I went into Madewell specifically to try on petite jeans and was really looking forward to finding a good fit. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. When I asked for petite styles, the associate looked me up and down and asked—with clear attitude—why I thought I was petite. It felt dismissive and uncomfortable. She reluctantly brought out just two pairs, made no effort to offer other options, and seemed uninterested in helping further. I expected better service and a more welcoming attitude, especially when shopping for something as personal as jeans. Disappointed.
