I’ve been going to Serkan’s salon regularly, and every visit is perfect from start to finish. Serkan is not only incredibly talented but also genuinely cares about making sure you leave looking and feeling your absolute best. He remembers exactly how I like my hair, always gives me great advice, and somehow manages to make each appointment feel like a little luxury escape. My hair has never looked healthier, and I always get compliments after my visits. It’s rare to find someone so consistent, professional, and warm — that’s why I keep coming back. Couldn’t recommend Serkan and his Salon enough.

The service and care has always been unbeatable and very genuine. My mother, sisters and I have been seeing Serkan for the past two years and would not see anyone else now that we have found them. I cannot recommend it highly enough and I can always get an appointment when I need one and the staff are friendly and very highly trained.

I have been getting my hair done since I was 16 and now at 42 I can honestly say I have never been so happy with my hair. The service is amazing. They really listen to what you want and the prices are amazing. Very highly recommended. I will only ever go here from now on.

I have been going to this hairdressers for several years and have always had a great service! They are very professional and I have not been able to find a better place to do my highlights, haircut and styling in Whetstone or even other places in central London. Their prices are very reasonable, they don’t rush you and give you good advice on care and styling! Definitely recommend them!

AWFUL service and experience! The colour of my hair turned out to be the exact colour I asked them NOT to do. They make up prices! I called ahead and asked the exact price of the haircut and colour, explaining that I had long hair but when I got there they told me it would be more, so I carried on as I had an event to attend that evening. I went with a friend who had a basic hair cut, however another customer walked in half way through and was given a cheaper price for the EXACT SAME service. We asked MadeinWhetstone about this and the main guy just shrugged his shoulders and ignored us.

I arrived there after having booked a hair updo and blowout for my sister in law on treatwell to find the salon completely empty with two men chatting away at the front. When I approached them and told them I had a booking an older man seemed confused and passive aggressive in asking how I booked, I confirmed it was through treatwell but he seemed to have no record of it. Then after a phone call to someone (who I assume now is the owner) he sat us down. I showed him photos of the hair I wanted but he kept scrunching my hair upwards and asking if I wanted that (that's not what I wanted nor what I was showing him). He then accused me of not knowing what I wanted, to which I showed him another photo of an easier hair do which he also scrunched my hair up and asked if it looked good (it did not). He became more and more irate with me as I didn't want to pay £60 for a mediocre hairstyle and then handed me the phone and the owner was on the other end asking me to leave and request a refund from treatwell since I was confused. I honestly thought it was a joke and had her repeat what she said. Needless to say I promptly gathered my things and walked across to Lavish where I had two wonderful gents do my hair. If you would like to be ridiculed, talked down to and then kicked out, then this is your place. Never left a review like this before, never had such an awful experience before either.
