My son and I are traveling cross-country from coast to coast, and along our route to Yellowstone we discovered this absolute gem of a restaurant. The Bison filet and short ribs were phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and perfectly prepared as medium rare - the way a bison meat should be carefully cooked and seared. For starters, the trout cakes were outstanding, paired with a fresh house salad. We finished with a scoop of huckleberry ice cream that was the perfect sweet ending. From beginning to end, it felt like a thoughtfully crafted four-course dining experience. A true highlight of our journey.

Google
We were recommended this place on our road trip through western USA, and definitely glad we stopped by! The food was excellent, and so was the service. The flat iron was cooked perfectly- both the meat and Gouda gratin were flavourful and delicious. However, the portion of bison ribs, while delicious, was a bit mean with only a singular rib. The pudding (blueberry bread pudding) was fantastic so definitely leave room at the end. They don’t take reservations - which is a personal downside- so a wait for the table is inevitable, but otherwise a very enjoyable evening!

Google
Madison Crossing Lounge was fantastic - easily the best meal we had during our stay in West Yellowstone! We made reservations ahead of time (highly recommend) and were so glad we did - there was already a line out the door before they even opened for dinner. The space is cozy and intimate, so it fills up fast. I had the pasta and it was absolutely amazing - perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My boyfriend had the bison burger, which was also delicious. We also had the trout cakes as an appetizer - very tasty! Every dish was spot-on, from presentation to taste. The atmosphere, service, and food all exceeded our expectations. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in West Yellowstone - just be sure to book a table early!

This lounge was so nice, we went twice! We got there right at 5pm when they opened, and we're glad we did — they fill up fast! The service was excellent. Justin was very attentive and helpful. We ordered amazing Bison Burgers, nachos, and steak. The burger was incredible — one of the best I've ever had. We also got drinks and enjoyed recapping our day in Yellowstone National Park. Overall, this was one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in our Teton/Yellowstone/Glacier 9-Day Tour!

Google
This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to 7 national parks. West Yellowstone doesn't offer much more than burgers and fries until we found Madison Crossing Restaurant. I had the best shrimp and grits in the West. I felt like I was back in Savannah, enjoying a taste of the South. I highly recommend this Restaurant.

Google
We arrived at 4:55 p.m. and there were already 3–4 groups ahead of us. We were seated right away when the restaurant opened at 5:00 pm. The place fills up quickly, and people started to line up waiting around 5:30 pm on a Tuesday night. Eager to try some local game, we ordered the elk steak and bison tenderloin. The elk steak was especially juicy, complemented by a flavorful mushroom wine sauce and pepper. The bison tenderloin had a coarser texture compared to beef and a more pronounced gamey flavor, especially in contrast to the elk. The accompanying vegetables were surprisingly delicious, fresh and crisp. We highly recommend everything we ordered. The chef clearly knows their craft and pays close attention to the details.

Leah L.

Google
The appetizer was only okay, it definitely needed more toppings. The bison tenderloin was good and the asparagus and mashed potatoes were solid sides. The drinks were tasty. I’d come back.

Google
Came here for dinner after spending the day in Western Yellowstone. It's right outside the Yellowstone gate, so was very busy around dinner time. Was quoted a 45 minute, but was closer to 30 and was able to view the queue on our phone. Ordered the Trout, Halibut, Stuffed Prawns, and Pasta Special along with some drinks. Waiter recommended the Halibut instead of the local Trout and he was absolutely correct. Overall, good and service was very good.

Yelp
Looking at the menu before we got here we thought it was a little pricey but decided to go for it, and we were definitely glad we did, worth every penny! Ice cold waters served all around and had a very large glass of water already on the table so you could refill yourself (big plus to me.) Wife started with a glass of red wine, Argentina Malbec ($15), and loved it. I got the 1910 Old Fashioned ($15) and it was killer, it was strong, heavy poured but balanced. Wife got the Bison meatloaf ($27) and it was moist and flavorful! It came with mashed potatoes and green beans, which were cooked very well. Our five year old got the kids chicken ($10), which is a seasoned chicken breast, mashed potatoes and green beans. He can be decently picky at times, I mean he's five, but he loved everything. I ordered the ribeye steak ($47), rare-medium rare. It came with a blue cheese compound butter, roasted carrots, and smoked Gouda au gratin potatoes. It was amazing, the steak was cooked perfect, as was everything else. I haven't had a steak that good in quite some time! Wife and I also shared a Caesar salad ($9) it was darn good with made in house croutons. Our server was very attentive and she was very polite. We were lucky enough to get right in, but it did fill up and people were having to wait a few minutes. Overall, very clean inside with a chill atmosphere, food was great, well worth the extra little price! ($127 total)

Yelp
If you saw a bison in the Yellowstone National Park and want to try it, this restaurant has a great selection. No local fish though. The bar area is way bigger than the restaurant. We've been wanting over a half hour to get it(4 people, Thursday night 7:30) Chef recommends "bison tenderloin" medium rare , and the server asked me how I would like it cooked. I asked "medium" and specifically asked "no blood please". However, it was a lot of blood LOL. But they've been nice and took my dish out to fix it. I recommend!

Yelp
The food was good but pricey The service was ok but not great It was easy to get in and in this small town is hard to come by

Yelp
Bison is the theme for this night's dinner. Bison burger: I've had bison before, but it has been such a long time that I thought after seeing these creatures during the day that why not, let's try some again. If you've never had it before, it's just like any beef burger. There's a slightly gamey flavor to it, but nowhere near as gamey as deer. It's nothing crazy if you're on the fence about trying bison. Do it! Be daring! :) This 8 oz bison comes with caramelized onions and blue cheese and their house steak sauce. Bison meatloaf: The bison was good but not amazing per the hubs. He enjoys meatloaf so why not bison meatloaf. Even with all the sauce, you can still distinguish the bison. And it went so well with the garlic [mashed] potatoes; the chantilly potatoes were crazy good. The asparagus were so so. Caramelized onions: These were incidentally added instead of a substitution. They're caramelized onions, and these are no exception. Meaning they were okay. It's not like there were gold flakes or anything making it special. But we were charged $3 for it though. :( This little restaurant is quite busy without a reservation around dinner time. The wait time wasn't too terrible at approximately 20 mins of a wait time. There's a brewery across the hallway if you want to grab a beer while you wait.

Yelp
The meats were all cooked well. The bison tenderloin was definitely the best but even the elk and the flat iron steak were fantastic. Vegetables were a tad undercooked, so overall had more of a crunch than we like them. I had the huckleberry burger (the only dish I didn't take a photo of...) and it was actually solid. The two main disappointments were the au poivre sauce on the elk and the salad. The sauce tasted like straight up just alcohol and ruined the beautiful elk. For the salad, there was an overload of goat cheese and not enough dressing - and one of my pet peeves is a salad doused in dressing so the fact that I wanted more dressing has pretty much never happened to me before. All in all, we were impressed by a few things considering the location and I still would recommend others to come in and try the bison tenderloin.

Yelp
our waiter Brian was awesome, he suggested the Bison and Elk Both were excellent, Best steak i have ever had. This place is a must stop and be sure to ask for Brian! Guy is really great! Also we had Daou Pessimist Red Blend, which was also amazing! ~cowboy

Yelp
This place is busy (even in the off season) but the food is worth the wait! Elevated bar and large group dining atmosphere. My husband is a burger snob and his devoured his burger within minutes. I had the prosciutto pasta and it was delicious! Flavorful with just the right amount of kick. So creamy and definitely comforting. We shared the lemon sorbet which was just the right amount of tart. If we weren't so full, I would have loved to try their other desserts. Just an excuse to go back again!

Yelp
What a great place for dinner!! We arrived at 5 when it opened & were seated right away. It filled up quickly with people waiting to be seated! Such a cute spot in the middle of town!! Brian our server was excellent!!! I had the Chicken Prosciutto Pasta & my husband had the Bison burger w/fries. Both were served hot & so delicious!! Also had a light beer on tap, served ice cold!! Highly recommend when visiting West Yellowstone!!

Yelp
Great place for dinner in West Yellowstone! Drinks are good, although limited but delicious vegetarian options. We came here 2 out of 3 nights for dinner and would definitely recommend the place. It was quite busy even for a weekday late evening dinner. The ingredients seem super fresh. Great place to unwind after a long day in wilderness.

Yelp
We saw a lot of Bison at Yellowstone. So my natural thought was, "I want to eat you." The wife's Bison Burger I've had bison before, but it's been so long I wasn't sure if it was a memory or just a very vivid meat dream. It was most likely at Ted's Montana Grill. I don't particularly seek bison meat on a regular basis. Think beef, but with a gamey glint in its like it once roamed free. Bison Meatloaf I thought it was good, not mind-blowing, but you could still taste the bison under all that sauce. I've also never had mind blowing meatloaf so there's that. The garlic mashed (or as they call them, chantilly potatoes, because apparently potatoes got fancy) were also great. The asparagus? Meh. We didn't have a reservation, but the 20-minute wait was manageable. Luckily, there's a brewery nearby for a pre-dinner pint, which makes time pass faster. Would I come here again? Maybe. The bar next door is cool.

Yelp
Nice place right in West Yellowstone. We started with the bison nachos, which were a little disappointing. There was not much meat whatsoever on them and for the price, we were expecting more. I had the steak and my husband had the chicken prosciutto pasta. Those were excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked with a great chimichurri sauce, asparagus, and a choice between mashed potatoes or smokey au gratin potatoes, which I chose. The potatoes were the perfect accompaniment and were delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pasta. Very flavorful. Our waitress was great and the food came out pretty quick for a busy night. Would definitely come back again if we are in the area.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in a busy area. There's street parking but might have to walk a tad during the busy season. We arrived on a Sunday at 5 pm during a 3-day weekend. We put our name on the wait list and was told 30 minutes. In the meantime, we went across the way to have a beer and cocktail. The huckleberry lemonade was dangerously refreshing. About 25 minutes enjoying my beverage, our table was ready. Water was already waiting for us and our server promptly greeted us. I ordered the spinach strawberry salad and trout cakes. The salad didn't live up to my expectations due to the dressing that should be addressed. I thought it was too citrusy and overtook the plate. Unsure if the trout cakes are fresh or frozen. I enjoyed the Smokey flavor but the texture was mushy. My companion enjoyed his steak and sides. He finished everything on his plate and would make any mother proud.
google avatar

Ann Y.

Yelp
Flat iron steak was yum! It was perfectly cooked to medium as I ordered. However, I'd love if it came with a bit more veggie. Angus burger was good too. Bison burger tasted okay, a bit gamy to my likeness. Service was good. Ambience was great. Coming from west coast, one thing surprised me is that none of the restaurants along our WYO/ID/MONT trip offered breads and butter when we were waiting for our meals. Interesting.
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
Great food. Yummy steaks! Attentive waiters. Fun cocktails. We had a fabulous dinner here celebrating our son and his fiancée's engagement.

Kelly D.

Yelp
Unbelievable meal at Madison Crossing! Great food, service, and ambiance. Definitely check out this spot for dinner if you're in West Yellowstone!
google avatar

Ivan Q.

Yelp
Best restaurant in West Yellowstone. Does not accept reservations. Show up between 5-5:30 or ensure the wait!! We sat at the bar and enjoyed great service. The beer recommendations were spot on throughout our dinner. For dinner my daughter picked the kids grilled chicken and mashed potatoes. She loved the potatoes so much, she took a second helping home. My wife and I picked the bison meatloaf and Idaho rainbow trout. Both were delicious, but we would have to give the edge to the meatloaf. It was outstanding. When we come back to do another section of Yellowstone we will definitely eat here again.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Here for a quick stop over. Wanted to try a rare Elk stake. I've had Elk before , but this place had the best Elk I've ever had. The service was great. Food amazing. Prices very reasonable for the quality of the food they serve.

Janika S.

Yelp
Food was not cooked through, 1/3 of my flat iron steak was medium and the rest were raw. The waiter said he asked twice how was the food, it was at the beginning of my meal and I have only tasted the first 2" of my meat. And after that I don't see him again. I know the restaurant is very popular, but it doesn't mean the staff has to be arrogant
google avatar

Whisper W.

Yelp
You cannot go wrong by choosing this restaurant for dinner. Another couple waiting suggested we get the Bison Tenderloin. It was perfectly cooked medium rare and just - chefs kiss- so good no words. Husband got the Elk Osso Bucco special. It was a 10/10. We shared the Idaho trout cakes for an appetizer. Takes similar to salmon but lighter. For dessert we split the blueberry bread pudding. It was fantastic. Our server and bar tender were very friendly and helpful with our food and drink choices. We would definitely go back again!
google avatar

Mike J.

Yelp
Inside decor was nice, guess this used to be a schoolhouse in a previous life. I had a bison burger and steak fries. Bison was good and juicy ( cooked to medium). I am not a big fan of steak fries, but these weren't bad considering they attempted to put some seasoning on it, just a wee bit oily. Momma had a ravioli creamy pesto salad and had prawns added to the mix. She was very pleased with this concoction. They do have a full service bar, if you like that addition to your meal. Beer selection was satisfactory, but you could head next door to the Yellowstone Brewing company if you are that thirsty.
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
We ate here twice while staying in west Yellowstone for 5 days. I tried the ravioli and impossible burger (I'm vegetarian). The food was some of the best in West Yellowstone.
google avatar

Raadhika V.

Yelp
Great cocktails, we loved the huckleberry Lemon Drop! I also enjoyed the grilled peach salad, though it was a small portion. Our server and other staff were helpful and kind.
google avatar

Murat D.

Yelp
Better than all stup*t restaurants in the town Good foods good service good ambiance Every restaurant in this village serves the same food! If you want to eat something different, stop by here.
google avatar

Tuong-Chi P.

Yelp
We walked in on a Saturday night and were seated at the bar right away. We had 2 great cocktails, Huckleberry Lemonade and Moscow Muel. I had a cup of lobster bisque, then we had a Rainbow Trout and a Stuffed Prawn. We ended with a scoop of Huckleberry Sundae and a scoop of salted caramel ice cream.

Lisa L.

Yelp
A local resident recommended Madison Crossing Lounge and for good reason. The dining room was nicely decorated with some beautiful art pieces, which were priced for sale. We were seated at a high top table next to the window which gave us a view of the town. We ordered rainbow trout and a Caesar salad. This trout does look and taste like salmon, which was a surprise, but was good. It was served with some fresh, perfectly cooked green beans. The salad was also fresh and was quite large and tasty. The service by everyone here was excellent!
google avatar

Fernando A.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner at Madison Crossing after a day of traveling to Yellowstone. My wife and I both opted for the rainbow trout, mainly because you don't see it often on menus in LA. It looks and tastes like salmon, and is basically delicious. For dessert, we shared a blueberry bread pudding with ice cream that was also really good. This place gets busy and doesn't take reservations in the summer, but it's totally worth it.
google avatar

Richard S.

Yelp
Best food in Western Yellowstone. Great service, food was top, had the flatiron and stuffed prawns, did not disappoint. Nice ambiance.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Very impressed with this spot! Convenient location in West Yellowstone and great food. The chicken prosciutto was amazing and the Madison crossing salad was solid as well. Service was great as well. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Kathryn K.

Yelp
I cannot actually review the food since we were refused to be seated at the door. The website states No Reservations, yet, despite multiple open floor tables we were turned away. What an incredibly disappointing experience! Just to be clear, the hostess turned away our party with a disabled Veteran.
google avatar

Ellie N.

Yelp
The bison burger is tasty. The bison smells strongly like buffalo, which is a good thing. Many restaurants serve bisons but it tastes nothing different than beef. The fries is ok but not great. Rainbow trouts are good and the portion is just right.
google avatar

Simon K.

Yelp
Decent food. They're owned by the same person as the Yellowstone Brewery next door. So you can hang out over there while you wait for your table. They have pool tables upstairs and video gambling downstairs. Once your table is ready, you can bring your drinks with you from the brewery. If you're willing to dine at the restaurant bar counter, then you'll be seated much faster. The Caesar salad was good. The lobster bisque was gritty and could have been blended more, but it had a nice taste, although it was fairly runny, not that thick. It makes me wonder if they used heavy cream in it as they should have. The Bison Meatloaf was good. Nice and light and not gamey at all. However it was a bit cold, even though it arrived on a hot plate. So we asked them to warm it up. The mashed potatoes were great. The carrots were good. The Ribeye steak with horseradish potatoes au-gratin was good. I wish there was seasoning seared into the steak. But it comes with cowboy butter which seems to be like a tomato butter. You really taste the horseradish in the potatoes so be prepared for that. The broccoli was flavor with something mixed into it, but it was somewhat raw, not even el dente. The sides of mushrooms and onions were alright.

Evan C.

Yelp
Drinks were top notch. Old fashions were on point. Goat cheese appetizer was really fresh and good. Every entree at dinner had everyone talking. We were in town for 5 nights, this was the best restaurant we had food at in town.

Del Y.

Yelp
$25.00 for two hot dogs and no drinks, come on. I think they totally take advantage of people. Go to a gas station before you stop here.
google avatar

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Was excited to try this place the burgers sounded good. We ordered to go and the person who helped us was super nice and friendly. I would have added more stars is we had dinned in I am sure our experience would have been better. The dinning room looked nice and inviting. However the disappointment came when the gratuity was added already I definitely tip and usually tip well since I have lived off tips however it should be my choice and how much. Then we got the food back to our hotel and it was wrong I asked for medium well it was not I asked for no onion there was onion thank goodness I am not allergic so I picked them off. My husband ask for no tomato there was tomato and he ask for medium his was well done. The fries some were cooked great some could crack my teeth.
google avatar

Celina S.

Yelp
Ordered the bison burger, trout, and Madison salad The service was so friendly but the food wasn't that great. My burger was overcooked and to their credit, they noticed and offered to remake it. But at that point the restaurant was getting busy and I didn't want to wait - still kudos to our waiter Justin. I also thought the fish was overcooked and veggies / rice soggy. The salad was good but for $12 quite expensive for what it was when the side salad was half the price and the same portion.
google avatar

Mitzi D.

Yelp
The ABSOLUTE hands-down, BEST meal in West Yellowstone! If you are like us, left wondering how a sub-par town with insanely priced accommodations and groceries can scape offering upscale dining / gourmet establishments and limited bourbon selection, this is THE PLACE you should go! I'm mind blown that my first trip to the area left me thinking that bar food was the only option for 2 days. Madison Crossing gave me hope! The menu is well-curated, and the bison filet special was outstanding. The asparagus and smashed potatoes were an excellent compliment, as well. My husband and I dined at the bar and Jordan was an excellent bar tender server. He offered excellent options and his suggestions were spot-on. We plan to go back tomorrow for their offerings. They have an excellent Boubon selections (far beyond any we have experienced in the town), decent wine, and the best options in town for upscale food fare.
google avatar

Ashley B.

Yelp
Madison crossing lounge is a must whether you are staying in town or just passing through. The staff is wonderfully efficient and kind. My party was seating almost immediately, though do keep in mind this is a first come first serve. Though reservations are not part of their routine, that have great management regarding who is leaving and arriving. The food was delicious, fresh, and just really hit the spot after a long day in the park. I highly recommend starting with the peach arugula flatbread. The flavors were so fantastic. Everything you'd want on a flatbread and it's so light. The herb infused olive oil brought everything together. The peaches were tangy and sweet. There was a nice bit and nuttiness with the arugula and pine nuts. And the burrata cheese was a very nice creamy touch. Only one slice of photographed because we ate this appetizer so fast. Entrees were the bison meatloaf and bison filet. The meat loaf is beautiful! Tender, flavorful, and that good home cooked meal flair that everyone loves. I subbed the mash for red potatoes. And a little word of advice, ask for a side of ranch. The ranch is very light, perhaps made in house. The ranch is a very nice compliment to the meatloaf and potatoes. The bison filet was tender and really had the chef really let that natural flavors of the bison shine through. The broccoli was sautéed with what tasted like garlic and red wine vinaigrette. If you are a red meat lover, this dish is for you. You would absolutely appreciate the flavor. For desert we ordered the tiramisu and blood orange sorbet. The sorbets do change out so just ask your waiter the current flavor. The tiramisu was a delight. The cream was thick and fluffy. The lady fingers were perfectly soaked and the coco dust was a little richer than traditional which I really prefer. I order a cup of mint chocolate tea to rest. This meal was a beautiful addition to our trip In Yellowstone. An absolute must!

Adrianna S.

Yelp
We stopped in on a Tuesday in June around 5:30. Tables were mostly full so we sat at the bar. Service was great! Really friendly and attentive. Food can take a little while but not too bad. Cocktails were delicious. The bartender was in training and she did a fantastic job! If you like mezcal, the Smoke and Pepper is so tasty. The food was disappointing. The Caesar salad was good. Then it was downhill. You could not taste the huckleberry at all on the Huckleberry Burger. The cream in the lobster bisque was curdled and it was not hot. The fries were a little soggy. Maybe come for the cocktails and the service and grab food somewhere else?

Randy H.

Yelp
My best dining experience in West Yellowstone. Highly recommend the Bison Tenderloin. This place is very good and popular so get there early to get a table. Otherwise, put your name on the list and wander around the local shops till they text you that your table is ready. You won't regret it.

Rusty B.

Yelp
Only place that we visited in West Yellowstone that had good food, service, and drinks. We ate at the bar and it was a 5 star meal.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
3-1/2 stars. Nice atmosphere, food was average, good cocktails. Cowboy chic ambiance. Would go there again, but without excitement.
google avatar

Erika P.

Yelp
Definitely a more traditional option in town with some healthier options. After a weekend of eating convenient and fast foods, this seemed like a nice change of pace. When we arrived, we stood in an unorganized line by the entrance for like half an hour before we figured out the people were already on the wait list and didn't have anywhere else to wait. We had to track down the host to get our names on the list and wait some more. The trout dish was okay, healthy but very plain. The burger was also just okay. Had a great time talking to the bartender and folks at the bar, but the food was a bit lackluster.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
My family and I are not huge on drinks, so we just tried the food which will be the focus of this review. Service could have been better. When we arrived around 5pm, we were greeted warmly by the staff who wanted to sit us at the entrance. There were plenty of open tables, so my family asked if we could sit further inside the restaurant since it would feel like a more private experience with less foot traffic. We actually got visible looks of disgust from several staff members which felt rude and unwelcoming. We also felt rushed with our visit, as the waitresses brought the check and processed our payment before we had even finished eating. That said, we tried the angus burger ($17), jackfruit burger (vegan, $16), chicken prosciutto pasta ($24), and peach flatbread (vegan, $14). I appreciated how their menu has gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options labeled clearly. Many of the burgers (which come with fries) can be veganized with an impossible burger substitution. The food arrived reasonably quickly, after around 15 minutes. My family really enjoyed the angus burger, fries, and peach flatbread (my favorite! Very balanced sweetness and lightness). However the chicken pasta tasted flat, and its ingredients did not seem fresh. The jackfruit was also too spicy for my taste to the point I was sweating profusely and in visible discomfort (it was not labeled as spicy on the menu). Thankfully they were kind enough to take it off our tab. Their drink menu (5+ pages and a booklet) is vastly larger than the food menu (1 page). The price ranges for the drinks were extremely variable, with a variety of more affordable (less than $50 a bottle) and pricey (up to $430 a bottle) options.

Yelp
We came december 23 around 630pm and initially we sat at the bar and there were two bartenders. We were carded and the discomfort began as the older bartender busted out laughing after looking at my husbands ID. Mind you its a totally normal photo and there was nothing funny to laugh about. It became increasingly awkard as she seemed unable to stop laughing and said to him "im not laughing at you, im laughing with you!". The problem being we were in fact not laughing at all. Feeling weirdly judged and offput by the situation we moved to a table instead of the bar seating. We would probably have given our time there a better rating had that whole situation not occured so that worker made quite the negative impression. We ordered more drinks and something to eat and the food and drinks were good, luckily what seemed to be the only male waiter with short dark hair was very nice and genuinely funny and put us in a better mood before we left but being unable to forget that earlier part of our night we must let it be reflected in the score. We would have probably had more drinks there but went elsewhere, wanting to leave.

Jesse S.

Yelp
Best experience we had by far in Yellowstone. Prices were reasonable. Service was wonderful (shoutout to Justin, he was great and y'all should give him a free pour of birthday bourbon). The food was to die for, especially the bison short ribs and prosciutto pasta. Would reccomend 10/10, best meal in west Yellowstone by a long shot.

Vickie R.

Yelp
The food was so good the first night we went back for a second dinner here. The waiter and waitress we had were both friendly and new the menu well to help us with our selections.

Ann Marie S.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday night and was able to get seated pretty quickly. The host and server were friendly and attentive. The food was amazing- we had elk and bison- which I've never had before, but enjoyed both immensely! Highly recommend a meal here when visiting West Yellowstone!

Yelp
If you love bland, over-priced food, this is the place for you! The chef is terrified is such wild, exotic ingredients such as ... salt. If the chef saw a salt shaker, he would probably scream, cross himself and sprint to a corner where he would tremble in fear until the salt shaker was removed from the room. The steak had no salt. The trout had no salt. The burger had no salt. I'm not sure they know how to spell salt. They also lie all across the menu. Outright lies. The trout is supposed to have a butter and white wine sauce. It did not have a butter and white wine sauce. It did not have any sauce at all. There was zero flavor. There was certainly no white wine and no butter on it. It tasted like white wine and butter had waved at it from far across a room and then never paid a visit. The rib eye was supposed to have a blue cheese topping. It did not have a blue cheese topping. It had a minuscule dollop of butter with ZERO blue cheese in it. There was a single fleck of something in the butter which might have been dropped in accidentally from the floor of the kitchen, but which had zero flavor. I don't even know how you find tasteless butter, but they must have searched far and wide for butter leached of all flavor. Like a thin gruel of margarine, rather than actually food made from milk. The wild rice was actually rice pilaf. I don't know why they lie about this. It's 95% rice pilaf and has a few, symbolic flecks of wild rice. If you served a filet mignon that was 95% skirt steak and 5% filet mignon, you could not call it filet mignon. You would get sued. Well, you should be sued for lying about the rice. If the food department came in and shut you down, we should have a parade across town, celebrating the protection of taste buds everywhere, saving all of mankind from your hideous, flavorless food. The waitress hated us. She was an older woman who had the type of haughty attitude that let us know right from the beginning that she did not care about us. We saw her only once after the initial order was taken. It seemed like it pained her greatly to have to look at us or talk to us. She treated our party of 8 as though we were lepers.

Yelp
My group enjoyed this place. The menu was fairly diverse. I had a local lager (because they were out of the local Pilsner I wanted). I had a Bison burger with sautéed onions and pepper jack cheese. I had it cooked medium at the server's suggestion. I liked it very much. It was cooked to medium, as requested and had a lot of taste. I liked the brioche buns too. The fries were perhaps the one of the best I've had. I felt 'compelled' to eat every one. Our server was very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful.
