Madison Taipei, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Very beautiful, clean hotel! Enjoyed our stay here! They gave new bottles of water for free everyday. The location is okay though. It’s inbetween to MRT stops on the red line. The bus is right outside the hotel though so that’s super convenience! There is a 711 nearby so that’s super helpful!

During our Jan 5-9, 2026 stay, whether we were leaving or returning to the hotel, his greetings made us feel at home. ||We were also very surprised when Ian initiated a surprised (and early…by 4 days) birthday gift for me. It was a gesture that the hotel need not have done but the staff took that extra step to indulge us and show gratitude. ||Unique Breakfast Settings:|Madison Hotel’s breakfast service was a wonderful way to start the day. The daily menu, which changes from day to day, allowed for us to select unique Taiwanese dishes and western ones.||Where else would one get “stewed pork & truffle wrapped in a clay-ovened roll,” “Hisnchu braised pork and meatballs & vermicelli noodle soup,” “smoked duck breast with spring onions & scrambled eggs inside a warm roll” or your classic “French toast topped with mixed berries” for breakfast?||We were politely served by a tall, bespeckled young chap who knew our drink and food preferences from day one. Thank you!||Immaculate Room (#809):|The rooms were immaculately clean and spacious. Loved the Toto toilets, which were environmentally more friendly versus the traditional gravity pulled toilets we mostly see and use in the west. ||Doormen of the Year:|The two doormen we met were equally friendly and attentive. It was not the services that they usually provided, eg., opening/closing doors, hailing a taxi, etc. that caught our attention. It was them proactively providing complimentary umbrellas for us even before we stepped outside and not knowing it was raining. It was them rushing to help us with our luggage from 30 meters away as we exited the elevators and loading them into the taxi. One has to be impressed with their attention to details and the focus on the customer. ||Our only suggestion for improvements, not that there needed to be any, was to expand the daily happy hours from its current 6-7PM to 5-7PM. ||Thank you, Madison Hotel Taipei!

Style. Modern contemporary owned by the Cathay group in Taiwan Setting. Daan district. A nice quieter area in Taipei and a change of scenery from my usual corporate hotels in Xinyi district. Explore. Taipei. Rooms. Cozy room. I was on the 5th floor (507) @ the hotel. I didn’t stay long enough to spend much time here but years ago our company did host a small client event here and I like the smaller boutique vibe here Food & drinks. Lounge on ground floor. Restaurant on first floor. Prices. US$230 Rating. 4/5 Took a point off as 1) bathtub was dirty with a couple strands of hair in it and 2) was not able to adjust room temperature (it was 12 Celsius outside and I was not able to adjust the air up past 23 Celsius).

I had a great stay at Madison Taipei. We only stayed for one night after we landed in Taipei. It’s located at a very convenient spot, close to a metro station, night market, and shopping malls (101). The room is on the smaller side, but it’s still clean and comfortable. The front desk was really helpful and accommodating for our early check-in request so we could rest up after our 14-hour flight.

Solid hotel, newly joined marriott programme. Staff are friendly and quick, rooms are spatious and clean with basic amenities (I was however missing some body lotion). Location very convenient, with everything you need within walking distance as well as bus station close by.

Excellent , modern hotel located in a more affluent part of Taipei City . Easy to walk to cafes , restaurants and of course Family Mart and 7/11. Modern rooms with comfortable beds, fantastic bathrooms with Japanese toilets and nice bedding . The breakfast spread is terrific with a lot of Chinese and western options . Plant based options as well which is very important to us !! Staff is friendly and very helpful . Highly recommend !

The location is about 7 min walk from the red Xinyi Anhe station. Quiet and safe area. The mini bar was complimentary. The front desk staff were super friendly. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. The robes and slippers did it for me. Will def stay again when back in Taipei!

We had a great experience from the beginning. We had a warm welcome from the opening of their doors to greet us. Each day we were greeted by the staff. They were all very helpful. Daniel was very helpful is giving us guidance and directions to local restaurants and the night market.

This is a new Marriott Bonvoy hotel, 30 min away from the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean. We did ask for air freshener because of a slight moldy smell, they brought an air purifier to the room, The breakfast is included in the stay. It's an amazing buffet of both Taiwanese cuisine and American Continental cuisine. Staff are friendly and professional. Will stay here again.

The room itself appeared nice and neat, but I wouldn't say it's the cleanest hotel I've been to. They give a 150nt voucher for the bar downstairs, so that was nice (though the drinks are more than that, which is expected). My only complaint is the moldy smell coming from the AC unit. I asked the front desk if they had any disinfectant spray, and they offered to bring in a air purification unit--which was nice, but did not help much with the musty/moldy smell. I ended up wearing a mask throughout my stay, so it was a bit inconvenient. I would suggest the hotel to check for mold and change their filters. If the rooms smelled as nice as the lobby, that would've been nice!

Nice 4 star hotel with an awesome whiskey bar in the lobby. I'll definitely come back and stay here again.

If I had to describe the Madison in a word it would be: luxe. And chic. And elegant. And modern. And classy. And and and...! It's one of those places where the toilet lid opens when you near.. And they offer complimentary snacks. And the fluffiest slippers you get to take home--whaaa? Depending on what side of the building you're on, you might have a fantastic view of Taipei 101. Oh and did I mention the free cell phone they let you use while staying with them? No more roaming for you! International calls for free! Whaaa? The breakfast buffet is pretty awesome, too. I got to experience more than once over the summer and while they have staples like breads and eggs and fruit etc, they also rotate a ton of dishes so you get a huge variety on the Asian to Western spectrum. My favorite was the duck salad. Yes. Duck. Salad. For breakfast. You should go spoil yourself here.

I came to this hotel for a short trip to taipei with my mom. This hotel was very very clean! I loved the location of this place.. its super central to everything... walkable to ALOT of places! They also have umbrellas you could use in case it rains! The only thing i wasnt too impressed with was their breakfast.... it wasnt something i look forward to and prolly could miss. But overall , a great hotel to stay

I found this hotel via reading reviews from yelp, TripAdvisor and hotel.com. The price was reasonable and my mother wanted to be near Taipei 101. The welcome was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly. Some of the staff members speak English which was helpful for us. Even when they don't they still give great service! We got our rooms upgraded. Yeah! Loved the room. It's spacious, modem and creek water/snacks. My favorite is the bathroom!

Wow. Nice hotel. My brother checked in before I did and he got 2 rooms. When I got there they couldn't look up my information for about 10 minutes..until she asked someone else and they realized that I was already checked in and my stuff was waiting on the side next to the computer. Unfortunately they thought I only had one guest so they said they had to charge me extra because I had someone else with me..which was weird. The room I was in had 2 beds in it. The rooms are really nice and clean. There are automatic toilets, a fridge, slippers, toiletries. All of the snacks and drinks in the room are free for the eating/taking. The curtains are so opaque that in the morning it still looks like nighttime if they're closed. They were also able to hold all our luggage while we went out to eat and look around after check out. The entire layout of the place is spectacular and they have a lounge on the first floor with a live singer.

I stayed here on a weeknight after booking on Hotels.com. Overall, it was a great stay and at times, it felt like we were the only guests there. The room was brand new and really, really nice. Super comfy bed, fluffy slippers and I loved the bathroom amenities. I think I literally gushed at the toothbrushes. (Trust me, they were cool.) The location is pretty convenient, but you'll need to stroll over to the Zhongxiao Dunhua MRT, or the Xinyi Anhe MRT. From my experience, it's definitely a sleek business hotel versus a party hotel and a good option if you want to steer clear of the Xinyi area but don't want to stay at the Shangri-La.
