Great atmosphere, lovely staff,one of the best meals we've had for a long time 😋. Oysters to die for. The menu clearly states there is a service charge applied, which isn't excessive. It's also clearly written that you are under no obligation to pay it,we were also asked,as were other diners, if we were happy to,I didn't hear anyone object. If we're ever back in the area,we would definitely eat there again,or stay over if possible.

I was impressed, I have tried a lot of places in Ireland and this one is definitely one of my favourite : the cocktails , wine choose , starters , main- excellent, really exceeded the expectations. Would come here again .

Food was really really special. A bit expensive but worth it given the quality, and the comfortable setting. There is a 10% mandatory gratuity, which is not much but I never like when those sort of things are added automatically.

The price are bigger than the portions. It felt like the took half of my mussels, before serving them to me. Service charge is automatically added to the bill…

I have already seen your concern for the guests, and the politeness of one of the team members too.... Even now your reputation does not allow you to apologize for the bad mood that lasted until the end of the day. And it would be better to value the friendly atmosphere and not create a restricted area where ordinary people, who even come for the first time and do not know the reservation, are forced to run around the terraces just to relax and drink delicious beer. Which I will tell you is excellent! Perhaps someday you will find a place not for protocol, but for human hospitality.

Went here for lunch,food was very nice but maybe a little bit pricey hence only 4 stars. Service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. Location is right on the coast with sea views if you sit upstairs or outside. Recommended.

It was very easy to feel such at home. I was upstairs and downstairs, enjoying the landscape (seaside and church). Their meals were delicious. I tried your cod, peri-peri king prawns (5 for 16€), and your pork belly chicharron with a cheese bed, which was spectacular. The attendance was quick and professional. The best oysters I tasted there were the first ones. However, all of them were delicious. Your Irish coffee is a must. Many thanks for your attention, especially to Nadine, who was able to remember even what I had eaten in my previous attendance. Definitely, I will return.

Service charge for two people absolutely ridiculous could not get a receipt either. Waiter v cheeky EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT First of all, I need to correct a few points. I did ask what the service charge was — which is a perfectly reasonable question — and if that was taken as offensive, then I suggest you reflect on why a simple query would be seen that way. Secondly, I did not receive a receipt at the time of payment. Please see the attached image — It does not show proof of payment — there’s no indication that the amount was paid, how it was paid (cash, card, etc.), or any transaction approval code.. I asked for a visa receipt which seemed to anger you. Your comment about how I “spoke to or treated” you . If you’re going to claim otherwise, you might want to consider why you were so offended about a question about the bill.
