people just sit without turning the wheel enjoying the music too. I highly recommend at night because the tea lights are on and it feels more magical inside the ride. The lines are bearable for this ride. Since it's a shorter ride with multiple tea cups, you're not waiting as long as other rides.
google avatar

Emm A.

Yelp
The Mad Tea Party is a spinning ride that is not any different than you are expecting. The tea party is slightly better than other spinning rides, due to the theme being SPOT ON, with the cool decorations and music. I was lucky enough to experience this spiny ride while Alice and the Mad Hatter were ALSO on the ride. One of the most perfect experiences I have had! Lines are ALWAYS long here, during the day, and at night when the area is lit up! There are no FastPasses, which means you can be waiting for awhile. The Mad Tea Party can be fun for adults, and children.
google avatar

Phil C.

Yelp
One of the classic rides here at the Magic Kingdom for all ages. Brings me back to being a kid again when stepping into these cups. How can you not love it. Lines aren't crazy and it moves fairly quickly. **Not a wise decision to go on this ride right after lunch, but any other time is great! ;)
google avatar

Erika D.

Yelp
Some things never change and some things never should! This classic Disney ride is a time treasured memory and my daughter loved it just as I do and it was one of the few she requested again.
google avatar

Malia H.

Yelp
The tea cups have been my favorite ride forever. This ride is in Fantasyland and there always seems to be a line but it moves pretty fast. I've never had too long of a wait, 15-20 min max. The cups are cutely painted and can hold up to four people maximum I would say. Depending how much and how fast you spin the wheel in the center of the cup will depend on how much your teacup spins so you ultimately control the ride. All of the teacups spin the same way and all have the same potential speed despite what people say. Go in the day and night for a different ride experience. At night, it's really pretty with the lit lanterns above. Be prepared to be dizzy and be careful getting out of your cup. There's also a cute staged pink cup nearby so you can take photos on a teacup!
google avatar

Yonnie C.

Yelp
Just don't turn the wheel inside the cup and you won't get that dizzy. A fun time with kid in tow, especially when the wait is only 5 minutes.
google avatar

Margret C.

Yelp
Part I (last year) I took my (nearly two years) son on this ride with him on my lap (hubby has a motion sickness thing) for the first time last thursday. He wanted to control the steering wheel, but I wasn't sure if he could handle the spinning, we did a few though. So fearless, our son. Part II (this year) This time, my boy was next to me, and I spun the wheel so much, that my arms were quite sore the next day. But the important thing, is he enjoyed it, as hubby watched on the sidelines, filming more footage for home videos. I agree with Jessie B, it does go really fast (but almost everything at D-land, seems like it, though, huh? After it was done, it didn't seem like my son was dizzy, so I think that he can handle a lot, for a then-nearly-three-year-old.
google avatar

Yelp
There is a special section of my heart reserved for any of the Fantasyland attractions at Disneyland. Fantasyland was Walt's favorite and when you see all the children having fun there its easy to realize why. Believe it or not during the time I worked at the Resort or all the time I had an Annual Passport this was not one of my favorite rides. I figured I just paid like 20 bucks for lunch, I would like to keep it around for a while....thank you. I have come to love it for a couple reasons.. As you may know there are very few attractions in Fantasyland that have a Fastpass, so you basically have to wait in line for any of them. There are days the Peter Pan line is over a hour and the Storybook Canal Boats line stretches for days. But even on the busiest days the Tea Cups seem to get you through the line rather quickly, and in the shade at that. My other reason I love the Tea Cups is for the pictures. Set your camera on slow shutter speed and go to town. Take 100 pictures and one or two will come out amazing looking with colors spinning in the background but the subject sharp. So make sure your lunch is nice and settled and take a whirl around with the Mad Hatter...you will come out a little dizzy on the other side but its totally worth it. Tip: If they will let you stand there the little cove by the main parade route is an awesome place to watch any of the stuff going on in that performance corridor. :0)
google avatar

Tamara P.

Yelp
Love these colorful spinning tea cups ride located in Fantasyland. Whether you ride this day or night, the photos come out great with the happy, colorful tea cups and vivid, blissful lanterns as a backdrop. On an average day the wait for this ride is usually no longer than ten to twenty minutes. Peak Spring Break, Summer and Winter Breaks are a different story. Wait times can start at the twenty minute mark, but thankfully the line moves pretty quick. This ride is fun for all ages, but definitely not meant for everyone. The whole experience really varies on who is controlling the tea cup. I have had pleasant rides with my daughter and other people, and not so pleasant rides with my husband or friends who spin so hard and fast making everyone slide off of their seats and feel queasy shortly afterwards. If you are one of those people that get dizzy easily, then I would say this ride isn't for you.
google avatar

Cindy W.

Yelp
We are all a little mad here. When we thing of the spinning ride, we think tea cup and this is exactly what it is. Located in Fantasyland, this ride is easily identified by the colorful lanterns. This ride can average a 15-25 minute wait, each tea cup can seat up to 3-4 adults. The ride has a wheel in the center to allow a more "spinning experience". The ride usually last about 90seconds so if you feel a little dizzy, stop playing with the wheel. Would recommend trying it out.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
Tip, you may not want to go on this ride right after eating! It is very fun and you control how fast you spin. The Alice and Wonderland theme is great. Pick a teacup, sit and spin.....yahooo
google avatar

Sara B.

Yelp
Confession: In the many, many times I've been to DL, I had NO CLUE that this ride was called the "Mad Tea Party." For real? I've called it the Tea Cups my entire existence. Or more fondly, the Puke o'nator. I feel like I've been living a lie. A staple DL ride. SUPER fun, but I'll really only ride it if the line is super short. Not worth a wait, IMHO. If you love spinning, you're gonna love it. If you don't, weeeell... maybe pass. But check it out for sure, because the ride itself is actually quite beautiful: the colorful teacups on the pink floor, the cheerful lanterns that light up at night. Makes me smile through the abject betrayal. VERDICT: Definitely go take a look. If you're feeling brave and your stomach is EMPTY, give them a try. (at least once, ya baby!)
google avatar

Jessie B.

Yelp
Mad Tea Party, or the Tea Cups as many refer to them, may be a simple ride but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable! The line goes really quick, and how quick you spin is completely up to you (well, and those you ride with!) I chose to ride alone, and ended up feeling like I had just had an arm day at the gym, except I had a bigger smile then I would get from a workout. Don't miss this classic.
google avatar

Matt H.

Yelp
I certainly find it interesting that there are many people who did NOT know this ride is actually called "Mad Tea Party".....but whatevs. This ride was certainly one of my all time favorites as a child (especially since back in the day the cups went WAY faster), but as I become more "distinguished" in my older age, this ride gives me feels.... of days long past, of innocence and childhood- but mostly nausea. This is a spinning type ride themed after the 1951 Disney animated "Alice in Wonderland". You choose from one of several different colored/patterned tea cups and turn ur attention to the wheel in the center. Once the ride starts make it a point to almost rip ur arms off by turning that wheel as hard and as fast as u can in either direction- the more u turn the wheel the faster ur tea cup will spin. This ride is uncovered and has lovely lanterns overhead that give it an added dimension at night. Piping music in the background taken straight from the iconic scene in the movie also heighten the appreciation for this attraction. The Florida version of this ride is differently cosmetically but still functions in the same manner. I'll give one parting piece of advice- when ur bookin' it like there's no tomorrow, just stare straight down at that wheel. Do NOT avert thine eyes! Even when the ride stops, take a moment to compose yourself before stepping out of ur cup but still continue to keep your gaze downwards for another minute or so as u shuffle off...or your meal u had previously might start to creep upwards. A very merry unbirthday to you!

Yelp
Spin me faster and faster. My kids, wife and I love this ride. At night, the lanterns light this ride up like Christmas. It looks really cool. Make sure to make a stop here and spin away. Please do not stop here after lunch or dinner. I wouldn't want you to lose something.
google avatar

Kristine M.

Yelp
Call me crazy but I love me some tea cups! No one ever wants to go on this ride as all my friends are big babies with weak stomachs. Luckily, my nieces have my blood coursing through their veins and were down to get their dizzy on! My niece, 6, sprinted for the pink cup elbowed some poor boy and jumped with all the excitement of Christmas morning into the cup. I worked that wheel best I could to make sure these girls were not disappointed. Oh my God, the amount of laughter one ride provided in a few minutes was priceless. I'm a proud Aunt as they loved every dizzying second. No sick riders here. Granted, if you know you get sick do not go on this ride as it will absolutely ruin your day. You can control how fast or slow you want to go though but I would recommend to anyone do it on an empty stomach free of drugs and booze. It is gorgeous at night too so be sure to stop by and see all the beautiful lanterns aglow.

Yelp
I wish I had a picture of the Mad Tea Party because in my opinion, it is one of the more beautiful rides in the Magic Kingdom Park. I remember the first time I rode this attraction was when I was a pre-teen (maybe I was about 12 or 13?) I'm not sure. I was too scared to ride this as a kid so I avoided it at all costs lol. Anyways, I loved this attraction because with the combination of the music from the mad tea party and its surroundings, it made me feel like I was in Alice's wonderland. This attraction is decorated with colorful plants (that are outside the ride), a sign that says Mad Tea Party and features the characters (on the sign) of the March Hare and the Mad Hatter. The teacups themselves are beautifully painted in all sorts of colors and unique decorations. Each teacup has a door that allows you to enter the teacup and a wheel that allows you to spin your teacup in circles. When I rode this attraction much later in life with my husband, I went on a full stomach which was a huge mistake. My husband kept spinning the teacup in so many circles that I started to feel sick; quick tip- never go on this ride on a full stomach!! My husband kept saying how fun the ride was; I felt dizzy afterwards and went to Pinocchio's Village Haas to get a Sprite to settle my stomach. Not wanting to take the fun away from my husband, I told him to continue exploring the park without me. I stayed at the restaurant until I felt better and not as sick haha. I remember two years later, we went to Disneyland again and rode the Mad Tea Party again; this time, my stomach was not full and the experience was so much better and a lot more fun too! Love this ride but I would chose wisely on how much you eat before boarding this attraction otherwise, you are sure to have a good time....

Yelp
This is easily my favorite part/spot at Disneyland! The line goes much faster here than other attractions and rides. The wait time is anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes. Not too bad. The ride itself is not very long and lasts about 3 minutes or so. The tea cup spins on itself. You can add extra spin to the tea cup by spinning the wheel located in the center faster.

Yelp
My baby loved this ride and she's only a toddler. She laughed the whole time. It made my heart sing to share a ride that I grew up loving with my own child. Our teacup was purple and my baby didn't want to get off afterward. Wish the ride had more shade, but I loved it.

Yelp
Faster! Faster! Faster! A solid classic of Disneyland and Disney World. This is a great backup plan ride when your hopes of riding Space Mnt., It's a Small World, or the Bobsleds are crashed by insane lines. The tea cups' line is usually much more doable. It's a must visit for every trip to Disney.

Yelp
The Mad Tea Party is an iconic Disneyland ride. Although it is a pretty short ride, it is still definitely worth it and one of my favorites! The spinning teacups are so much fun and the entire ride's atmosphere is so cheerful and upbeat. You really do feel like you are at a tea party! Definitely go during the day but go back and ride again at night. The lanterns are lit up and look gorgeous. Pro-tip: Extremely short lines during night time festivities like WOC and Fantasmic. Plus riding during the fireworks is a fun experience!

Yelp
Amazing, fun and colorful at night. Right across from the Matterhorn which scares my little sister, so when my parents and other sibling do that I take her on this a few times. Honestly never get board.

Yelp
This isn't just a ride for the whole family, it pretty much requires the whole family! And hopefully your family has good upper body strength because these tea cups may whirl on their own, but they spin based off pure elbow grease! This Mad Tea Party has been a part of the happiest place on Earth since opening day and, fun fact: the Mad Tea Party has been in each of the 5 Disneyland parks on opening day except one. And it's been putting smiles on kids faces and making people throw up ever since.

Yelp
A think of beauty! One of the old originals, and a true piece of History! Walt loved Alice, so she got two rides instead of one. Only right. I don't ride this as I am not a fan of the spinnies. Have fun though, and know you are a part of History! Thanks to the amazing Cast Members who work so hard to bring us Magic every day!

Yelp
The aesthetics of this ride is magnificent. I feel like I'm in a tea party. The concept is simple- you're in a teacup which spins around for 2 minutes. You have the choice to spin the teacup to make the teacup spin faster. The faster it spins, the dizzier you'll be after the ride.
