Madison's Bakery - Baked Goods & Coffee Shop

It was very good. The chocolate sprinkle donut had a fantastic inside but I wished they were more heavy on the chocolate topping. The cinnamon rolls and Boston Crème seemed to be better so I’m sad I didn’t get those but it was still really good. It’s mostly a to-go place in here. Not too many places to sit down inside but there are plenty outside.

The pastries and donuts were soft and had good flavor. Definitely coming back for the Jelly donuts — should’ve brought more to bring back home. The strawberry & cheese croissants were also pretty good! The breakfast sandwiches were not bad at all — a nice quick easy grab with their coffee.

Was in CM in July with friends for a week long vacation & had fun dropping into this bakery & enjoying all the yummy sweets. Staff is super friendly & donuts are DELISH.

My wife and I stopped into Madison's Bakery with a last-minute request for a gender reveal cupcake, and the staff went above and beyond to make it happen! They were so kind, accommodating and worked magic to have our order ready by the following day. The cupcakes were beautiful, delicious and made our gender reveal in Cape May feel extra special. We're so grateful for their care and creativity, and we highly recommend Madison's Bakery for all special occasion baked goods!

This place is UNBELIEVABLE from top to bottom !!! Family and I have to stop here every time we visit. Services is always great as are all the baked goods. Definitely have the best pumpkin muffins I have ever had. Keep it up Madison, you won this family over.

Madison's has THE BEST gluten free muffins! Every time I'm in Cape May, I always have to get one. This time I asked for half a dozen so I could freeze them and enjoy them a little longer than usual! They were very friendly about it and happy to fill my order!

Amazing fast service with a beautiful beach view! Staff is so helpful and kind. if you are gluten-free, this is the place you need to go! I’ve never had such amazing gluten-free muffin in my life, And I have been gluten-free for 20+ years! My kids are not even gluten-free and they asked me to have those muffins once they tasted mine! An absolute must when you’re down here in Cape May!!

Visited today, June 21. 2025. Although the donuts looked yummy and there was a big variety, grabbed a plain sticky bun and one with nuts (walnuts) and raisins. This is not my 1st time eating sticky buns from Madison's, but this is the 1st having the add-ons and yes, delish! Think they may also add a bit of "syrup" in there when you do the add-ons. Staff was very friendly. Conveniently located near the Washington Mall area.

First and last time going here. 2 so-called "sticky buns" and a cup of coffee was over $17! Guess that is what they mean by getting Cape May-ed Obviously they never have had real sticky buns. No raisins, minimal cinnamon, no cloves and covered in a syrup goo...like a two day old Cinnabon left in a car. The coffee was burnt. Stop at Brintons in WWC or Frog Hollow in Ocean View if you want real sticky buns!
