This restaurant is recently renovated and is very attractive. The food quality is excellent. The service was horrible.
We had reserved at table in the upper balcony and were told it would be very nice. Arrived, no one received us and we eventually found a server who we could talk with. No one knew of our reservation and no table was reserved. We waited 20 minutes and a table was then made available.
We ordered one of the multi course set menus. All the food was delivered at the same time, crowding the small table. The main dishes were getting cold by the time we had eaten our starter and soup course.
The waiters were busy talking to each other in the kitchen, not bothering to attend to customers.
We were assured credit cards were accepted when we reserved the table. When settling the bill we were told they didn’t have a credit card machine. Only cash. We gathered enough cash to pay, then surprisingly a credit card machine appeared and people were paying with credit cards. There did not seem to be any management that was organizing the service and servers were not trained properly.
Again, great food, very poor service, extremely disappointing.
