I recently had the pleasure of working with Madame Miammiam in Köln to create a truly magical wedding cake for my daughter's wedding, and I can't express enough how thrilled I am with the entire experience. Being based in the US, I was initially worried about planning a wedding cake from afar, but Anne and her team made the process seamless and enjoyable. The wedding took place on a cruise, beautifully docked in Köln with the stunning Cathedral as a backdrop. I envisioned a cake that captured the magic of the occasion as well as my daughter's love of fairies and everything magical, and when I explained my ideas to Anne, she understood my vision perfectly. She brought my dream to life with a cake that was not only beautiful but also enchanting in every detail. As the wedding date approached, we faced some challenges with timing due to changing weather conditions and schedules. However, Madame Miammiam was incredibly accommodating and worked closely with me to adjust the delivery time to a local restaurant where the cake would be presented as a surprise for the couple. Their flexibility and commitment to making everything perfect were truly commendable. When the cake finally arrived, it was nothing short of spectacular. My daughter, her husband as well as some other members of the family were overwhelmed with joy, and there were tears of happiness all around as they saw the cake. It was not just a dessert; it was a centerpiece that contributed to making this wedding an unforgettable event. It is a must-visit cake store in Köln. The cakes are not only delicious but also beautifully designed. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth🦷💖

Very happy about this place! I found this cake shop by chance on Google, so I decided to give it a try and I bought a piece of blueberry cake + some nicely decorated cookies to take them home... And I loved them !! Definitely recommend this shop if you're looking for quality cakes.

Ordered a cake from them for my husband's birthday. It was the WORST BIRTHDAY CAKE I have ever eaten in my life! Firstly, the cream on the cake was uneven. Secondly, the cake was so dry and hard - it looked like those instant cake layers you can get from REWE. The brown sides of the cake was not even trimmed off! Don't bother ordering their poor quality cakes!

I am a fan! Optic and Taste excellent thats why I dont mind the high price. Service is not bad either. The cafe or showroom is very tiny but you can try to get a seat outside too.

I'm struggling between a 4 & 5 star review. As stated in earlier reviews, the place is small and a bit pricey but the products are good. We had an apple cheesecake strudel (made with quark), a caramel torte, and cappuccino. Strudel was good. Not too sweet, and I felt somewhat good that the quark is actually greek yogurt. Caramel torte was a bit too sweet for our liking but still good. We're in the process of looking for a wedding cake and made reservations to try some next week. The lady behind the counter (I assume owner and/or baker) was very helpful, patient, and nice. We'll see how the cake tasting goes...more to come.
