Great vibes! The atmosphere was perfect for a night out. The hostess was friendly and beautiful. We tried a few of the grilled dishes, everything was good. Loved the presentation and the flavours. Try to avoid wearing shorts, caps, or overly casual clothing, you may be turned away at the door depending on the dress code.

I visited recently and was quite disappointed with the experience. I ordered a glass of wine priced at $25 for 5Oz (quarter of wine glass) even in Las Vegas you don’t get charged this much seeing this in Toronto where there is a lot of competition I find it disappointing . Also after tax and an automatic 20% gratuity, the total came out significantly higher without any real service to justify it. There were no recommendations, no interaction, and minimal service from the server, yet the gratuity was applied as if it had been an exceptional dining experience. I understand the cost of running a business and that establishments may still be recovering, but placing the financial burden on customers in this way feels unreasonable. When prices are already high, customers should at the very least receive attentive service. Unfortunately, this felt more like taking advantage than delivering value.

I decided to celebrate my birthday here and I would definitely come back to try more dishes and see more of what the evening entertainment has to offer. While we were there, they had a harpist and a cellist playing music every so often, which was nice! The place/decor is really nice, especially the wrap around upper floor overlooking everything. We ordered the grilled octopus starter which was seasoned and cooked to perfection, just wish it had more than just one piece of octopus tentacle. For the main we got the hot seafood platter with mashed potatoes and mushrooms as a side, everything was very tasty. And for dessert we got the sundae which was absolutely enormous and also did not disappoint.

The meal was unremarkable; however, the service was exceptional, and the ambiance was quite enjoyable. The live music and dancing were highlights. The noise level was excessive, making conversation difficult (could barely hear the person beside me). The overall value proposition appears to prioritize the atmosphere and service over the quality of the food. Would I go here again: Maybe. Would I recommend to a friend: if they want a dining experience, yes, if they are a foodie, no.

I had a mixed experience at Mademoiselle. When I arrived, I was told I couldn’t come in because I was wearing flats. I wore flats due to foot pain and I told the security that at the entrance. I saw other guests going into the restaurant with similar flats. I had to speak to the manager and essentially beg to be let in, which was embarrassing and unnecessary. Once seated, the service was inconsistent. Our main server was friendly and helpful, but another staff member kept rushing to clean the table - even going as far as picking up my phone to remove a placemat, which felt intrusive. On the positive side, the food was very good. My friends ordered steaks and salmon, and I had the salmon as well — it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. That said, the poor handling at the door and the rushed, uncomfortable atmosphere left a bad impression. Good food alone isn’t enough to make me want to return.

Mademoiselle Raw Ball and Grill is a fantastic spot! The ambiance is vibrant and inviting, setting the perfect mood for a great night out. The food is delicious, with fresh flavors and creative dishes that impress. Their drinks menu is also top-notch, offering unique cocktails that perfectly complement the meal. Highly recommend!

Went to Mademoiselle for a friends birthday! We ordered a bunch of different items but the sushi was really good - shockingly some of the best i’ve had! The tomahawk steak was super juicy and flavourful. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The service could be a bit better tho!!!

Yelp
We were there on the weekday night in the summer and to my surprise we were to only one there! We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. The lighting is dim and upbeat music...it is not a typical restaurant but we enjoyed it. Service was great as we were the only table there. Seafood tower is good and fresh. We ordered a couple other dishes - octopus and pasta and they were both above average. The price is on the high side but the restaurant is situated in the core of downtown which is expected. Overall, our experience was good!

Yelp
Food is good...thank god Asians and brown people as the chefs. Service is annoying..and they literally charged us $65 for water because we didn't say tap water when they asked do you want still or sparkling....Since only two choices, we assumed still was tap water. also they kept bringing water to the table without asking if we wanted any and then taking the bottles away so then you don't know how many they actually brought....they won't allow you to cut a birthday cake if I brought it for my friend who was celebrating nor did they ask to put in the fridge...most expensive restaurants usually are attentive and really take care of that stuff for you. The decor is great...venue is nice but literally you are there for pictures cause food is so small, good and expensive literally for no reason ! even the cocktails are overpriced....seems like a front for something else cause hardly anyone was there when we went. a few people celebrating birthdays came later...!

Yelp
Went here during my trip to Toronto to stop for a quick bite and a cocktail and the customer service was great and the ambience was beautiful. I will definitely come back here during another stay. The owner even came around and greeted us, which was extremely nice.

Yelp
Visited Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill for a mid-tier dining experience and left with mixed feelings. The atmosphere was amazing, creating a pleasant ambiance that added to the overall dining experience. The staff, without a doubt, contributed significantly to the positive vibes -- attentive, friendly, and accommodating. However, when it comes to the food, it fell a bit short of expectations. While it was okay, there was nothing extraordinary that stood out. The menu had potential, but the execution didn't quite reach the level of excellence I was hoping for. Despite the food being just average, I must emphasize the overall politeness and professionalism of the staff, which made the visit enjoyable. If you're seeking a great atmosphere and excellent service in a mid-tier setting, Mademoiselle Raw Bar + Grill might just hit the spot.

Yelp
I walked into this restaurant and was amazed by the aesthetics because I remembered seeing a similar popular restaurant on Instagram but couldn't remember the name! I simply asked the two blonde girls working at the reception if this restaurant was the famous restaurant on Instagram and they rude, disgusting attitude I was given from them was honestly such a turn off from ever eating from that restaurant. To be told, "well you should know because you walked into the restaurant" is such a bad representation of a business. A pretty face and bad attitude means nothing. What a way to turnoff future business. Get well!

Yelp
We had such a lovely summerlicious experience here. Our servers were so friendly and helpful and we're always there when we needed them and had lots of great suggestions. The ambiance is so cool! It feels like you're on a different world because of the blue purple lighting. The bar has an art deco look to it and then there are these trees all around that are lit up with these purple lights And it really feels like you've gone through the looking glass. The summer licious menu was wonderful. We tried the buffalo mozzarella which was huge and so yummy, as well as the Crudo, which had lovely flavours and textures. For my main I had the chicken, and it was the absolute winner. The sauce that went along with it was so yummy. For dessert I was the winner again by getting the black forest "cake". It looked like something out of Alice in Wonderland and it tasted delicious! This isn't somewhere I would go all the time because it's expensive, but it is so beautiful and I found it to be really worth the money for the food.

Yelp
What a great place! My friend and I came here for our annual Christmas Dinner. She had been before and enjoyed the drinks and food so suggested that we come here as well. At 7, all the tables were taken so I would recommend making a reservation on Saturday nights. My friend had reserved the high top tail as you get a good view of the entire place. Service was excellent; we had Francesca who took care of our table. The food and drinks menu has something for every palette. We opted to order sushi rolls along with their truffle fries and mashed potatoes. Not on the menu is the vegan roll, which is really good. It has avocado with truffle oil. As for drinks, they have some really unique cocktails. I'm not a cocktail person, but had to try a couple. At around 9, it became really busy at the bar and the DJ started playing music louder. Overall a fun place to go on Saturday night for dinner. Good for: dinner, drinks NB - they have free coat check

Yelp
We came for summerlicious and it was a disappointing experience overall. Food was not worth it. I would steer clear of this place. First, they took our camera for coat check. It's a vintage film camera which we reluctantly handed over , but was also not given any reason why they had to take the camera. Our phones all have cameras, so clearly photography is not an issue. Great start from the front door. We got seated and they gave us every menu but not the summerlicious one. We waited a while before a server finally came to see how we were and then she had to go get us the summerlicious menu. We took a few minutes to decide and actually wanted to order additional items off the regular menu too. Here's a kicker. You can only order from the summerlicious menu OR the main. Not both. And the entire table has to do the same. Because it apparently messes up the kitchens ability to push out food and the bill looks messy. ‍ I cannot compute... So you're telling me if I order 6 items each person from the main menu, your kitchen can handle it. But if we order from the summerlicious menu and want to add an extra appetizer, it throws off all your operations. Sounds like someone didn't want to bother programming the POS to combine the $75 flat summerlicious fee with other regular menu items. Or you know.... Just put it on a separate bill. They should have posted this somewhere or told us when we made the reservation. We did share that we wanted to come for summerlicious. And thanks for leaving us with the regular menu then for ten whole minutes before even sharing the summerlicious one. At the end though, we're not upset because the food was also subpar. I don't think we would have enjoyed the regular menu anyway. We had the octopus and crudo appetizers. Octopus was grilled so poorly it was beyond charred and burnt on the thin end. It's sad because the thick part of the octopus had a nice soft texture. I also appreciated the abundance of dressing and frisee salad that came with it. The crudo was the highlight of the night. Well balanced yuzu dressing. The steak frites was bad. It was a cheap cut which I think she said was bavette (aka flank). It was a bit stringy and not very flavored. The jus that came with it was good though. The fries were soft and limpy and definitely not frites. How do you mess up fries?! It's so disappointing because this was a $75 summerlicious. It's supposed to be the TOP TIER and it absolutely was not worth it. I had the salmon. It was the driest salmon... It didn't taste seasoned. I actually enjoyed the lentils and red pepper like puree underneath it far more. Dessert was better. Key lime pie was good, the s'mores was okay (bit too sweet and not much dimension in flavor) and the red forest cake was good. That one was the most fun looking and I appreciated that it was not as sweet as the other desserts. 100% would not recommend this place. I usually say to try it for yourself, but I don't even think it's worth it. It's just another fancy place in a fancy location that's charging you a ridiculous amount for subpar food that they stack pretty. Then they hire all these pretty girls to wear revealing outfits and short skirts and make a clubbing vibe with the lights. I can't even tell if the girls are comfortable but definitely can tell that a lot of them didn't choose hospitality (rolling of the eyes gives it away when you keep doing it in the front of house). And you'll basically be going to pay for what I assume is a ridiculous rent for them. Don't fall for it. There's much much better food in Toronto that's cooked and served with passion .

Nora T.

Yelp
I had the WORST experience at this place. The owner was rude and confrontational, speaking to customers in an aggressive manner. The place seems to attract a lower-class crowd, and the overall atmosphere was far from welcoming. The treatment I received as a customer was poor, with staff being unprofessional and inattentive. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect and good service. I certainly won't be coming back.

Yelp
I called and made a reservation on the Summer Greek night but was not told about the $200 "Greek experience" fee as emails are usually sent to your mailing list about the Summer Greek Nights. When I brought the additional fee up with my waitress, she didn't know how to respond and said that she was going to get the manager. 30 minutes later, the manager came over to us to let us know that the $200 charge was the price of the Hookah. That was a lie because if that was the case, the waitress would've have let us know that initially. Additionally, there was already a charge for "Sheesha/Hookah" on our bill already. The manager compasated our first round of drinks but covering a $19 drink vs a random $200 is not even comparable. We also were charged an automatic $60 gratuity for a party of 2! Their website states that gratuity is usually charged at 18% for any parties of 6 or more yet we were a party of 2 and were charged a $60 gratuity. I frequent mademoiselle often to lounge at the bar and was very disappointed at the mischief and dishonesty. Imagine going to a restaurant, having 2 appetizers, 2 drinks, and getting sheesha, and ending up with a bill over $400 that the wait staff couldn't even explain.

I've been to madem a lot of times. The food is really spectacular, and the drinks are good

Yelp
A friend and I dropped in for dinner around 5pm. When you walk in the ambiance and decor was very nice. It is hard to believe that this place was once was a strip club lol. We ordered the "Arod" Roll which was the spicy salmon roll it was decent but nothing special and at $19 was pretty high for what is what. Next we shared the grilled Octopus. One decent size arm on top a sweet potato puree. The octopus was tender and the presentation was nice. Our main dish was the salt baked whole red snapper. The waiter took good care excavating the fish in front of us and it was like a mini show. The fish was very tender but on the smallish side and the two of us had a couple small portions. There were no other accompaniments and we didn't order any sides so that was a miss. I think for $75.00 it should of came with some kind of side. Also had the "Ginger Divine" cocktail $$$. Overall, the service was very good. Everyone was friendly and attentive. We came around 5pm so it wasn't busy yet. The food overall was good and nicely presented but on the pricey side for what you got ... bring your wallet. :) This place would be a good date place and It was good to check out once but I probably wouldn't go back.

Yelp
I came here for my birthday with a couple of friends and had a really good time. Ambiance: In terms of the setting I would say five out of five, it was really nice, the bathrooms had a full length mirror for cute selfies and super well decorated. (5/5) Service: Our server, Nelson, was super sweet and very attentive. The moment he found out that most of us at the table spoke French he started addressing us in French which was super considerate. (5/5) Food: The food was good... But very average considering the price. It was super expensive for tiny portions so we were not that full, but it was fine because we had a good time with the people that we are with and the ambiance overall. (3/5)

Yelp
This is a fine dining 2-level supper-club in the Toronto Entertainment District. From 5:00-8:00pm, it is a fine dining southern French restaurant featuring seafood and some steak/lamb. There are sushi and sashimi available too; hence the "raw bar". From 8:00pm to 2:00am, it becomes more of a supper-club with DJ music and lights (the lights move late-night). There are many different areas on the two floors. There is the main dining area on the ground floor, a fancy lit-up bar with bar seating, a sushi bar, and a Dom Perignon mirror wall, and a Miami coast wall. Upstairs, there are more dining areas but there is a small lounge area and a small bar. The DJ is also on the 2nd floor. The lights slowly get brighter as the night goes on; the music also gets louder. For example, the sushi bar is slightly lit at 5:00pm but by 9:00pm, it is full of colour. The staff are very courteous, very attentive, and helpful. Our server, Shkurta, was thoroughly amazing. The menu changes regularly to reflect fresh seafood and local produce. For drinks, we had a bottle of Vellemo still water ($9), Orange Juice ($5), a virgin cocktail ($7), and a Ginger Divine cocktail ($25). The virgin cocktail consists of passion fruit, pineapple, lime juice, and Sprite - very delicious. The Ginger Divine has "El Gobernador" Pisco, Blue Curacao, Honey Chamomile, Lime, and Ginger Beer. Appetizers are $16-$30. We ordered the Shrimp Cocktail ($24) which has 3 jumbo (and I mean giant!) shrimp. It was so meaty and succulent. We also ordered the Lobster Bisque ($30) which has lobster tail, creme fraiche, chive, Oscetra caviar, and micro fennel. The bisque is poured at your table. It was a great combination of tastes. Japanese food are $19 to $65. There is a decadent $100 roll that has Oscetra caviar, truffle, gold flakes, foie gras (pate), a slice of A5 wagyu beef, lobster tempura, Hennessey soy glaze, and spicy mayo. Definitely decadent and delicious! We had to try another dish from the sushi bar: Wagyu Tataki ($60). It has A5 wagyu beef, crispy quinoa, bentitade chives, sesame, spicy ponzu. Who doesn't like A5 wagyu and this didn't disappoint and the mixture of ingredients compliment the beef well. We also had a Seafood Tower ($150) which has a half lobster, oysters, king crab legs, mussels, shrimp cocktail, and tuna tartare. The oysters and king crab legs were so delicious. Because the crab legs were sliced in half, it only required a fork to lift out the entire carb meat. We didn't order the Ultimate Seafood Tower ($330) which has an extra layer containing assorted sashimi and 10 gm of Ostra Caviar (which costs $75 if ordered separately). You can also indulge in Oscetra or Beluga) caviar from $75 to $300 per serving! There are your standard steaks but there are also Fiorentina Steak 34oz (Tuscan cuisine) for $180 and Bone in Tomahawk Steak 45oz for $195! Tomahawk steaks are absolutely delicious! We chose the Osso Buco ($40) with mashed potatoes, baby carrots, leeks, and gremolata. This is a Lombardy cuisine with cross-cut veal shanks. The veal was so tender that you can peel it off the bone with a fork. If you feel like splurging even more, get a Mademoiselle Platter for $450! It comes with Bone-in Tomahawk Steak, Grilled Snapper, Lamb Chops, Jumbo Prawns, Twice-baked Caviar Potato, Aparagus, Mushrooms, Fries. Hope you are hungry! You can bring well-behaved children if you wish (don't expect a high-chair!), but it is best between 5:00-8:00pm. We brought our 8-year-old son with us. For him, we ordered the Lobster Mac ($24) and Truffle Fries ($14). The former has momay sauce, lobster, and cheddar bread crumbs. Of course no meal is complete without dessert! We ordered Ice Cream Sundae ($12), S'mores ($12) and Chocolate Mousse Cake ($12). The Ice Cream Sundae comes with vanilla ice cream, sweet & nutty blonde, strawberry sauce, white chocolate crisp, and maraschino cherry. The S'mores has graham cracker crumbs, chocolate terrine, and marshmallow made to look like a spiky shell. The Chocolate Mousse Cake has layered chocolate mousse, raspberry jelly, rose sponge cake, milk chocolate chantilly, and meringue kisses. This supper-club had its grand opening on 2022-05-12. The building used have a strip club called "For Your Eyes Only"; you'll find two homages to it, one just inside the entrance. Upper management do walk around. We met Peter Girges (owner), Ana-Maria (managing partner), and Ryan Bauer (general manager). There is no free WiFi. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible but not upstairs. There is a male washroom and a wheelchair accessible gender-neutral washroom on the ground floor. There is a female washrooms upstairs. Washrooms are chicly-decorated. There is limited paid neighbourhood street parking, especially when the entertainment district is in full swing. Review 2022-061 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

Yelp
This place is more of a club that happens to serve expensive food. I came here to celebrate a birthday with my friend. The vibe is definitely a club atmosphere with a DJ. Great interior deco and music! And like at some fancy clubs, there is a person in the washroom who hands you a paper towel. God I never understood this. I feel awkward and they are probably bored out of their mind. When it comes to the food menu, I would say expect mediocre tasting food with high prices. Avoid the spicy tuna roll and hamachi crudo - there was 0 flavour. The Osso buco was quite good and large portion. Finally, I would say the lobster Mac is average. It would've been better if they added more pieces of lobster. I could count on one hand the number of small lobster pieces. It's a side not a main dish so I guess maybe that's why. I actually liked dessert the most. We got beignets which were really delicious. The staff came out with sparklers to cheer on the birthday boy which was fun.

Yelp
Mademoiselle is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. The Decor and Bar are beautiful and the food is always delicious and top notch. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant books up very quickly. The staff are always so friendly and helpful with recommendations. We ordered the Grilled Octopus and Salmon Roll as our appetizers. The Octopus was grilled to perfection. I have had Octopus at other restaurants and they were always overcooked or rubbery. Not at Mademoiselle. They grill it perfectly. The Salmon Roll was fresh and delicious, with interesting ingredients. For the mains, we ordered the Wild Salmon and the Sweet and Spicy Cod. They were both so fresh and delicious! The sides worked so perfectly with them. I highly recommend Mademoiselle. They never disappoint!

Yelp
Came here for happy hour. Overpriced , portions are small. Drinks were not boozy. Our server was nice

Yelp
Food was alright I had the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were a fair size but there were only three of them. We also shared the Fuck You sushi roll and I had the lobster spaghetti. All were good but not nearly worth the price. Normally, I'd say we were paying for ambiance but I can't say that here. This place is really douche bag central with Drake wannabes everywhere and so many 20 something aspiring influencers who have messed their faces up with so much Botox and fillers before the age of thirty that it's almost tragic. It really is the worst of the worst of Toronto's King W. Add to this, I think the lighting is the original lighting from the strip club that preceded this place Apparently, the dress code outlined on OpenTable is not enforced. (Either that or emblazoning "DIOR" across the chest of a cheap knock off t-shirt makes it "haute coutour") The worst part is the music. I get it. You want music but to jack it to the volume that it is, is unreasonable. You literally cannot even begin to hold any conversation. Price - huge for what you get Food - okay but the keg across the road is more value for your dollar and I think this place may source their tuna tartar from there as it looks the same Ambiance - if douche were a pudding, Bill Cosby would be doing commercials for this place Noise level - intolerable Wont be back (at least not on my nickel)

Yelp
Previously For Your Eyes strip club and now a foncy restaurant from the people that owns Marbl down the street on King St. It's surely the hot spot this summer and will likely be the most challenging mission to obtain a reservation here. Nonetheless, it is exactly what Toronto is missing right now and we need more of it! The exterior of the building is like a postcard from Greece, but the interior will surely be the spot to post up on your Instagram this summer. It's got a mix of Miami and European vibes, upbeat music, great entertainment like the eccentric mime hopping table to table, and the beautiful guests and staff that makes you feel guilty to stare. The food is similar to the Marbl menu and presentation. Star Chef Daniel made it super possible for me to also enjoy some fine dining here with his customized vegan dishes, like the vegan Arod roll and vegan salmon ceviche. (Thank you Chef!) My friend had sent him a DM on IG informing the restaurant of the one vegan friend and made it all possible. We had ordered almost everything on the menu it seems because there were just so many dishes popping up throughout the evening. We probably had two courses of mains. Our group of 5 ladies was just excited to try out the new place and wanted to try everything from the Lamb Chops to the Bone in Tomahawk 45oz and the F U Roll. Yes that's right the F U Roll, which consists of wagyu, foie gras, truffle, lobster tempura, caviar, Hennessy soy glaze and spicy mayo. This roll is $100! And yes my friends had to try it, but did not enjoy it as much. Not worth the $100. The cocktails are Uber expensive. Like $45 for Next on Stage and $30 for Cocoa Chanel cocktail. Again, not their favourites. Other than that there were some good and some not so good items on the menu. Overall, overpriced for the most part but the scene is fun and would like return to pop bottles and enjoy the good music and vibes.

Yelp
I was nervous to come based off the reviews and unfortunately I should have trusted my gut.everything is over priced compared to the quality of food and drink , staff is not well trained at all and extremely rude . Please don't bother trying to get help from a Manager or owner they are no help , also seating is very uncomfortable and not meant for more than 4 people . If you were debating coming here it is best to find another location .

Yelp
Agressive, rude bouncers. Lied about weeks in advance booking looking perhaps for ap "donation" to enter the premises even at 10 when there was no line up. They are hurting the owners and turning away disgruntled customers. I don't drink so the excuse that people drink and harrass bouncers is fiction. It used to be a strip club converted to a pop up booze hole.

Yelp
Had to try this new summer hot spot that kept popping up on my IG feed. first impressions: bouncer at the door was friendly, front staff was nice and polite. we had a drink authentic bar while the rest of our table arrived. Bar staff were social and made great recommendations! specialty cocktails were overpriced ($30-45) for something pretty basic. tables are small for the number of people they have on them, we were a table for 4 but 3 of us were snuggled knocking elbows on the couch and there was barely room for plates and cutlery. decor is beautiful, its got a modern Gatsby vibe with the high lit arches around the bar and the lit crown moulding between floors. the music was great (too loud for quiet conversation, definitely not a first date recommendation). the food was okay, nothing really to write home about. started with the oysters (they were probably the smallest oysters I've ever seen) definitely not worth their $5/pc price tag. we also had the bone in rib eye which was pretty standard, cooked to your liking but came slightly overcooked. the clam linguini had so much potential! the sauce was to tie for, the pasta was cooked aldente, portion was decent (a little small for my personal taste) and then it was garnished with 6 little neck clams (overcooked and rubbery they had shrunk to the size of canned clams). the truffle fries were rhe best part of the food to be honest. definitely an overpriced menu. lastly, the service, we had a lovely server who came to check on us regularly, making sure everything was okay throughout our evening. my one comment regarding servers would've been that all through our time there I would see them huddled at the back either chatting or on their phones, it was a little weird to see to be honest. overall, nice atmosphere, might go back for a drink and the music, but definitely not worth the price.

Yelp
DO NOT RECOMMEND - GOT HARASSED AND SLANDERED BY OWNER. Silent partner/owner Dalton came up to us and started out flirting with my bestfriend, buying us drinks and talking to us.The other partner was there and introduced and came up as well proceeding to ask her where she worked. She said she serves and does bottle service and exchanged contact information for a possible job opportunity. Immediately after this happened Dalton got really upset with my friend and made it to seem as if he wanted her to chase after him and kiss his ass. Obviously her being in a long term relationship we were trying to communicate to him she only gave contact information due to a job opportunity that was discussed with the other partner. He was pissed off he didn't have a shot. Tried playing the race card too and my bestfriend has been in the long term relationship with a black man for YEARSSSS. He also yelled at me and her and embarrassed us infront of everyone. My first girls night in MONTHS ruined by a man with an ego issue. 1. Owners should not let their egos get in the way of their business 2. You should yell or swear at girls just trying to mind their own business 3. If someone hurt you, talk like an adult and don't throw a temper tantrum like a child who needs to be sat in a corner 4. Don't disrespect your customers no matter what especially if you're flirting with them and they turn you down. P.S. power doesn't give you the right to treat others like shit. I will be posting this to over 20k followers on my socials as well. Wish i could give out 0 stars.

Yelp
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your restaurant on Valentine's Day. I had made a dinner reservation for 9pm and was looking forward to spending a romantic evening with my partner. However, my experience was marred by an incident with one of your security staff. Upon arriving at your establishment, I was stopped by a security personnel who informed me that my attire was not appropriate for your restaurant. I explained to him that I was dressed appropriately for the occasion, but he did not seem to understand. He went to check with the owner and then allowed us to enter the restaurant. I was wearing a high-end Dior jacket, a matching Italian black polo set, and coordinating bottoms. I believe that my attire was both stylish and appropriate for a Valentine's Day dinner at your restaurant. However, as I was about to enter, the same security staff member put his hands on me and prevented me from entering. He accused me of being disrespectful in my explanation, even though I had been polite and respectful throughout the encounter. He should have apologized for his initial misunderstanding, but instead chose to escalate the situation and make me feel unwelcome. I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of your security staff member and his handling of the situation. This type of behavior is not acceptable, and I expect better from your establishment. As a paying customer, I should not be subjected to such treatment. I hope you will take this matter seriously and ensure that all of your staff members are properly trained in handling customer interactions and enforcing your dress code policy. Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with how your security staff member treated me and the overall experience I had at your establishment. I dine at restaurants in Toronto like Harbour 60, Blue blood Steakhouse, Kasa Motta and Jacobs steak house very often and have never had such a horrible experience. I had planned on becoming a repeat customer, but due to this negative experience, I will never dine at Mabel or Mademoiselle Toronto again. I will be advising my friends and family to avoid dining at your establishment, dine at places that actually value their customers regardless if they fit a so "dress code"

Yelp
Good for partying but too loud for just normal dining. The food is just okay but not sure if it was worth it plus the portions are pretty small. The real issue here is the black bald bouncer at the front who dress coded me, an Asian woman, and another white woman for having tops that were "not appropriate", and he made me cover up. Yet I saw him let in black girls who were wearing tops similar to mine or even smaller without telling them anything. Two waitresses were telling me how there were some girls in there practically wearing nothing and that the bouncer's behaviour was unacceptable and that they would report him to head security. While I was leaving I went to confront him and he kept cutting me off to "let him speak first" in such a disrespectful and condescending tone. After I spoke to him and the owner, I saw another girl come out to confront him as well. I don't even understand how this guy still has a job and was able to profile and treat paying customers this way. Totally unacceptable.

Yelp
I don't know where to begin but this place was such a disappointment. It's definitely over hyped and I don't understand the long lineups to get in. I initially thought this place was a restaurant with a reasonable lounging area since there's a long line to get in for just drinks. it is not, it's just a restaurant with no space to lounge except the bar area which isnt big it's super packed and just impossible to move. I attended a birthday dinner with a total of 8 ppl. Our waiter was really sweet and the reason why this place is getting two stars. 1. I wont complain about the prices of the food and drinks because I get it. They have an aesthetic to keep up with and a certain crowd to attract and bring in the Boujee clientele. I will say that in order to match that you need to back it up with the service, food & drinks and ambiance. It's not all just visuals and an aesthetically pleasing staff/Resturant. The drinks were meh the ladies felt like they skimped out on the alcohol. I ordered the Negroni sbagliato which is always delicious, the Old fashioned was up to par (you can't fuck it up as it's literally just alcohol). The gin and tonic wasn't gining and the rest were meh. The appetizers were amazing, we all enjoyed, the mussels , lil gem, frito misto, tuna tartare, truffle fries (the truffle was definitely missing, maybe it was in the sauce but it was still delicious) but you can't really fuck up these appetizers as they are staples for most restaurants to have. The mains were a major disappointment! We ordered the lamb chops, lobster pasta, rigatoni salmon, osso buco & Branzino . I had the lamb chops and it was very fatty, bland and lacked seasoning. It was really dim in the restaurant so I thought that maybe it was the one piece of lamb but it wasn't I ate another one and 60% of the lamb chop was just fat with no seasoning/flavour. The whole dish just lacked some TLC. The Osso buco was even worse, there's was no basic seasoning, they literally took the meat and cooked without adding anything to it. The whole thing wasn't eaten and barely touched. I honestly regret not getting management involved because it wasn't good at all. The lobster pasta and Rigatoni were very bland and it lacked flavor. The salmon was dryer then the Sahara desert, the Bronzino was actually very well prepared my friend was very lucky to have the only tasty item on the menu. 2. There's a 3hr time limit for each table and some of the ladies ended up getting their second drinks late. It would have been hospitable to allow our table to finish up their drinks instead of telling us to leave the table with unfinished drinks. We had no choice but to wait at the very packed bar area with no where to move and stand and also not be in the way of the waiters going in and out of the bar. There was simply no other area to stand. 3. THE DJ WAS AWFUL !!!!! I'm not sure if it's like this every weekend but the music was way too loud, the DJ wasn't doing the DJ Stuff, music selection was awful and it wasn't a vibe. He kept shouting out the part owner of the restaurant who was there to celebrate being part owner and it was just honestly a disturbance to our already horrible meals. I wouldn't recommend coming here for dinner maybe for drinks at the bar if there is space or if your able to get a table for just drinks. I usually come back to restaurants I didn't enjoy as much in 6 months or a year from my last visit because some do make changes and the experience/ food are a lot better the second visit but I won't be doing that with this place because I don't thinks it's going to be around in the next year or two.

Yelp
This is my favourite place in Toronto. The front desk is so sweet and always emails back quickly. The staff from the owner to the managers to the bartenders and servers are always consistently amazing and on top of their game . They make everyone feel welcome and like a friend. The food is delicious . Everything i have ordered is very flavourful and for A Toronto venue - the value is very good. Remember you are going to one of the most beautiful places in the city not a dive bar. The clientele and ambiance is fun and well dressed. Some other reviewers are simply jealous and nasty. Who orders a 100 sushi roll and then complains about value ?? There is something on the menu for all. The DJs are diverse and it's always good vibes and a party !! Ps. The desserts are super yummy too !! If you want a fun time , with delicious food, excellent atmosphere and beautiful venue - this is the place to go!!

Yelp
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant when we were given a shorter table when we reserved for 12. Not only was the mistake frustrating, but the owner's response (Peter) was also VERY RUDE in his own words to tell us "GET THE F*** OUT" just because we were trying to explain we reserved for a bigger table. It's important to treat customers with respect even in difficult situations. I hope the management addresses these issues to create a better dining experience.

Yelp
Went here on a girls night out. Setting and ambience was 10/10. Very aesthetically pleasing and "Instagramable". We ordered the sushi and truffle fries to start which both were up to standard. For my main I got the chicken which was pretty bland not bad but under seasoned.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic. My favorite restaurant in Toronto, anytime i am in the city it is my must go to. Starting from hostesses at the front everyone is so friendly, in a good mood, the vibe of the place is on another level. All the stuff members are beautiful and their looks match their personality vibes, great customer service and the food is just wow, and if something is not to your liking they go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your meal and experience. So happy the restaurants like that exist where you can enjoy a good meal and ambiance at the same time. 10/10!

Yelp
Very underwhelming Experience. 1. The music is so loud like a club so cannot hear our friends over dinner, 2. You eat hunched over as the chair is too high for the table which looks like a night stand not very romantic. 3. You are squeezed into small tables and people constantly bump into you while your eating because there is no space to walk around. 4. I ordered the Lobster. Is this a joke. It was all bones and no meat for over $100. 5. There is no place to actually dance so everyone is hovered over at the bar area looking around wanting to dance but since there is no dance floor there is no room. 6. Overpriced and not a good experience. Will never return. 7. There is an attendant in the bathroom. I dislike this. 8. I specifically asked for less oil on asparagus they brought it to me with heavy oil with a napkin asking me to take off the oil myself. If they paid me $200 I would not dine here. This may be the in place this year but I cannot see this place staying in business or lasting based on the above.

Yelp
We had reserved (months in advance) a table for 10 to celebrate a milestone birthday of a special friend. When we arrived, we were seated at a table for 8 people. We were literally crammed with zero comfort. One of us even had to endure the tilted end of the couch. We asked for an additional table - to no avail. The manager Ryan passed by at the end of dinner and when we mentioned that we were quite uncomfortable the whole time, he shrugged and said "But you enjoyed the food, right?" To this I shrug and say - clearly a place we would not be recommending to others.

Yelp
Food was disgusting as well as rude waitstaff and management. Save your money and go elsewhere

Yelp
I would NEVER come back to this place. The front security before you walk in is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. I booked a party of 14 for my boyfriends birthday, right at our arrival the man in the front had an unwelcoming approach. Everyone was wearing high end expensive clothing , some were wearing sweaters (fitted ones) the bouncer immediately told them they had to remove their sweaters to enter, Of course we were all surprised as I have never heard this before but everyone was willing to remove them to respect the owners wishes. However I must say the delivery and hostility of the security guy was un called for. He repeated himself over and over and over making snarky comments as everyone was removing their sweaters. Everyone came to have a good time , eat and enjoy the night which was ruined due to first encounter. The other guy I'm assuming was manager was rude as well. Saying if we don't like it get out. I politely told him maybe instead of talking to people this way as a manager you should take into consideration what your CUSTOMERS are saying to you. When we were finally seated and ready to order. We were told we could not order individual meals as we were to many. We had to order the one platter they offer, we couldn't customize it even though at least 3 people had seafood allergies. It was confusing and disorganized. I was never told about the platters. They argued and said i was sent an email. I had to literally go into my emails and show the waitress that I had never received the email explaining this. She did say sorry and that she would speak to someone , she never did but at that point I was pretty over the entire night to even care anymore. Overall giving a 1 star is polite. I think the owner should look at how the security treats his customers because they are the first people we see ! First impression is everything. Overall I would never come back or recommend this place to anyone. Oh and the food was nothing special.. taste was basic. Oh and the jumbo shrimp was burned and as salty as the bouncer in the front.

Yelp
DO NOT GET THE OYSTERS HERE!! I have been sick for days on end because of the oysters here. Also on top of that the staff and security are so unprofessional and do not care to be hospitable to their guests. My friend went here descent and got physically assaulted by the security. Please be careful guys. This place is very "instagram aesthetic" but not proper service to human beings.

Yelp
Management and security staff at this establishment are absolutely horrible. You get charged an above average amount for food and drinks and then get treated like crap for the remainder of the night. I have never seen anything like this and can't believe that this place is still in business. DO NOT RECOMMED
