a beautiful and elegant perfumery, offering both an impressive variety and quantity—two entire floors packed with perfumes. the staff was alright, though we would’ve appreciated having some perfume blotters available. having to call someone repeatedly just to smell a fragrance can get a bit tiresome after a while. beyond the perfumes, the interior is equally captivating. they pay great attention to design, with stunning paintings and a thoughtfully arranged space that adds to the overall experience. we definitely recommend visiting this spot 😊

During my recent visit to a luxury perfumery, I was met with an exceptional level of service that truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, I felt warmly welcomed by Alina, a highly knowledgeable and attentive salesperson. Her approach was genuine and personal, making me feel valued as a customer. Alina went above and beyond to assist me, taking the time to showcase a range of exquisite fragrances, including some from my home country, France, that I hadn’t encountered before. As someone who has been traveling across Europe and other continents for several years, collecting unique perfumes from around the world, this experience felt truly special. The attention to detail and tailored recommendations made my visit unforgettable. Alina’s expertise and passion for perfumery were evident, and her ability to guide me toward scents that resonated with my personal style was remarkable. The shop itself was elegant and well-curated, offering a wide selection of rare and luxury brands that cater to both connoisseurs and curious explorers like me. This was a top-notch experience, and I will undoubtedly return to this perfumery to discover my next olfactory gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional service and a personalized perfume journey!

Not my first visit to this store, but definitely my last. After testing some perfumes me and my friend were made to leave by a rude employee who said we “smelled a lot of fragrances” and that they only serve customers with reservations and the experience is meant to be 20 minutes. No problem with such a policy but she could have told us from the beggining. Her tone was condescending and dismissive throughout the whole interaction, which made the experience unpleasant. Despite the nice fragrance selection, the staff’s attitude completely ruined the visit. The sales assistant with the bob haircut and glasses could benefit from some basic customer service training.

I had a fantastic experience at Madison, thanks to Alex, who made exploring fragrances both enjoyable and insightful. He took the time to understand my taste and guided me through a curated selection, teaching me how a perfume should complement not just a look but also a mood. Without his help, I would have felt overwhelmed by the vast selection and probably left with a headache! What sets this store apart is their approach—they encourage you to try as many fragrances as you want without any pressure to buy. The focus is entirely on helping you find something that truly fits you and that you genuinely love, rather than just making a sale. It’s a refreshing and rare experience that makes perfume shopping a real pleasure. Highly recommend!

2 stars are for Roxana and Diana, the two sales consultants that assisted me during previous visits and helped me better define a list of perfumes that suit my tastes. They are top-notch! The 3rd star is for the location itself which is decorated tastefully and has a fine selection of products. However... last time I've been there I had an unpleasant experience with the sales lady who wears glasses and a bob haircut. I choose to outline her not to shame/cause issues to her but because she needs to step up her customer-service game through proper training offered by the shop hopefully. She had an unsuitable attitude during our brief interaction. I don't expect staff to be fake-friendly but at least to be respectful, polite and move around the customers subtly. What happened is that I went to the shop with my friend to show her my favourite products and see if we end up picking something to buy. The shop assistant that I described above threw in our faces when we gently declined assistance that "her job is to help us". Basically there was no need for assistance because I already knew what I want to check out. Her reply sounds innocent and kind of obvious but the way the said it with repugnant grin... What felt uninviting was that she asked us not to touch the bottles because she'll spray it on the papers for us. Part of the whole experience of understanding a perfume is that whole ritual of opening the bottle, looking at it, not only smelling the liquid inside. I felt like I was down looked to the extent of feeling the need to buy something quickly out of pressure and leave. Business is business and no risk of breaking or wasting anything, I get that. I understand the part of choosing clientele that will bring significant profit too but I don't know... the energy there is just not welcoming and open to emerge in a world of perfumes anymore. It used to be like that to me. In their attempt to be exclusive, the vibe is strictly commercial, money-oriented only. The niche aspect is obvious from the place itself however staff needs to be better trained so that they can behave "nichely" and nicely as well. Otherwise this place might become just a perfumery like any other one in a mall somewhere far away from luxury and civility.

It’s a wonderful store with perfumes and luxury items in general. I appreciated the fact that I could find all the Byredo perfumes here, which I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else in Bucharest. They also have a beautiful selection of decorative objects, including hand-painted plates and cups—it's a pleasure to discover them. Additionally, I came across La Bonne Brosse hairbrushes, which have become my favorites. Overall, it’s a very beautiful store with interesting items. I was surprised to see so many negative comments about the staff—personally, I found everyone very nice and polite, and I’ve had a wonderful experience every time I visited the store.

Where do I even begin? The customer service was absolutely horrendous. Apparently you need a reservation to get in, otherwise they only allow you 10 minutes to walk around and pick your perfume. This is unheard of — I’ve been to major perfume stores in Europe and was never imposed a time limit. How do you expect to make a proper decision when you’re constantly being rushed? The whole staff was quite arrogant, acted like I shouldn’t be in the store. What’s more, the store was completely empty, so their justification for the time limit was just ridiculous. I’m very disappointed & never intend to visit that place ever again.
