Madal Cafe

Stopped by here this morning and I enjoyed an espresso and their chocolate and hazelnut croissant. The espresso I had was the one for Burundi and it was a great espresso and done very well. I also enjoyed the croissant and the flavors in it. This space is very large and has lots of light. It’s a great space to connect and hang out. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

While walking toward the Parliament, we were drawn into this café by its inviting atmosphere and charming aesthetics—and we’re glad we stopped. The food was excellent, offering a nice variety of pastries and high-quality coffee. Orders are managed efficiently with a device that beeps when your food is ready for pickup, keeping the process smooth and organized. The space is spotless and thoughtfully designed, making it an ideal spot for studying or working. There are plenty of power outlets available, which is a big plus for those needing to charge their devices. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is the price—it's a bit on the higher side for what is essentially a simple breakfast. Still, the overall experience was very enjoyable and worth a visit.

The space is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of tables in different sizes and power outlets everywhere, which makes it ideal if you’re planning to stay a while with your laptop. The coffee is excellent and they offer a nice variety. We tried the cold brew tonic (light and refreshing) and the iced flat white, which was smooth and delicious. Food-wise, we were pleasantly surprised! The banana bread was super moist and tasty, and the truffle focaccia was so good we ended up ordering a second one. Definitely a great cafe whether you’re looking to work or just enjoy good coffee and food in a relaxed atmosphere.

Worked from this cafe during my stay in Budapest. Very cozy and work-friendly place that got everything that you may need: hot drinks, lunch, dessert and free water. What I liked the most about this place is that they have quite large tables making it comfortable to work. Additionally, the location is very central and is literally in front of the parliament building.

I really love the vibes and the ambience itself is very relaxing, i really like what i ordered which is the hot chocolate i like the bitterness of the chocolate. Also the staff are very friendly. Very cozy place inside and out. Highly recommended this cafe meters away from parliament ❤️

Thank you to the staff for a very efficient experience. This location is very spacious and tidy. After your order they give you a buzzer that way you don’t have to be called by name or stand around waiting like a child on time out. A flat white will run you about $4.50. It’s a great place to work too for all the digital nomads out there. Afterwards you can take a brief stroll to parliament. Köszönöm Madal!

I really wanted to love this cafe because it is all vegan. My husband and I came in for lunch before visiting parliament. I ordered the quesadilla and my husband ordered the pesto pasta. Unfortunately neither were really to our liking, but the quesadilla was a bit better than the pasta. The cheese sauce with chips was really good. The waitress said the most popular menu item is the chicken wrap, so perhaps try that. We did not try their coffee, but it seems to be very popular, so maybe a safer choice as well.

I ordered the Iced Mango Matcha Latte with Oat Milk. Best Matcha i‘ve ever had in my life. I was there 5 minutes ago. So good. 😂🙏🏻
