The best safari experience we have ever had. We stayed at The Last Word lodge. The activity at the water hole was stunning. The staff were so friendly and catered to our every need. The food was excellent. The game drives were amazing. Our guide, StJohn, had an encyclopedic knowledge of the wild life in the reserve which had large herds of impala, zebra, wildebeest and elephants. Watching the elephants interacting at the water hole was the highlight for me. Also the number of rhino was impressive and watching the baboons playing and going up the pylons to sleep was so interesting. We saw lion cubs, lionesses and the whole pride together with one male. It was an amazing 3 days. Would highly recommend.

Incredible wild life with tons of opportunities to see zebras 🦓, wilderbeast, springboks, elephants, lions 🦁, rhinos 🦏 and many other species. We love our lodge and the incredibly friendly staff and the amazing food also.

Stayed at madikwe River Lodge. Staff friendly but unobtrusive, nothing too much trouble. Food variety very good. Guides excellent tracking abilities - made sure we saw the big 5. An awesome experience overall good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful area - unfortunately we didn’t see the big 5 but not necessary - it was great enough

Excellent experience for the whole family. Small differences in species in the East (river) and West part. To explore the other side is a day trip, instead of two at one side. Not a bad idea to move from one lodge to another during your stay to see more animals. Great communication of guides in the park significantly increases chances to see what you look for.

Fantastic Game reserve an hour or so Outside of Gaborone, Botswana. We stayed at Tau lodge, booked last minute (week before) and paid a good price in November. Great experience overall, twice daily game drives (6a and 4p) with great and experienced staff who really care about curating your experience. Stayed for two nights, saw the big 5 and African dogs on 3 safaris- great luck. Good food and accommodations at Tau, right on a watering hole that is teeming with animals during the dry season. Would visit again.

One of the most beautiful places on Earth rich with flora and fauna. An immersive experience into tranquility, nature and the treasures of our planet at risk of extinction.

A fantastic park, unfortunately a bit expensive as there are not so many hotels, but this is even better for the animals :-) If you are lucky you can see the charming wild dogs, this is a unique experience. We really enjoyed the 6 nights and we would definitely go again. Can also be visited with children as it has no malaria.
